I used clear blue. The control window showed me what to look for. One line for negative and crossing lines for positive. I tested on the day of my period because I just knew especially after spotting a few days earlier. Those lines showed up instantly and definitely no wondering necessary:)
I used FRER and FR rapid result (accidentally bought this) all 4 have faint pink lines, period is due Mon. I'm thinking of getting a digital tomorrow before I make an appt with my doctor.
I used a Wondfo and got a very, very faint positive. Retested with a Clear Blue and got a BFP. The next day, I tested again with a Clear blue, FRER and Up&Up digital.
ETA: These were taken 2 days before my period and approx. 10dpo
Here is a simple solution. Buy first response. It says YES or NO.
I agree. Buy something more expensive with a more definite answer. If you're really wanting an answer asap, you can go to a walk-in-clinic if your doctor won't perform a pregnancy test for you. In Canada, healthcare is covered so it doesn't cost me to go to a clinic and have one done. And the answer is definite. Also it's impossible to get a false positive because a test measures HCG hormones in your body. These hormones are only present when you're pregnant. So if you end up testing positive, then find out later you aren't pregnant, you could have had an early miscarriage which is very common and is called a blighted ovum very early on.
I went through 2 regular sticks which showed only a line. It was FAR easier to determine NOT than PREGNANT. So I have only purchased digital tests which say NOT PREGNANT or PREGNANT to make it easier on myself. Now...if they would just stop reading pregnant.... :P
After TTC for 6 months I purchased a package of 100 ovulation sticks and 50 pregnancy tests off Amazon. Of course first month using them I conceived! I tested daily from 10 DPO and the lines were faint but visible then the line looked like this 14 DPO. I'm still peeing on them because I'm a little in disbelief...lol!
I started a blog to document my pregnancy and todays post is all about the positive pregnancy test. Check it out! [link removed by moderator for violating TOU - please don't spam the boards]
I used a Riteaid brand a few days after my missed period. Took no time at all to show positive. Supposedly the box says it works 5 days sooner than the regular ones. Worked for me
I purchased the dollar store tests...started showing a VERY faint line at 7 days PO. The line started getting darker the closer I was to my missed period.
This is mine at 7 weeks. I didn't find out until today that I was even pregnant!! But I do know that what I thought was a 2 day period last month wasn't even a period because that is very short for me! This is a pregnancy test from the dollar tree and results showed immediately .

You might want to retest with a pregnancy test because that is an ovulation test

I took 2 and one showed positive (walgreens brand) and the other negitive (1st responce) i am 7 days late! I have an appointment on Tuesday... am I carzy or am I prego!?
The blue dye tests have a bad rep of giving false positives. But I hope you are pregnant and the doctor's visit goes well.
Here it is! I usually use the digital test but I had a package of these in the bathroom I tested the day before and it was a flat out negative!! Next morning I was shocked to see this!!!! I tested the day of my missed period and got this faint positive. I tested again two days later and it was dark and easier to read!
I used two 1st response test that came up with a BFP almost immediately and then I used a clearblue digital test the same afternoon just to triple check and the result was the same...I'm only 4 weeks 3 days!
I am 1 day late around 14-15dpo have been testing with wondfos all negatives woke up today and not sure if my mind is playing tricks on me with a frer not sure what to think ? Is this a faint line ?
