Hi everyone - My name is Jess (I am 23, 24 when baby arrives) and fiancés name is Matt (28). We are from Ireland and live in our home with our pooch, Charlie. He's a shih tzu
Hi ladies! My name is Mia, I am 23 (turning 24 in a week) and this is my first pregnancy. I am 6 weeks and 6 days today. My husband and I couldn't be happier! Our due date is May 16th 2016. I am a type one diabetic, so I am a "high risk pregnancy", but to be honest, my blood sugars have never been better, and a big thank you to my little sweet pea in making me take my health more seriously!
Hi everyone! Just got my positive a week ago. Due to very irregular cycles I'm either due end of May or 1st week of June. Hopefully I'll find out more after my Dr. Appointment on Tuesday. I will probably flip from this and the June Board. My daughter was born a little over 4 weeks early so even if I am due in June there's a good chance I'll have a May baby! Im so excited to have a second baby! And can't wait to start telling family and friends in a couple weeks.
This last cycle I decided to take a break from everything baby related because my chart was so wacky! Last Wednesday three different friends asked if I was pregnant so I figured why not poas. My husband and I have been ntnp since I got diagnosed with pcos last December. Anyway I took the test, fully believing it was going to be negative, at midnight. I covered it with an eye shadow, brushed my teeth, looked at it,and got the shock of my life. Woke up H and he didn't even believe me. He thought it was a false positive! So a few other sticks later he was in shock too! My tentative due date is May 28th.
Anyways a little about us: we bought a gut job house in June which has been fun but now I'm freaking out about cause it is not anywhere close to baby safe. I work three jobs. My hats are: barista, assistant teacher, and wedding coordinator. All three of which I love but will probably have to whittle it down to one or two as this pregnancy goes on.
Oh and we live in South Dakota!
So that's a snap shot into my life. I'm glad to be here!
I'm going to cautiously introduce myself since I've been posting a bit. I have a 18 month old boy who's silly. His pregnancy was easy and uneventful. I planned a homebirth for him, but had to be transferred to the hospital. (Yes i'm quite crunchy and no you don't want to push for 8 hours.)Then I got pregnant in February, but had that baby on April 1. Then got pregnant again in June and had that baby on July 20. We were about to sign ourselves up to be an adoptive family and SURPRISE! I'm pregnant again. So in the name of "third times the charm!" Here i am taking progesterone and due May 28 ish.
I have been looking through the messages over the past few days and think it's time I finally introduce myself. My name is Jessica and I live in New Zealand. I am 31 and have been married to my DH (Todd - 29) for a little over 2 months. I have one very active 4 year old from a previous relationship and can't wait to give him a sibling. My EDD is the 21st of May so am just over 6 weeks. I am super excited but anxious due to a loss early this year.
Looking forward to getting to know you over the next 9 months :-)
Hi ! I'm Sara and live in nj ! My husband and I have been together for 9 and a half years , married for 2 as is September 1 this year ! We started trying that day and continued the next week on our anniversary trip to Aruba where we apparently conceived ! I was so surprised when I got the BFP!
We have a rescue pit mix named arya after the character in game of thrones ! I am a therapist (clinical social worker) at a mental health facility for children and adolescents. My hubby manages a financial recruiting team . Our EDD is May 20 th which happens to also be my MIL 's birthday (eek!) Our first appointment is this Friday!
I'm Breanna (24) my fiancés name is Spencer (22) this is our first pregnancy it was a huge shock but were extremely excited! I'm 7 weeks today and my EDD is May 16
I'm 35, DH is 34. Married May 2014. First pregnancy. Hoping to be a FTM on April 30.
We weren't trying at all but this is the happiest mistake that has ever happened to me. I'm 9w4d today and i spent most of my time since i found out at 5w4d in shock trying to accept that this is happening, reading everything in sight, getting paranoid and lurking on these boards in disbelief that I'm part of this amazing new experience.
Sorry if I sound naive but joking about being parents "someday" as we focused on our careers and that "someday" jumping out at us has been life changing. A week ago we had an US and heart baby's heartbeat 168!!!! It made it so much more real. I'm looking forward to being on this journey with you all.
hi all, introducing myself here. married 1.5 years, diagnosed with severe MFI. our first ivf cycle ended in m.c at 9 weeks, 2nd cycle we did chromosmal screening and we are now 6 weeks pregnant. EDD is may 22!
nervous after our first loss, but hopeful that this baby is healthy.
Hi everyone! I am 31 years old and this will be my second child. My due date is May 2nd, but I went a week early with my son so I'm thinking I probably will with this one as well. I'm trying to be active on both the April 2016 and the May 2016 boards (if that's OK!?). This little nugget was not planned, and definitely surprised hubs and myself, BUT we are getting to the excited phase and just hoping all goes well. My son will be 18 months when this one arrives. Nice to meet you all!
Hi everyone! I'm Trista. I'm 29 years old and have a 2 year old son, Tate. My husband, Kai and I are high school sweeties and have been together since we were 16 (and married for just over 4 years now). We have been trying for baby #2 since January and are so excited to finally have him or her on the way!! I am a graphic designer, a huge dog rescue advocate (and have a 4 year old furbaby, Finn, my 100 lbs lab/husky/whatever else mix as well as 3 kitties) and in addition to my crazy life I also sell Jamberry as a fun little side gig.
I look forward to getting to know all of you! I'm super close with all of my July/2013 ladies in our Facebook group and I have to admit I haven't been on the bump since we started it back when were all around 3 months pregnant or so. I will try my best to stop in often to get to know everyone here and keep up to date!

Married to my Best Friend 04.28.11
Hi everyone. First time mom here. I'm a nurse working at an assisted living facility, my husband is an insurance agent. We are 26 and 27. We've been married for 5 years and started trying June 2014. We are Christadelphians.
I have anxiety / cyclothymia ("bipolar lite") and I'm on celexa for those issues, so that's an added worry for my pregnancy.
I'm 8 weeks 5 days, due May 6th, two days after our 6th anniversary!
I really can't wait to start showing and feeling those little kicks. I feel like I've waited my whole life for this! So far pregnancy has been very good to me.
Hello everyone! My name is Alyssa, and I am 24. DH is 31. We are first time parents, and we are pretty nervous! I have been lurking for a couple of weeks because we had a little bit of a scare, but all is good now. We heard the heartbeat yesterday! So amazing! Anyway, good luck to you all. I look forward to getting to know everyone!
I'm a homemaker to one 4 year old boy, one husband, and two cats. We wanted to have more kids by now but put it off because we are living overseas while husband does research and works, and thought that it would be easier to handle a pregnancy on our own turf where we were totally fluent in the language.
Had to take out my IUD because of horribly painful periods and we decided "meh, what are the odds we'll get pregnant right away anyways?" ...a month later aaaand I'm pregnant. Both of us are not so secretly over joyed and can't wait to see our family grow. We might have to go home a month earlier than expected because my due date is when we were supposed to be heading home.
I love love love to cook, sewing, teaching my son about anything he's interested in, and doing yoga/lifting weights/playing soccer. I went to grad school for linguistics (mostly social) as well global social problems (a fun mix of sociology, economics, and anthropology). I like discussing broad ideas and keeping my mind busy
Here's to a happy and healthy 9 months! Congrats on your BFPs ☺️
I'm Charissa and I live in Pretoria, South Africa. Carrying hubby and my first born!
Really nervous about something going wrong! But super excited.
We went off the pill a couple of months back cause we thought it would take a while of trying to get pregnant. BUT like all things concerning hubby and I, it happened fast
His dad passed away in September, and I had a funny feeling then that someone close to the family was going to fall pregnant. Little did I know that it would be me
Hello ladies! I am here from the infertility boards. DH and I were TTC for almost 22 months before we got out BFP. Thankfully with our first round of IUI with injections, we got our BFP! I have my first ultrasound tomorrow at 6.5 weeks and I am very excited and nervous at the same time! I really hope everything checks out okay. I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Hey, I'm the odd person out here since my other half is the pregnant one. This will be our 1st and since I haven't been around kids pretty much at all since my little brother was born I've been spending a lot of time figuring out what to expect and how to handle everything. We've been married for 6 years, together for 8.
Today is the 8 week ultrasound so that should be fun. This will be the second since she went in two weeks ago already because of really bad shoulder pain, but was given a clean bill of health and a heartbeat that was pretty much just a pixel flashing. Maybe we'll see a bit more this time around.
She works IT at a local university, I'm an engineer in an aerospace company here in Charleston, SC. We have an eskimo dog and a cat, and hopefully they'll be able to adapt to the big change somehow. The cat will I think will just stay away but the dog probably won't have a clue what to think.
Hello all! I'm from Texas and I got my BFP with #2 on 9/15, exactly two years after my bfp for DD! I am excited to join another May BMB, I was active in May14 with a different name. H&H 9 months to you all!
Hi! I'm Alana and I'm 7w5d. I have a 7 year old stepson and one angel baby we lost earlier this year. this is my first time being this far along and we are so excited!
I'm excited to introduce myself on here! We found out at yesterday's ultrasound that I'm due on May 9 with baby #2! I don't have a LMP to go by since I have not had one yet (been breastfeeding DD). Our baby girl was born last Oct via C Section and we will have a repeat C section with this one. It was a big surprise, but we are excited!
DH, DD, fur baby and I live in the DC suburbs, but I'm originally from SC.
Unfortunately, I have terrible all day sickness again this pregnancy and am feeling pretty rough. But I know it's a good sign at least!
Hey everyone, my man friend and I have been married since 2013. I'm 28 and so is he, he likes to remind me that I'm two weeks older than him. :> we live in southern Minnesota. We started trying last month and we are one of the lucky ones and got a positive read after the first "try". Our EDD is May 25th. I'm beyond excited to have all summer off to enjoy the awesome Minnesota weather!
Hi peeps!! What to say? I'm 29 and this is my first. My husband and I were trying to wait for the right time but realized we were just getting older... Funny how that works!! Lol somy EDD is 5/25. And I already know I am in WAY over my head. So thanks for being here and sharing I can't tell you what a comfort it is to me!!! :x
Hi ladies! My husband and I are pregnant with our first! We are both 27 and have been married a whopping 4 months! Haha but have been together for 10 years. He's my high school sweetheart We were very lucky and got pregnant on our first try! I'm so excited but naturally very nervous as well. My EDD is May 26th! H&H pregnancies to you all!! :x
Hello ladies! First of all, CONGRATULATIONS to each of you! This is my first post and I have some questions, so I apologize in advance if it is a little overwhelming. I am twenty-eight years old and I have a ten year old son. My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for 6 years. I have severe endometriosis and had laparoscopic surgery last year, in which they found a blocked tube and could not unblock it. Three months after the surgery, I was pregnant.
Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum and miscarried at 10 weeks. Since then, we have seen a fertility specialist and undergone one IUI which was unsuccessful. That was about four months ago. We went on a trip to Disney world the week before last and decided to discuss our options once we got home. We were either going to save up for IVF or I was going to have the laparoscopic surgery again. I was very nauseous the entire trip and my breasts were KILLING me. I chalked it up to being on my feet for 12 hours a day in the heat and riding rides.
My period was due that week but never came. Again, I chalked it up to my body reacting to me being so active the entire week and figured it would come a little late. By the time we got home, I was 2 or 3 days late and decided to take a test for the hell of it. 10 tests later, we had nothing but POSITIVES. Can you say, MIRACLE? That's definitely what it is. So, my fiancé has been very worried and didn't want to get his hopes up but I am just too excited and want to remain positive. We went to our first appointment yesterday and had an Ultrasound. According to my last period, I should be around 5 weeks and 3 days.
The ultrasound showed two gestational sacs with one yolk sac. My GYNO was called into emergency delivery so she sort of rushed me through explaining what she saw, which really irritated me. The U/S tech said that I have a slightly tilted uterus and the two sacs could either be twins, and one is developing slower than the other, or some type of blood filled sac, which is no threat to the baby. The doctor said for me to not even think about twins because she's almost positive it's a blood filled sac. She also said that the other sac which contains the yolk sac is not perfectly round which concerns her. I did my first beta yesterday and go back in 48 hours.
My next U/S is Tuesday which will still only put me at 6 weeks and two days. My fiancé is worried that the healthier sac is abnormally shaped. Has anyone experienced any of these things? We most definitely want ONE healthy baby but would be ecstatic if there are two. It really upsets me that she didn't even discuss the possibility of twins. I have read plenty of forums where the twin just develops later, even after being diagnosed a bleed. Sorry this is so long. I don't want to leave anything out or stress myself out over it! Thanks in advance.
I am Taylor, 22, and I live in Portland. My boyfriend and I have been living together with his six-year-old daughter for just over two years. We weren't trying, and we actually thought maybe I couldn't conceive due to my endometriosis, but are absolutely ecstatic that our family will be expanding! It seems like such a miracle.
He is such a sweetheart; within an hour of finding out after my BFP on Wednesday, he proposed to me and is now my fiance. We will be doing a courthouse wedding in a few weeks and then having a big, fancy wedding with all our friends and family a few months after the little one arrives.
I'm only 5 weeks and 5 days along, so I know it's way too early to tell, but I have a strong feeling it's a girl. Really excited to find out.
@KnitPearl Congratulations on the pregnancy AND the engagement! That is awesome. My brother just moved to Portland! I'm debating on making a trip in December to go visit. I miss him like crazy.

I'm Ariana, 23 years old, and living in the beautiful sunshine state of Florida. I am currently a nursing student and will be finishing up this December (so glad I will be able to graduate before this baby comes along!).
I am 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant and this will be my first child (totally unexpected). I notice many women have had difficulties getting pregnant or have experienced losses, which breaks my heart but also makes me feel very blessed. This pregnancy has been a lot for me- always feeling nauseous and I got an anal fissure (the most painful thing). I also am finishing up clinicals and my practicum so I am almost always exhausted. I am hoping to get my energy back soon!
I have a supportive boyfriend, family, and friends which I thank God for but it still would be nice to speak to other women going through if not the same thing something similar.
Hi all. My name is Nicole, I'm 27 and my husband is 32. We live in Fort Worth Texas with my husbands son who is 6, our two cats (Frank and Colby) and our German shepherd, Delilah. Just found out last Tuesday I am pregnant. My husband and I married in February of 2015. We weren't necessarily trying to expand the family just yet, but are very excited. I believe I am around 6 weeks with expected due date of May 25th. Very nervous but excited at the same time, it seems I experience a different emotion every hour. Looking forward to meeting everyone
Hi ladies this is my hubby and I's 5th child. We have a 12 year old boy, 9 year old boy, we tragically lost out 2 1/2 year old son almost 2 years ago, we have a 13 month old daughter who has been our families amazing blessing and now we cannot wait to meet baby number 5. I am due May 13th. I have never been on one of these boards but I'm excited to try it with our last baby!
