Morning everyone! wow its taken me an hour to catch up!

Looks like I'm getting an MRI of my lower back. Ever since the spinal (so 5 months ago) I've been getting numbness across the top of my feet, particularly the right one. Finally saw my GP the other day who referred me to get images. As a Radiographer, having to get imaging really sux, but at least I know what to expect. And it will mean taking a day off work because the hospital is 2 hours away! grrr. 

I also saw the Physiotherapist yesterday who confirmed that yes I have some muscular tension, but I definitely have nerve involvement as well. So this should be interesting.

Thanks! its more annoying than anything and TBH I don't actually expect anything to come of it, I'll admit I'm a jaded health professional . 

Oh and the physio guy told me I can only do side nursing now. It's sitting in bed nursing that's causing my muscles to be tense. I hate side nursing but I'm sure we will get used to it. Anyone have any tips? I am a larger girl so you think it would be easy but its a PITA!

I'm comparing CT with plain imaging and Nuclear Medicine, so need examples on what PE looks like on CT, as well as the others, and because of where I work, I don't have a bank of patients to work from that I know have PE, hence relying on database searches.

I'll get there, I'm always incredibly slow with my searches to start with, then I get one or 2 good articles and I'm away.

Oh AW moment, I got 82% for my first assignment that's worth 25%. Go me!

This is my "really pretty and would have to consider buying if there was a good deal and I had any spare cash for a second wrap" list: Snow Flame Orchid DW or LOVE Snow Rainbow Northern Lights Natural Momma Medio Deag Cuervo fiachgrat rainbow dreamer Capitain Symphuo Diamond Medio Juxtapose Cuervo Herringbone Parrot Cay Wrappers Paradise In no particular order. And they are all over the place color-wise. Snow Flame is my #1, and then Parrot Cay has really caught my eye.

Those are all awesome!  I think I'm going to tell her mostly greens with some brown.  Foresty, I guess.  She has to finish a few things first, so it might be a while, but I don't care!

So a girl I went to elementary school with has an almost 1 year old. When he was about 4 months she was letting him "eat" soft serve ice cream. I silently judged. There has been some other things posted that I shake my head at and scroll past. Today she posts a photo of her 11 month old drinking keva juice out of a bottle in his forward facing in his car seat. I'll never have enough time or cares to learn the whole contouring thing. Like first you look like a tiger then a blend here and a blend there.. Poof you have cheekbones and you're skin is flawless.
