Welcome to the Trying To Get Pregnant community! This is a great place to learn about your body, your cycle, and give and get support from other women who are also trying to conceive.
If you are new to TTGP, please feel free to introduce yourself in this thread. For the sake of board organization and minimizing clutter, we ask that you not create a whole new discussion/thread for your intro.*
We highly recommend participating in the daily WTO (waiting to ovulate) and the TWW (two week wait) check-in threads as you move through the different stages of the month. If you happen to hit a roadblock in your TTC journey, we also have a weekly benched/TTA check-in. When you post in those threads for the first time, feel free introduce yourself there as well.
To get started, please read the Ultimate TTGP Guide. It will truly enhance your experience on this board and help you with your TTC journey.
Good luck!
*If you are a reg returning to this board due to a loss, please feel free to post your re-intro on the main page.
Hey hey there! I'm Prim! We have been trying for #3 since 2014. We just now decided to take TTC to the next level beyond "just having sex" at the new year 2016. So charting, OPK & timed sex here we come!
I've been a participant on the bump since 2012. Went through the trimester & birth month boards during my pregnancy with my son in 2012/2013. I have two children ages 2 (my son) & 4 (my daughter).
I'm still Breast Feeding my son. I look forward to getting to know you all.
My husband and I have been ttc #1 since October! I'm fairly new to the whole ttc game since this is our first attempt, but I'm already a believer in temping and all things science thanks to this board.
Looking forward to meeting everyone!

@PrimRoseMama - hey there! I think we were in May '13 BMB together?
***TW loss mentioned**** Hello, I'll re-intro here. I'm KyCat, I'm 34 and DH is 38 (about to turn 39!) We began TTC last April. I was a participant here on TTGP from July until November, when I got my first ever BFP. Unfortunately that pregnancy ended in a loss on December 22. So recently I've started lurking and occasionally commenting here again. I will start participating in the daily WTO/TWW threads again once I hit CD1, whenever that may be.

*TW CP* My DH and I are going into our 5th month of TTC. We started trying at the beginning of September and suffered a chemical pregnancy over New Year's. I'm still recovering emotionally from the CP, but we're still full steam ahead on trying for our take home baby. I've learned so much from this board and am very happy that I found it! I hope everyone's stay here is short and sweet!
ETA: About me - I'm 28 and DH is 29. We have two doggies, and one is a spoiled little princess. The other is just spoiled. I obviously love Doctor Who, and am also a fan of Star Wars, Sherlock, Star Trek TOS, Once Upon a Time, The Big Bang Theory, and I also enjoy non-nerdy shows, too. I tried to start teaching myself to sew about 6 months ago, but haven't spent much time on that recently. I seriously need a hobby, but TTC has been taking up all of my hobby time!
Since I never posted an intro previously, I'm happy to add to this pinned thread.
I joined the Bump about 4 years ago when pregnant with DS. I mainly lurked on the August 2012 BMB, and lurked all through those late night feelings when he was a newborn. Once everyone in my BMB started getting KU again (which felt WAY too fast!), I wasn't in that place at all so I lost interest in the Bump.
So now I am back and TTC baby #2. I got Mirena out in August and have been trying since then. I appreciate all the info and advice from the ladies on this board. I love the daily threads and am usually on the train early in the morning, so happy to start the daily threads when I can.

@PrimRoseMama - hey there! I think we were in May '13 BMB together?
I was July/august13, but I remember you from the trimester boards.
DH and I are currently, as of the final decision yesterday, trying for #2!

**losses mentioned**
I joined the Knot while planning my wedding 5 years ago and lurked the August '13 BMB when I was pregnant with DS. I had a surprise BFP in July and was active on the April '16 BMB, but I had a MMC and d&c in September. Got pregnant again our first cycle trying post-MC, but that ended in a chemical in December. Cue the stressing.
More about me: I love dogs, wine, Mad Men, Parks and Rec, Lost, the beach, gifs and sex.
Hello! I never posted an official into before, but I'll jump in and do it now. DH and I started TTC#1 in July 2015. I turned 35 in August, so we will be looking into medical reasons for not getting KTFU soon. We currently have 2 cats and a dog and are looking to move back to the East Coast this summer. Can't wait to get to know everyone a little better! Since joining TB in November I have learned so much. This place is wonderful!
Hello everyone! I'm 29, my husband is 31, and we have been trying to expand the Sith Empire since August 2015. I enjoy science, technology, and ganking filthy republic noobs on Tatooine. Also, this community is pretty awesome.
Hello everybody! I've lurked here for quite awhile and thought it was about time I made an official intro on the TTGP board. DH and I have been ttc #2 since I had my Mirena removed in August. DD will be 3 in just a couple of weeks. Good luck everyone! Hope we can all get those BFP's soon!
Hi all! I'm 30 and hubby is 29. We are tentatively starting TTC #2 (DS is 2 - Oct. '13) next cycle. Hubby is not 100% on board (claims I only have a sex drive when TTC which is somewhat true), but I think that's the current plan. DS was conceived 10 months after stopping BC with NTNP and very little well-timed sex. Ideally (which doesn't always happen), we would conceive in the next 6 months or so because of my career, but if it doesn't happen I'm pretty sure we'll continue trying. I just started temping, but am having issues with insomnia and lack of solid 3-hour stretches of sleep. I remember the TTC from back in 2012, but I don't know if I was super active, or just a lurker. I was active on the Sept. '13 and Oct. '13 boards....due date was 9/30 or 10/2 depending on who you asked. Still BFing DS 2-3x/day. Cycles returned the week before he turned 1.
Hi! I'll redo my intro as well! I'm 26, DH is 28. We've been married since May 2012. We began TTC#1 in July of 2013. We took a break after 2 years with no success and plan on seeing an RE in April but we decided to give it one more try while we're waiting for April to get here. We have 1 dog named Max.

**TW - Loss Mentioned** Hey there!! I'll redo my intro. I'm 26, DH is 24. We got married in July 2012 and started TTC #1 in September 2015. I had a CP in December and this is my first "cycle" (I haven't had first period post MC). We are currently NTNP until I get my first period post MC, and we are cautiously excited about getting back on the horse.
I introduced myself briefly on a WTO post. After rereading the guidelines post last night, I was thinking about creating and intro thread, but this is here!
I'm almost 24 (February 4!), DH is 25, and we're high school sweet hearts! We have two DDs, 7 and 2 (also a May '13 baby) and we're ttc #3. This is our first time ttc, so this has been a new experience for us! I've been lurking for awhile and have thrown my thoughts in here and there, but I usually get on too late :-(. Anyways, I'm going to try to participate more often. I look forward to getting to know you ladies!
I never officially introduced myself, but I like this format better.
DH (32) and I (almost 30) were married in 2010, and started TTC #1 in June 2015. I've been an active member of the Bump TTGP board since Sept 2015. I have a medical background, so I like all the science behind temping ect. I'm beginning to worry something is wrong though, since I'm ovulating regularly, and our timing has been excellent. We're going to be going in for some testing in a few months. No one in my family, except my SIL's and one of my sisters knows we're TTC so there feels like a lot of pressure from my side of the family, since my parents don't have any grandkids yet.
I'm trying to keep myself busy with hobbies in the meantime; I'm an avid vegetable gardener (last summer we got 120lbs of produce from our 16'x16' garden), I do agility classes with my terrier mix (hoping to start competing this spring) and we love to travel. We spent 2 weeks in France last summer, and I'm hoping we will be able to visit Costa Rica or Spain in the coming year. I also do yoga, bike and love cooking healthy meals.

Hello! I've been lurking for a few weeks and have already learned so much and gotten so much comfort from other people going through the same thing I am. DH and I are both 31 and have been ttc for 8 months. 2 months doing opks and I am going to start temping next cycle if I get a BFN. Ttc can be such rough, lonely journey and there is so much misinformation out there so a site like this is so invaluable. I really look forward to getting to know you all more!
Hi! I've never formally introduced myself either. I'm 28, DH is 30 and we've been married a little over two years. We've been actively TTC #1 since July 2015 with no luck so far. Fx'd for this year! I work in the health care field and we have one fur baby that we treat like a real baby!

Helloo! I never did a full intro myself -- I think I snuck it in another thread, so here we go. DH and I are both 33, we are trying for #1. We have been together for 7 years, married in July 2014, and have been trying since July 2015. We both work in healthcare so our schedules are a little bit crazy, but we make it work. My top loves in life are really good food and travel, which has led to some wonderful vacations full of delicious treats! In the rare occasion that DH and I have time off together, we like to wander around town, try new coffee shops, and find new areas to explore.
Glad to be a part of this community but I hope I'm not here for too much longer!
Hello! I gave a brief intro in TWW once, but figure I'll join the intro club now. I am 29, DH is 33 - have been together ten years and married seven. We have been TTC #2 since Christmas. DS is almost six now. I have actually been a member of nest/TB for eight years now! Crazy. The TTGP and tri boards got me through this process with DS, so it was a no brainer to come back. I'll admit, a lot has changed on these boards since 2009/2010, but I still enjoy it here. Best of luck to all you ladies!
Edited to add: Oh, "special" about me stuff (for lack of better terms, its early!). Duh. I'm a stay at home mom. I like crafts and video games. I read too much...
Oh, this is a fantastic idea! I already introduced myself a while back, but we have so many new members I'll go again. Hello! My husband (turning 29 this month) and I (28) started trying for our first in September 2015. My other post was crazy long so I'll make this one simple: I love food (and if you love food, join the cooking and recipe sharing group! https://forums.thebump.com/group/904-cooking-and-recipe-sharing-lets-talk-food), warm climates (I miss you Florida!), and my three pups. I have a history with domestic violence (my ex was not a stable person), and as a result, have life-long physical injuries and PTSD. I mention this only to let anyone know that if they need to talk I'm a pm away. Seriously, I'm here for you (unless I'm at work, then I'll be here after I get off shift). Now I'm married to a wonderful man and really looking forward to expanding our family to include a little human!
Im 31 and SO is 27, we've been together 2 years and have been TTC since October 2015. This will be our first but we do have a furry cat baby. I work in digital, print & events marketing sales and SO is an Account Manager, we live in the UK. The TTGP board has been a life saver for me and I have been on here daily (several times per day) since joining. Good luck all
Well I've done an intro post before, but sadly that was awhile ago at this point! DH and I were married in May 2015 and we've been together for 4.5 wonderful years. I've known for basically my whole life that being a mother was so important to me, but I honestly couldn't picture myself IRL being pregnant, giving birth, and raising children until the past year or so. I just finished grad school last summer and started my new job immediately, so DH and I planned to wait until I would quality for FMLA (end of October) and start trying. I stopped BCP a few months ahead of time to try to prepare my body, and I'm so glad I did. Admittedly, after all that planning and waiting, I did think it would happen right away. But the first cycle we were NTNP and probably missed my FW, and then the next month my doctor found a polyp that needed to be removed and I was benched during FW, which was extremely difficult. Last cycle was our first real shot, and man did I let my anxiety get the best of me! I'm now focusing on actively working on staying relaxed and not allowing myself to freak out over doing this perfectly. I have learned so much from this board and TCOYF, I was clueless before!! I am so grateful to have the place to connect to women going through the same crazy emotional roller coaster that is TTC!
I'm pretty sure I posted an Intro a year ago, but...
I'm Sev and I've been active on TB for a year now. Before that I was a reg on TK's NEY board. DH and I have been ttc #1 since December 2014 and are currently on our 15th cycle. We are parents to an English Bulldog named Watson and a prissy princess cat named Reagan. We recently bought a home so I've been having fun decorating and fixing up that.

I did a short intro in WTO a few weeks ago but I'll join in on this to give some better background. DH and I are both 28 and have been married since October 2014. We have 2 little yorkies that are our fur babies. We are both very career focused and work around the clock (he's healthcare, I'm corporate). I went off BCP this past July '15 to let my body get back to "normal" since I'd been on them for 12 years and we began TTC in October. My cycle went right back to 28 days so the first month we were "NTNP" but I made sure we BD around what I thought would be my FW. What do you know... CD 28, 29, 30 pass with no sign of AF and I was certain I was KTFU... Nope! I stumbled upon this board in one of my crazy google searches and heard the phrase that saved my sanity (dramatics): "you're regular until you're not". Since then I've learned so much from the group here about charting, FF, and about issues that I never thought I'd experience, but have, through my relatively short TTGP journey. I'm looking forward to GTKY all better but hope we each move on to our BMBs soon!
I'm Ryan. I have been a member on TB since Aug 2013 I believe but haven't been active in a while. DH and I were married in May 2012 as well @CajunSnowWhite89 and @PeggyOlsonFTW! We started TTC #1 in June 2013 and got BFP in Aug. DD was born 4/2014. DH has been hinting that he wants baby #2 while I have plans to go back to grad school. So right now we're NTNP but I'm secretly hoping for another BFP this cycle.
It's really nice to hear all of your stories. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who have struggled with infertility and loss...
Edit: hit post too soon. Oops.

I'm 29, DH is 34. We have a 5 year old boy and a six month old fur baby pup named Ruby. We have been TTC #2 since May 2015. I'm on and off active here because sometimes focusing too much on TTGP fuels my anxiety and stresses me out more, making the process a lot less enjoyable. I'm a psych nurse, a student of Shorin-Ryu karate and love to do yoga. I love being on this board, there is a ton of helpful information and many supportive women. We don't always see eye to eye but that's the beauty of being an individual...we're all our own unique people. Happy to be here!
Did my intro a couple weeks ago, but I like the idea of having them all here for reference, so...
I'm 29, DH is 30, and we've been married since October of 2011. We live in a small town in lower Alabama, where we just built a house last summer. I'm an accountant for a small company and DH is the technical director at a large church in the area. We're both musicians (DH- Bass, drums, acoustic, vocals; Me- Keys, vocals), so basically we could start a family band once we have a tiny human to complete us. I'm very into health and fitness. I recently lost 103 lbs (and still going!) by using MyFitness Pal to track my caloric intake and a FitBit to get me moving. We have two rescued fur babies that we love dearly.
We've been TTC our first child since December of 2015, so we're pretty new to this process. I tend to be the kind of person who wants to plan and control everything, so this has been a great opportunity for me to learn and grow as a person. In this process, all you can do is try to the best of your ability and the rest is not up to you. Tough stuff! Anyway, as far as we know, DH and I are healthy, so we'll "just keep swimming" until it happens for us.
DH and I are both 36 and have an almost 3 yo DS (his birthday is next week). I was on TB when I was trying/pregnant with DS and then took a break, but came back in July or August of 2015 as we started thinking of going for #2. So...we're TFAS. Came of BCPs in August; then life stuff put TTC on hold a few months.
I'm a TTGP rebel who doesn't temp, b/c I don't get 3 hours of consistent sleep each night, but I am approaching the eff it, I'll do it anyway phase. I am terrible at participating in the WTO/TWW threads. Sorry! I will try to be better. New Year's resolution...
Hi all! I'm 30, and DH is 31. We just got married in June of 2015 and started trying in September. I stopped BCP in April of 2015 in order to get ready for the day when we would start TTC. I had been on BCP since I was 18. I joined The Knot to plan my wedding and now I'm here on The Bump to keep my sanity before we get our family started.
A little more about me outside of TB: I love Doctor Who, Sherlock, Batman, and The Avengers. I am a forever theatre and music nerd and will randomly burst out into song. I am a teacher who is working her way through her tenureship year (woohoo!) and have been teaching for 5 years. I teach high school English as a Second Language students, who knew that the center of the United States would have such huge migrant and refugee populations? I have extreme social anxiety and can be pretty awkward, completely unintentionally.
I will intro here as well! I'm Katie and my husband and I have just started our TTC journey. A little about us, I am 25 and he is 31. We have been married since September 2014. We are from a small town, have very close families, and are very excited to become parents We have a miniature dachshund named Roxy! Before lurking TB, I was VERY clueless as to the science behind ttc.. it's amazing! I feel like I've learned so much already, and enjoy being a part of the community here! Hopefully everyone's stay here is short!
I'll re-intro too! I'm originally from Chicago but have lived in the Middle East the past few years. I'm 30 and my husband is 29. We met in 2011, married 2014, and went off birth control in early May 2015. Started lurking in June and began temping in September. Still waiting on our bfp!
@PrimRoseMama I love that you signed off...perfect name! Haha

I am 32, DH is 33, and we are very newlywed, but have been together for 6 years. This is our first month TTC and I am experiencing my very first TWW. Trying my best to not go crazy and not drive my husband crazy. I am a person who researches to death, obsessively analyzes, and has a desk job with a computer and a lot of down time, so it easy for me to make myself nuts. It's very nice to have such a great community to turn to. Nice to meet you all!
Hello!! I'm 28, DH is 29. We have been married almost 3 years, together for 10. We have a DD and I was part of the Jan14 BMB. We have been TTC #2 since May '15, and have only been temping and using OPK's since Oct '15, which honestly hasn't been very helpful. Looking forward to getting to know you ladies!
Hi! Glad to have an opportunity to introduce myself -- I've been lurking for several months and waiting for the right moment to jump in. I'm 32 and my husband is 35. I went off BCP (had been on it since I was ~17) and began temping in July 2015; we've been actively TTC #1 since November 2015. We're on our 4th cycle TTC now and have added OPKs into the mix as of 3rd cycle.
Outside of my TTC life, I'm a consultant in a fun niche field and I enjoy my work. My husband and I travel a lot for fun; we're both lucky to have a lot of flexibility with our jobs. We have a goofy little cat who is sometimes super sweet and sometimes a crazy brat. (Maybe that describes all cats?!) I adore her.
Looking forward to getting involved on here! TWWs are tough for me, and CD1s are the worst. I'm glad to have a group of people here who all understand the struggle!
I'm 27, H is 28. We are HS sweethearts and been married for 4.5 years. I started on TTGP back in July 2015. I got my first BFP in September, then had a MC in November. We are on our second cycle TTCAL. I have been temping and using FF since the beginning.
I am a Graphic Designer, I love the Green Bay Packers, and we have one furbaby a Siamese cat named Carlos.
I'll re-intro, as well. I like having them all here for reference.
I'm 26 and DH is 28. We've been married since May 2012 (looks like lots of us here!) and TTC since August 2015. It's definitely taking longer than I hoped, and my doctor is concerned I might have endo. I have an appt to discuss/schedule a laparoscopy later this month.
We have one precious furbaby, a golden retriever puppy named Garrus, and we just bought a house about 9 months ago, so we've been renovating and decorating!
@Thea519 I'm from a small town in lower Alabama! (I won't post the name because of Internet safety issues.) I live in Florida now, but not too far from my hometown.

Hello, I'll re-intro here.

My DH and I are going into our 5th month of TTC.

We currently have 2 cats and a dog and are looking to move back to the East Coast this summer. Can't wait to get to know everyone a little better! Since joining TB in November I have learned so much. This place is wonderful!
I'm 29, my husband is 31, and we have been trying to expand the Sith Empire since August 2015. I enjoy science, technology, and ganking filthy republic noobs on Tatooine. Also, this community is pretty awesome.

Hey there!!
DS1 -- 9/30/2016

Glad to be a part of this community but I hope I'm not here for too much longer!
My other post was crazy long so I'll make this one simple:
I love food (and if you love food, join the cooking and recipe sharing group! https://forums.thebump.com/group/904-cooking-and-recipe-sharing-lets-talk-food), warm climates (I miss you Florida!), and my three pups.

It's a boy!

Edit: hit post too soon. Oops.
Baby #2: Grayson EDD 10/22/16
Love and luck to everyone here!
I will reintro.
LFAF April Siggy Challenge - TV/Movie BFFS - Romy & Michele

I'm originally from Chicago but have lived in the Middle East the past few years. I'm 30 and my husband is 29. We met in 2011, married 2014, and went off birth control in early May 2015. Started lurking in June and began temping in September. Still waiting on our bfp!
@PrimRoseMama
I love that you signed off...perfect name!

I guess I'll re-intro since its been awhile.

TTC#2 April 2019I'm 26 and DH is 28.
