Ok, someone posted this in M14. I can offically say this is the single CREEPIEST thing I have seen on the interwebs...just so much wrong with this I can't even begin...

Sooo I just made a Pinterest after trying to stay away from adding another social media site. You ladies are influential. I'm Miss504NOLA on there as well.
Update: things are awkward with DH after trying to talk on Saturday and again tonight. We are both so different--he is so calm and stoic while my main emotion is crying (sad, happy, angry, whatever). I think I just make him uncomfortable when I try to express my feelings, which makes me cry on top of all these pregnancy hormones. I even cried watching some Nancy Kerrigan documentary today. Oh the joys of pregnancy!
Spent today doing laundry and cleaning. Today was the first day LO played with me--every time I pushed down on my belly, he'd kick as soon as I took my hand away. SO COOL!!!

I just explained man sick to DH.... Did I break girl code?
Apparently. DH gets man sick and when I slipped up and mentioned he had a man cold once he got all kinds of butthurt. Dude, I went through morning sickness and didn't take a single day off. You had a cold and took a week off. A man cold is a real thing.

One silver lining I think you will find in the way you and YH process emotion differently as you go on in your marriage and continue to grow together and learn each other is that while at times it can be so dang frustrating when you feel things very openly and get emotional so easily (totally me too), his stoic and calm can be super grounding for you when you go through emotional times together. Differing emotional processes doesn't have to always mean clashing ones.. My hubs keeps my over emotional nature in check just with his (sometimes maddening) practical and logical presence. It took us a long time to figure that out in a way that was loving and productive, but eventually we got to a place where surprisingly enough I have come to appreciate the way his emotional profile balances mine out. Don't get me wrong sometimes I still wanna lose it on him. But don't worry, lady, you two are gonna be just fine.
I just burst out crying in bed tonight and announced to DH that I am SO CRANKY! Poor man was so scared I was going to start yelling at him in bed. Nope, honey, didn't mean to scare you. I'm just so tired of being kicked! It's been nonstop for four days! I feel like an overly ripe peach; if you touch me I'll bruise. And I feel like a jerk for crying and complaining because I know this baby is a blessing and kicks means Peanut is growing well, but I'm just so tired! I feel like I'm getting beaten up and no one can see it but me. At least this means my kid will be a rocket scientist or cure cancer, right? We're supposed to be counting kicks because it means their brains are growing and functioning or something? I can't even count the kicks. There are too many kicks. There are just too many kicks.

Did anyone hear about the woman who drove from Denver to Wisconsin to steal her stepsister's newborn? She faked like she was visiting just to steal him. She faked her pregnancy on social media sites with a prosthetic belly and everything before she did it! 8-}
WHOA WHAT?! I'm in Denver - how did I not hear about this?!?
I am not a DIY person and usually anything that needs to be assembled, I leave for the DH, but I put this beast together and was pretty proud of myself. Cloth diaper stash is ready
I'm late to the Pinterest game but I added most of y'all. My name is NadineL4 in case I missed you. Btw, Pinterest is my second home lol I'm always pinning.
Can't find some ladies on Pinterest, keeps telling me "We couldn't find so-and-so, but here's some holidays, Corgis, and other random stuff!" >.> I'll admit, Corgis are cute as hell, but I want to find people! XD
Also, while I'm posting, I don't have a LB either, came out of my shell a little too late for that train. Plus I'm having a hard enough time keeping up with my own stuff without making sure I'm not too zombified to post for someone that their LO is possibly on the way (though I would like to be helpful!). But now that I feel like people aren't all "Who the fuck are you??" in my general direction, I'll probably post my birth story around here when the time comes. And pictures. A metric shitton of pictures. DH is getting me a new DSLR camera, so I'm going to go apeshit with it, lmao.

OWIE! I woke up in side searing pain - I felt like I had a massive charlie horse under my rib cage on the left side... What the fuck was that all about?
Yea. I'll never understand all the drama around baby showers. Just like I didn't understand all the drama around weddings.
People should be grateful that they have the opportunity to have weddings and having someone that wants to throw them a baby shower. Not to mention, the fact that they found someone to marry and are blessed with carrying a healthy child. To pick it apart and analyze the "proper" etiquette is so strange to me.
No labor buddy for me either I'm not good with commitment of dates/times/etc. I have like a phobia I think lol pathetic! Caboose here too, im going to be sitting there jealous of everyone!

Exactly!! Our wedding was just family and close friends celebrating the fact that two crazy people met, fell in love, and want to spend the rest of our lives together. It was also one of the few chances our families will actually meet in person, because of the distance. Weddings and showers being picked apart by etiquette "experts" drive me mad. And, Martha Stewart is kind of a bitch, so, why would I want to be like her? (Except I admire her ability to fold fitted sheets and I think some of her food is lovely.)
I'm so tired of my back hurting!! I got up way to early this morning because I gave up trying to sleep with the pain. Anyone else? It feels like someone is stabbing me in the back on either side of my spine. The pain makes me sick to my stomach. All my dr said was take Tylenol but that is clearly not working.

I have this also. Swimming has helped immensely, but, I know everyone can't get to a pool. Maybe look up some pregnancy yoga positions for back pain? For me, its the lack of ability to move in to any position at night that makes my back go wild with muscle spasms and pain.

I can fold fitted sheets (if by fold you mean roll into a ball and stuff into the closet).
I think it's hilarious how people get so up in arms over etiquette and men could care less. DH got an invite from a buddy from work to go to his diaper party. The top of the invite has a pampers logo and a bud light logo. The message says "You bring the diapers, we bring the beer!" And then at the bottom it says "(pampers only please... And seriously don't be a cheap ass, I'm having a kid). All while printed on a piece of computer paper as if the whole thing was made on paint.

I don't think the words tacky or etiquette are even in my husband's vocabulary.

I have a labor buddy question. I was under the impression that your lb let everyone know when you were in labor and gave a few updates in the same thread but you actually posted your own birth story with pictures. I stalk the other birth stories and it seems like I have seen it done that way alot. That's ok right??
Yeah, I assume I wouldn't have to type out my born story for her to post. I think they're just there to let everyone know when the baby is coming and when it has arrived.
How the eff do you fold a fitted sheet? I assumed everyone's linen closets were full of balled up fitted sheets. Dammit, I'm trashy!
Yeah, i saw this on pinterest and tried it, i like the theory but I'm not talented enough to make it work so nicely... mine still ended up in poofy ball form. I have started doing the thing where you put the fitted sheet and flat sheet in the matching pillow case to make little packets and keep all the sets together. That had really helped my linen closet stay more organized.

Guise! I went to the cheese cake factory last night for dinner. It should have been a pregnant lady's dream dinner destination, but I was sick all night. (
At least I brought home a piece of cheesecake for dessert tonight.
Noooooooooooo!

I try hard to fold the fittes sheet but it never works. If you can fold it you can stack it, the flat sheet and pillow case then stuff it all in the other pillow case. It makes for a pretty and organized linen closet. It doesn't work for me though.

This is pretty normal yeah. LBs post updates as they come and Mom posts the story.

Just ridiculous.

Sorry I couldn't read all the posts from yesterday! Napped most of the day because, gues what? SO woke me up at four. Hmph. Grumpy mama over here.
Then I peed on a stick...
What a brat.
Now that's just tacky
I found it hilarious.

I just can't even with the self addressed envelop thread...
