I'm sorry you're back on bed rest. I hope your peanut stays put for much longer and greets the world sometime in late March at the earliest, a cute little, screaming, wriggling mass of pure awesome cuteness.

We are currently sitting in the turned-off car in our driveway. I'm loitering on here and my kiddo has crawled into the front passenger seat, buckled himself in, and is playing with the buttons that adjust the seat up/down and forward/back. He thinks it's the best toy ever. I'm actually kind of enjoying this
I did that once and a nosey neighbor yelled at me for not having DD in the back seat. I'm like ummm she was when the car was MOVING. Now were just playing while we wait for her dad! Geeeez!
DD was sitting on my lap reading this morning and the baby clearly kicked her in the back. It was the first time she felt it. She stood up with her eyes hugggge, grabbed my belly and started shouting "oh my gosh baby I felt you do that!" It was hilarious and we were in the middle of a very quiet waiting room.
Why are the two tartest apples the two most expensive right now? Cranky.
Because the world is against us. For a while, apples were the only thing I could eat and not feel instantly awful from. It got expensive around here, lol.

Is it just me or do normal foods that you've had a million times before suddenly taste eleventy billion times better than they used to?? In the first tri nothing tasted right to me, but all of a sudden everything is freaking delicious!!! I am pretty sure I just had a French fry induced orgasm.

I am so incredibly excited for my son's dance recital tonight. The academy is being so professional about this presentation...and I'm expecting it be be hilarious. It's only my son and one little girl in the dance class and how serious can it be when he is only 21 months?! The teacher said we would have a sneak peek of of their dance for the big spring recital. She also told me another day that their big dance would be them spinning in circles with scarves. So what is a sneak peek? Half a circle? I plan on taking tons of pics and videos..and my husband is leaving work early for it.
My MIL just called to back out of Thanksgiving at my Mom's house and asked if we could possibly change our plans for Thursday? Nope, but we'll see you on Friday and we can do a 2nd Thanksgiving. My Mom is a widow, I'm sure as shit not leaving her alone on Thanksgiving. Holidays are tough enough without my Dad around, I don't need extra drama.
I really should go mop the kitchen floor because that cute dog of my tracked dirt inside and spilled his water all over. I dried it up but now there is a like a gritty film in one spot.

Ever since I could grasp what motherhood was, I've wanted nothing more than the chance to be a mom. In high school and college, everyone was planning and training to start their dream careers and I never wanted any of that - I only wanted to be a mom. I thought for a while that it would never happen because of numerous unsolved problems with my ovaries that just kept coming back, no matter what we tried. I still don't know exactly how, but it finally happened for us! It's been a weird and long journey to this point but I can honestly say I have never been this happy in my whole life. It's really starting to set in. I'm finally going to be a mom! This baby isn't even here yet and he/she is already the best thing that's ever happened to me!!!

I have an issue with finding a TV show I like, and then proceeding to watch it ALL and then watch it all again... All while annoying DH... and I don't want to stop. And I don't have too. Thank you Netflix, amazon and iTunes, lol.

@colleenswerb my cervix is shorting it went from 4cm to 2.7 in two weeks. The average is 3cm They want to do a recheck Monday and possibly a stitch. But it's bed rest until then. But the positive is babe looks great!
I'm hungry, and I should be leaving work to go get lunch right now, but it is really cold out and I'm not looking forward to sitting in my car until it warms up.
