We had a great thanksgiving visiting family in Atlanta. It got cold!!! Heading back today to sunny warm sarasota.
We did get our first tooth yesterday!!!!
And Aryssa is not thrilled about the long car ride home.

Last night, dh and I got tipsy after we put the kids down. We snuck out to the garage with the baby monitor and shared a cigar. Winning \m/

So we're watching the Lego movie, since obviously we're adults. It's actually pretty hilarious. 

I'm enjoying a chilly sauv blanc and classy leftovers and I'm getting a foot rub. Don't hate it. 

I totally bought a tiny Christmas tree for LO's room and I can't wait until she wakes up and sees it tomorrow.

We're going to chop down a tree tomorrow or maybe Sunday. I cannnnnnnnnot wait.

My best friend and I started drinking at 3pm. Day drinking is awesome.

Now we are watching Tammy and laughing our asses off.

Ugh I'm at a loss...LO has woken up around this time for 3 nights in a row with a dry, super persistent cough. Only at night and only for a few hours. She can't sleep through it and gets all riled up and snarfy. 

We have a humidifier going in her room. Should I move it near the crib? Right now it's at the other end of the room.

I'm going to try Vicks baby rub on her feet tonight. We just had her in the bathroom with a hot shower running for steam. 

Anything else we can do to help her? I'm going to call the pedi in the morning for suggestions.

I'm so behind on so many posts! Hugs to those who need them, and drinks to those with family's like mine!

Between the driving, the family and the busting around I'm so exhausted and so is DS. DH is in love with the ps4, we did christmas with my mom and DS today, he got a ton of gifts and it's so spoiled.

Also I learned that my great aunt and grandmother have suddenly become homophobes and bigots. Since I last saw them, there's not enough alcohol in the world for those comments.

Oh and my aunts dog bit Carter on the head for no reason. I've never been so angry or have wanted to hurt an anal so badly, it was unprovoked. She told me after the bite that her dog wasn't fond of babies and has bitten my cousin a few times. What the actual fuck.

Um my aunt I guess. I literally wanted to kick that damn dog across the room. I'm still angry. No one bites my baby.

@Shelbysteffens‌ sorry LO was bitten. I would be upset too and she really should have told you that the dog has done it before and definitely put the dog somewhere where he wouldn't be around kids. Glad LO is ok.

Well, we made it though the night- she seems totally fine today. IDK what's going on with this little bald sweet potato. 

Uhm @shelbysteffens I'd be furious!!! I can't even fathom who wouldn't think that was a major big deal. Poor baby!

Feel better @mamrotu73- it is the hardest to be sick with a baby!!! Get well soon. 

Going to Joann's today to get Christmas crafting things, minus a baby. We decided that Saturdays are Dadurdays and LO and DH can hang together all day while Mama does things alone. So amazing.

Thankfully the bite wasn't bad, but my son totally freaks Everytime that dog come anywhere near him. Stupid dog. Even my grumpy old dog has never snapped at DS.

Me too. Ours were on the 15th so I could get them back in time to put them in Christmas cards. Oh well - maybe we lucked out and avoided the craziness. 

I called jc Penney today and they ended up giving me the cd at the sale price. They are canceling my order for the prints too so we just get the cd. Might be worth a shot if you feel like calling!

I shipped my buddy's package on Monday, so I'm surprised she hasn't gotten it yet. :-S And I forgot to send a note again! What's wrong with me!?

@lia619‌ Thank you! And I just pop mine, but if you don't do that, I would recommend witch hazel. Seems to dry out the zit without drying out the skin!

After an intense search I have found matching pj's for the kids! Not easy for a boy and a girl so far apart in age. Not super christmasy but the have penguins on them. Cannot wait for this Christmas morning picture!

My SIL is being admitted to the hospital for a kidney infection. She has a 4.5 month old EBF baby boy, and she asked me if I had any frozen milk he could have. It feels good knowing I can help her out in this way! I feel like a superhero or something. :-B

That's so cool! I don't have much and told her I could pump more, but honestly, I'd rather just nurse him. So much easier. lol It would be kind of strange at first I think, but meh, I'd get over it.

I hope they can get her sorted out too, and it's great you guys are so close you help her and the baby out while she's sick.

It has motivated me to keep a better freezer stash! I had to ask myself what if something happened to me? I would want to ensure Edolie had enough milk!
