i've heard that if you put tin foil on them it will dissuade them.

It's actually dependent on the cat, some cats hate the foil while some others don't care. I think we are going to try cans first, she hates loud noises.

Yup! 4-5x a day. It's pretty crazy. Dr said its a reassuring sign though because they're practicing rhythmic breathing. Makes me crazy though!!

I always feel like doing laundry is an excellent excuse for watching gobs of television. You have to wait for loads to finish and you can fold clothes while you watch TV. Perfect solution!

I am dreading this! We thought we successfully trained our cats to stay out of the nursery and then came home on Saturday evening to find one of them had been locked inside of it for upwards of 10 hours! Felt terrible....

I remember in the beginning of of this pregnancy I thought 2 days of not washing my hair was wild.. Here I am day 6... Still the same amount of fucks are given though.

Sorry if this has already been covered, I've got 150+ to read and I didn't want to forget.
You can take regular skinny strap tank tops and convert them to nursing tanks really easily. You cut the strap off at the back of the tank. Then you figure out how big of a loop you need to fit the nursing bra clip (that opens the bra cup) through. Then you sew with machine or by hand the strap into a loop and cut the extra off. I've seen tutorials online. Hope this was helpful.

Poor DH. He is working crazy hours today, is having a really tough day, and is coming home to test drive cars with me instead of relaxing which he really needs. I, on the other hand, am being completely lazy. I have a mild headache and backache, so I'm totally being a bum on the couch. I feel bad, but also, I kinda don't. But I wish he weren't so busy.

Oh no... Man sick in the house. DH has the weirdest immune system. He gets "kinda" sick like 6 times then better again. Eventually it always catches up to him... We have no time for this!!!!
I sent him to lay on the couch after work because the sheets are in the wash. Glass of water, giant smoothie.
