@lmn823 we had to pick a peds office before birth, sometime in third trimester. They ask before and when we get to the hospital so it’s on file. A doctor associated with the practice will also visit baby in the hospital during rounds. Then they made the follow up appointment with that office for baby’s first appointment after discharge. It probably makes it easy because our peds office is part of the hospital system we use.
And yes don’t wait to add baby to insurance. You have a grace period usually, like 30 days but don’t wait because you could be tired and forget about it. DH always called and got things moving within a couple days of having baby. It helps he also works for the hospital. You can always call your insurance or speak with someone in HR if you have questions.
@novelblessings same here. They have two groups that do rounds, so they ask bc they’ll try to get someone from the group you’ll eventually see to see your baby in the hospital and then make an appt a day or two after discharge.
Anybody else started leaking breast milk already? 😳 was not expecting that at 23 weeks as a FTM. Super weird but also exciting since I was told PCOS can affect breastfeeding so I’m taking it as a good sign.
Also finally measured since none of my bras fit… I went from DDD (which already felt so big pre pregnancy) to right between an H/I!! I am shocked. Those letters should not exist lol.
@cherrystorming yes I’m leaking! Leaked with my first son as well. But it’s very minimal, I actually don’t notice until I shower and see the crust build up on my nipple 😂 sorry about the huge increase in breast size, I hope your back isn’t in too much pain!
@cherrystorming I started leaking around then in my first pregnancy too! I was shocked. Had to stock up on reusable pads for my bras. No leaking yet on this pregnancy tho 🤞😅
And yes to the increased bra sizing. I seem to always go up a band size and 1-2 cup sizes.
@cherrystorming I’ve never had leaking with any of my pregnancies but my bra size increases usually by two sizes. I’ve already noticed bras are snug. I’m not a fan, but mine always go back down eventually.
@emeraldcity603 my first BMB (F18) moved over I think a month or two before the babies arrived but I’m pretty flexible and am good with whatever others want to do.
Hi, 26 weeks pregnant and I had a bite of an undercooked chicken wing. It wasn’t a big bite but I’m freaking out. Has this happened to anyone? The wing was super red on the inside, once I started pulling it apart to see how undercooked it was, not bloody though. I don’t think I ate that red part more so the pink on the top layer under the skin.

I wouldn’t be worried. You stopped as soon as you noticed.
Great news! My complete placenta previa is no longer a complete but now a low lying! So grateful for an answered prayer, MFM OB is hopeful it will move more and I’ll be able to deliver vaginally 🙏🏻
