I thought I had already introduced myself, but it's looking like I didn't... so better late than never. My name is Jen and I live in the Kansas City area. I'm 36, and so is my husband. We had a miscarriage August 2014 and weren't sure we were going to be able to get pregnant again, but found out we were expecting again in August of 2015. I was a nervous wreck until about the 20 week mark, but am feeling much less anxious now that I am 27 weeks and feeling lots of movement! Due May 12th with a boy. This will be my first, and my husband's 2nd. He has a 14 year old daughter from a previous relationship.
My names Alexis. I am 21 and 27 wks. I am having a little girl and her name is Chloe! She will be only 11 months younger than her older brother! Can't wait to have a set of Irish twins. Note to other ladies. Wait the 6 weeks before getting "back into action" being pregnant for what feels like 2 years straight, sucks. Lol
Hi all! I'm Nickey (36) and I live in Connecticut and am a SAHM to our 3.5 year old daughter. My H is 40 and it took us over two years to get our BFP. We had secondary infertility and found out I had 26 fibroids in my uterus and blocking a tube plus my DH found out he had no sperm which was surprising because we conceived easily with DD. Long story short, H had testicular cancer when he was 20yrs old, froze sperm before his radiation treatment, so we shipped it from the Midwest to CT and after I healed from my surgery in April we did 2 IUIs and had success the second time. We are expecting a baby boy on May 23rd!
ME: 35 DH: 39
Married July 2011
DD Born 8/12
TTC #2 since 11/13
ME: Submucosal Fibroid Surgery Date APRIL 14th 2015 -Left Tube is blocked by Fibroid~Surgeon removed 26 Fibroids from my Ute and Unblocked my Tube
DH:Azoospermia...Thank God we have 12 vials of frozen swimmers
This is way late, but I realized that I never officially introduced myself on this thread!
I'm Kylee, an assistant pre-k teacher living in the midwest. My husband and I are both 23, and were married in June 2014 after knowing one another since elementary school. We we thrilled to learn I was pregnant, and are awaiting the arrival of our first child due May 18th, a baby girl we affectionately refer to as "Baby A."
Hi May Mommas! I've been in the June board (due date June 4th) but at my last appointment found out I'm measuring a week early and might be having a May baby (current estimated due date May 28th) instead. So I figured I would introduce myself and join this board too!!
So here's a bit about me: 28. Happily married. Two spoiled cats. FTM expecting a boy. Working part time as a nanny until the baby comes then I'll probably be a SAHM but might get a part time job a few nights a week. Love reading, writing, anything diy/craft/art related, camping, kayaking, action movies and getting pedicures.
Hi, I'm Crystal. I guess I'm a rainbow baby mama as well (I only just learned the term maybe two weeks ago). I'm 30, hubby is 33. I'm 28 weeks with our first. Have a black lab/shepherd mix named Siobhan (aka Sioby). EDD is May 23. Ummm... Oh, we are having a girl.
Hi..I've been a lurker for a few months. I'm 38 and DH of 14 yrs and I expecting baby #4 5/8. My other children are 18, 13 and 11. I feel like a FTM and pray it all comes back to me.
My name is Ashley im now 35 wks pregnant with our second baby. Im 22 yrs old and live in NC. My husband Zach and I have been married for 3 yrs. We are from TX but in NC because my husband is military hopefully medically retiring this year. We have a 3 yr old son named Raymond Jay. Cant wait to meet our little (or not so little) Sophia in 4 weeks! (Sophia's measuring larger than average. Our son was 9 lbs 9 oz)
Hi all. Not exactly a lurker - I've posted a few times over the last 2 months or so - but I never did the intro! One reason for that is that we tried so so hard for so so long for this baby (3 years, 3 clomids, 6 iuis, MMC, 5 ivfs, CP, ivf #6=BFP) that I've become very anxious about acting as though this is actually happening. Seeing as I'm due in a month (EDD 5/23), I thought I'd finally give it a go: I'm Jen, live in NYC in a one bedroom with my husband of 5.5 years and our giant, spoiled whale of a maine coon mix...and soon, our little girl! Thanks for the advice and community of the last couple of months and good luck to you all for the weeks, months and years ahead!
I have already posted around, but failed to ever introduce myself. My name is Jessica and I am 26. I am a writer and Social Service Aide for DYS in MO. I'm also a huge nerd for fantasy and art.
I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy May 5 at 8lbs 13oz and 21". He was a week late, but that didn't matter. I was happy to hold him for the first time and didn't realize you could fall so completely in love with something like this. For awhile, I struggled a bit with disappointment from my failed vaginal delivery. We ended up having a C-Section. I have, mostly, come to terms with that and feel better. This board was a huge part in the help there.
Hello my name is Terena ... I am a mommy of 3 my oldest daughter is 8. My middle daughter is 2 and my newborn is 12 weeks old... I am 28 & married but going through a separation.. I'm Jacki! I'm 28 and live in NY with my husband. I got my BFP last Saturday! This is my first pregnancy and I am super excited! We have been married for 2 years and started started TTC last month. We made the decision to wait 1 -2 years before TTC to give time to each other and our relationship. I am so happy we did! I honestly couldn't believe that I was pregnant when I found out, but 10+ tests and lines were getting darker.
Our first appointment is in mid October. I am not sure I can wait that long to make sure everything is going well.
I am looking forward to having this community of support over the next 9 months!
