Hello!! I'm Kayla and I'm 23! I'm engaged and getting married Aug 2016. Together we have a DD, my Feb 2014 baby. I'm a stay at home mom and have a small craft business out of my home. I also teach fitness classes...more as a hobby rather than a job I am super excited about my May baby due May 12th!
You are the closest to my age. I feel like everyone on here is 27+ I'm 21 married for 2 years and due may 15th. Unplanned but excited. Congrats on the engagement and pregnancy.
Hi! My name is Lydia! I am 22 and my husband is 26. This is our first and we have already spilled the beans to both of our families (he/she is the first grandchild.) I plan to be a SAHM and my husband is almost done with his PhD along with preaching full-time so he is a busy guy. Haha I got my positive at 3 weeks and 5 days and it was super dark and immediate which makes me wonder if I farther alone than I think I am, but if not my EDD is May 13th!
Where are you guys from? I'm 21 and married for 2 years. I'm due may 15th.
Yay May babies!!!! Using the baby birth day calculator I'm scheduled for may 15, 2016 which ironically will be my husband and i's first wedding aniversary! We tried for about three months before it happened! I actually found out 4 days before my missed period. My mom's concerned that it might be twins since I had symptoms really early. The most thing happening right now is back pain!!! Hopefully this doesn't last the entire 9 months! Going to our first apt thus Wednesday! But it's just with the nurse practiioner so prob no ultrasound!
We have the same due date!! Yay!! My mom Says the same about me cause my tummy is bloated and I have a lot of symptoms early and my first appointment is Wednesday also.
::the bump hates me already and didn't save my intro::
Hey-oh! I'm Randi. BFP at 4:30 this morning. Was SO convinced that I wasn't pregnant, but after two dreams that I had positive tests, I decided to test to turn my brain off. The test turned before I could wipe the pee off! So, here we are! Yay! I am 27, SAHM to DS (21 months). DH is a PA. We live in Texas. (Yeah, Texas!) I love Jesus, family, photography, Texas Tech football, sarcasm, good food, good wine, good books, and good conversation! Looking forward to hanging with you guys!
This is my 1st pregnancy and I'll be 27 this week. My husband and I are super excited and I'm also super nauseous.
My due date is 05/07/2016 and I'm 6 weeks. Any advice for the nausea? It ramped up significantly between week 5 and 6 and with 6 weeks left in my first trimester I'm assuming it'll get worse.
Oh any military spouses here? My husband will probably miss the last half of my pregnancy and looking for some support.

I kept having dreams for a week saying I had positive tests, and I did the same thing! BFP! Haha
Hello all! I'm Meghan, 23, living in San Diego. This is baby number one. Never have I ever had so much as a pregnancy scare! DH and I planned on building our family in 3 or 4 years, but the universe didn't agree with our plan, obviously! Oh well, I'm terribly excited none the less. Due date is three days before DH's b-day! Nervous, but feeling confident. This IS what we females do best, after all! Congratulations to everyone having May babies! You are all amazing creatures! Stay confident and stay proud!
@dthomas112 military spouse here! Hubby is scheduled to be deployed before my due date, so I may be in the same boat as you! Let's hope he can sweet talk his higher-ups to postpone it or something! :-SS
Hello! So excited to have someone to tell... We're waiting to tell friends and family, but I got my first ever BFP last Friday!! I had a beta test, with an HCG level of 46. Went back Monday and got a level of 206. Grow, baby, grow!! Went in again today, still waiting to hear back on those results. Hopefully they'll be good as well and I can call my OB to make my first appointment. The internet calculators tell me that my due date is May 21, but being my first, I don't know if the OB will adjust that or not.
I'm just beside myself at this point. Not entirely sure if I believe it or not. My husband is so excited, as well, and suddenly very protective of me, hahaha. It's adorable. We are equal parts ecstatic and terrified, lol. I just can hardly believe that it's real!!!
My name is Amanda, I'm 27 DH is 28. We had been TTC for 3 months and this will be our first. We are from Wisconsin. I work as a Graphic Designer/Photographer. FF has my EDD as May 30th.
My name is Destiny. I got my BFP about a week and a half ago. I've been lurking for a while because I had a MC in July. I'm just a little apprehensive and was waiting for my first appt, which will be today, and for the symptoms to really kick in. Currently, I'm nursing as much ginger as I can get my hands on with no motivation to work My SO and I are very excited. We both work full time. And fingers crossed he's got some good news up his sleeve in the coming month!
Hi! I'm Sam and my hubs is Tom. We live in the Hudson Valley region of New York. We were married 1 year in August when we started trying to conceive. This is our first pregnancy and we're counting our blessings as it was our first try. We're both very excited as the pregnancy continues to learn more about our little one on the way!
Hello All! My name is Tasha and I am 32 yrs old! DH is 33. We are approaching our 2 yr anniversary this Sunday and live in McKinney, TX! We received our BFP on Sept 5th making our EDD May 8, 2016 so I am around 6 wks and 3 days. We are stoked but honestly I am trying not to get too excited because we experienced a missed miscarriage last summer and it left me devastated. Last year I also found out I had several large fibroids and went through an open myomectomy to have them removed. 2014 was a rough year! We got the clear 6 months after the surgery to begin trying again, so it took us about 4 months to get a BFP. Because of the surgery, I will almost 100% have to deliver via csection a week before our due date. I'm just taking things one day at a time and praying for a successful pregnancy this go around! We are thankful that God is giving us a second chance to become parents!! Congrats to you all!
My name is Melody, and I live in Round Rock, Texas. DH and I have been married for four years, and after over three years of trying and one devastating loss we looked into fertility treatment. I had a myomectomy in July for a large fibroid and started my fertility stims in late Aug. After 11 days of shots twice a day I went in for a routine ultra sound two days prior to my scheduled egg retrieval and found out we had conceived naturally prior to starting the stim shots! I was five weeks pregnant. We were shocked, happy, and scared all at once. We were told we had little to no chance of conceiving on our own,and I was never put on birth control prior to starting my IVF cycle. My doctor said this is a first for him. Doctors have assured us the stim shots will have no negative affects on the baby, and I pray everyday they are right. They have changed my treatment from fertility to supporting the pregnancy with oral medication and suppositories. Blood work yesterday looked great. Numbers are all climbing. I'm still a nervous wreck everyday, and expect that won't change until the second trimester, but I'm staying positive. Reading everyone's stories helps me in my down time. Thank you all for sharing, and good luck!
I'm so excited to finally be able to post on here!!! So, my name is Erin. I'm 30 years old and from Connecticut. We found out we are expecting 2 weeks ago with number 3! This was both a surprise and planned, but we are so very excited. We have 2 other boys, who are 6 and 8 years old, and they don't know yet! We are being so patient, waiting until our appointment on Sept 30. Our current EDD is May 11. Otherwise, I'm a SAHM/blogger/beachbody coach/whatever else I have to do I can't wait to keep reading and share in our journey with everyone on here. I haven't been pregnant in over 6 years so this is incredibly exciting and nerve-wracking all over again!
This will be my second baby. I have a 5 month old boy...so I'm due only weeks after his first birthday @-) however, I'm excited that they will be close in age to always keep each other company. I'm both excited and worried. Not sure how I'll handle two little ones. Also, hoping for another boy. Of course if it's a girl I won't be upset at all.
@christianmom83 you should know that the term "baby dust" is not considered appropriate here on TB. Some women with losses have cremated their babies, and this can upset them.
My name is Heather! I'm from MD I just got a BFP about 5 days ago! I haven't had my first appt yet but from online pregnancy calculators I think I'm due May 21, 2016!! My husband and I are excited! This is our second! Our son just turned 4 last week. We haven't told anyone yet, I'm thinking we'll announce on Halloween!
Hello ladies! My name is Amanda. I have a son who will be two this Thanksgiving. I got my first positive test tonight after work. I'm very excited to be able to share this journey with you.
Hi all! I am 27 years old and found out a few weeks ago that I am pregnant! I will be 7 weeks tomorrow. I am a teacher and my husband is an ER physician. We had been trying for a while and with help of Clomid, we are pregnant! We are so excited to meet our little one (possibly littles oneS)! Anyone else use Clomid on here?
Hey. Yeah my husband will miss the last half of the second trimester and my entire third trimester due to deployment. So we are both trying to enjoy it while he is here though that just means him worrying because I'm nauseous and vomiting literally everyday.
Hopefully your husband can sweet talk them. I'm sure you'd both be happy if he could @roaringzeebra
I'm Ashley! I'm 23. Will be 24 in February. SO and I have been together for a year and a half and have lived together for a year now.
This is our first for the both of us and was planned though we didn't think it would happen so quick. Lol
My EDD is May 13th according to start of my last period which would make me 5w6d. According to day I ovulated, im a week further so we'll see. And yes May 13th falls on a Friday. lol.
I live in in Eastern North Carolina. 1.5 hours from the beaches. I have a dog and 9 nieces and nephews. Hopefully they have prepared me as good as I can be prepared, anyway.
Love the whole board idea & stuff! Can't wait to get to know some of you guys! Week so exciting! Good luck everyone!
Hi Everyone, My name is Krista ( 31) and have been married to my husband Matt (35) for 5 years. This is our second child as we already have a rambuncious 2.5 year old. Looking forward to getting to know you over the next couple of months! I still talk to the mommy group from my first pregnancy and it has been quite a journey of hearing others' successes and challenges.
Hello! I'm jumping over from TTGP. I'm 29 and DH is 30. We have been married a year in October. We were trying for 3 months and are so excited! This will be our first. Can't wait to get to know you ladies!
Hi. I'm Nicola and I have a lovely little girl who is about to turn 2 and have been trying for another since April. First cycle trying we conceived however that pregnancy ended in a mmc on the 24th July.
Started trying again after having my first period and got a positive yesterday (faint line on a internet test) and today we got a positive on a Clearblue Digital.
I know it's still really early days but taking it one week at time. Currently can't wait to get to the date my period is due as I've never tested this early before so don't know what the chances of a chemical pregnancy are.
So excited but also so nervous. Looking forward to a happy and health 9 months with you ladies x
Hi all. I just had my first u/s yesterday and it gives us a due date of May 3. Based on last LMP it "should be" April 30, but I know I ovulated late so I think the May 3 date is right.
Either way, I figure I'll introduce myself and pop back and forth between April and May.
DH and I already have 2 boys, ages 5 and 3. We're looking forward to #3 and hope to spend a happy and healthy 9 mo with everyone here.
Congrats to all you ladies! I recognize some of you from TTGP - yay!!
HELLO everyone! my name is Julie I'm 22 and me and my husband to be (were getting married October 24th) Found out about a week and half ago that we are expecting our first child!!! I'm really excited a little nervous and ready for an ultrasound so I know everything Is going good, I'm you ladies can relate!!! We live in the VA for now, I'm excited to make some mommy friends!! And I'm excited for may!!
@dthomas112 I'm sorry your husband won't be there for most of your pregnancy. Mine is also leaving on a 1 year tour, and will miss everything including the first appointment all the way to birth So if you need anyone to chat with about things, feel free to PM me!
Hi! I am 24, DH and I have been married 1yr 4 mo. We are expecting baby numero uno!
I'll be honest, we weren't actively trying. I was using NFP - (temping, CM, CP, etc.) -I have been religious about this method and have been doing it over 24 cycles. I had ovulated on CD 17 (which is norm for me) based on CP, CM, and temping- well my temp didn't rise AS much but it still showed a bi-phasic pattern. So on CD 2, the temp dropped and I was like, "cool we're in the clear." We BDd on CD 22....on CD 24 my temp shot up even more so than last time. :-O And knowing how long sperm likes to chill out in fertile quality CM (sorry if this is TMI), but I just knew they were just there waiting. 8-> So I'm not sure if something got jacked up or if I ovulated twice last month, however I got my first BFP on 11 DPO which was pretty faint and the second BFP this am, 16DPO and there was no questioning that one. Ha! No symptoms other than swollen/tender breasts, indigestion/heartburn, and missed period. My first appointment is scheduled for 10/6 where they'll do an US and additional blood work. Here we go!!!
We are excited yet freaking out at the same time. Even though we are currently in a stable position to have a baby, it is still happening a year earlier than we planned. My mom had 3 early miscarriages and I remember how heartbroken everyone was finding out so we are waiting to tell our fam around Thanksgiving which will put me around 12wks. Something like "This Thanksgiving, the turkey isn't the only thing in the oven!" \:D/
Anyway, fun facts! >> Pretty sure we conceived on the anniversary of the day we met (5 years ago)! AND baby will be due around our 2yr anniversary. >>cue the "awwww"s.<< :x :x
Im Megan and 27 and H is 29. We recently celebrated our 2 yr wedding anniversary and this November makes 9 years together. This is our first child. I was charting for 4mo. but only had 2 cycles. So excited to be over here with you ladies
Joining from TTGP along with a few other ladies today! I'm Kristen, I'm 33, DH is 35. We have a 2 year old DS and 4 year old DD who has special needs. Very excited to be here and get to know you all, and happy to see of the TTGP's over here too!
I am Elizabeth. I am 36 and pregnant with our second little one. I have a son who is 2.5 and we have been dealing with Secondary Infertility for the last 1.5 years so we are excited to finally be here! My fingers are crossed all will go well and I am waiting on an ultrasound next week to see if I'm having twins...we have one with a heartbeat and a second sack that implanted so I'm excited to see what next week brings.
I am happy to join you all! At this point, my EDD is 5/20. While DH and I have gone through a few losses, we are also lucky enough to have our 2.5 year old son. Here's hoping things go well and I can hang out with you for the next 8+ months!
Hi, my name is Stephanie. I just got my first positive this past Sunday (which was 5 days before my missed period), so I'm still a little anxious about it all. I'm still a day away from when it's supposed to start. Anyway, this will be my second baby and we've been TTC for the past 5 months. I'm super excited, but it's just so early! I'll feel more confident in a couple weeks!
Hi everyone! My name's Jenna, I'm 19 soon to be 20 years old. My husband is in the Air Force and we're currently residing in California. We have a 3 month old puppy Ollie, who is going to need LOTS of training before this baby is born! We had a loss last month at 5 weeks and 3 days and we're ecstatic that we were able to conceive again our first cycle. EDD is May 21st and prayers would be appreciated for a healthy, full term baby! It's so hard not to feel scared that this could end in another miscarriage but being in this board is already giving me hope and excitement for the future
