Hey ladies. Had my transfer this morning. The embryo looked good and all was smooth. I’m at peace knowing I’ve given this one my best shot. 8 days until beta. I should be pretty busy so I think it will go fast. Thanks for your positive thoughts!

Hi Ladies- I am new here. I hope its okay that I post in this thread. I am looking to get some advice/encouragement. I am 36 and have a 2.5 year old we conceived right away in 2018.
We tried in Jan for #2 and got pregnant right away. It ended up being ectopic in my left tube. We treated it wth MTX. We waited 3 months (protocol after MTX) to try again.
We tried in April and got pregnant again! It ended up being another ectopic in the same tube. We treated it with MTX but this one was really strong It was difficult to dissolve and took 2 MTX shots. I am waiting to be 0 still, I have what I hope is my last blood draw this week. I was at 21HCG 1.5 weeks ago. I am taking Ovulation tests and its looks like I am gearing up. I am hoping to get AF and get an HSG test done before my RE appointment.
My periods have always been 26-28 days, I always use ovulation tests and ovulation around day 14-ish. I was told by my OB that my AMH is .1888. After everything I have been through this really hurt. I will say when she took this test, I had 2 EPs in 6 months, was depleted of all nutrients and vitamins. I knew in my gut I shouldn't take that test.
I have our first RE appointment on Aug 13th. Until then I put myself back on my vitamins including COQ10, Fish Oil, Via Dk2, Vit C, probiotics + a paleo diet + antioxidant smoothies every morning. I also started acupuncture.
Given my history, I am assuming IVF is what will be suggested. Then I worry they won't do it with my eggs and will say IUI. This AMH is scaring me. I keep getting pregnant every time we try. I just want to do IVF with my own eggs. (Donor eggs are not an options for us). Do I have any hope? What do you think will be suggested? I was excited for this appointment but now I am actually really scared.

@boymama2018 I’m sorry for what you’ve gone through. That is so tough. It’s good that you’ve started supplements. It’s controversial, but you may want to consider taking DHEA. It’s supposed to help with egg quality. This is a great group of ladies who are very knowledgeable and supportive. I’d recommend thinking of this as marathon with an obstacle course, rather than a sprint. There are going to be ups and downs. Hopefully, you’ll be successful quickly, but it’s heartbreaking when it isn’t. Good luck!
afm, I stopped my injections Sunday and we are trying on our own this month. It makes DH nervous since we had genetic testing last time and 50% were normal. However, I figure it can’t hurt to try. We are reserved for august and September. I’m ready to ovulate and start estrogen priming. Hope everyone is having a good week!

@boymama2018 I’m so sorry that for your losses and what you've been going through. The fact that you have been able to get pregnant is a great thing its just didn't implant in the right spot. I'm not so familiar with etopic pregnancy but I hear how dangerous they can be. Taking the supplements is a great start. the process is scary but for some its one stop shopping and works on the first try, no reason you can't be that lucky one too. Go to your appt. and ask your concerns and hopefuly your RE will be a good fit for you and full of knowledge.

@Kp214. Im a big believer in going with your intuition. After a failed transfer in prague, the very next month I got preggo. So im a believer in the hormones helping you achieve your goal. Mine ended because he had a chromosomal abnormality, but that doesn't mean it couldn't have been a healthy egg. Praying for you. Sometimes from disappointment comes joy.
@boymama2018. Welcome to our lil support group. Im sorry that you got a low AMH. But I have seen over and over in this group that a low AMH doesn't necessarily mean you won't be successful with your own eggs, it just means quantity is lower. I would try your hardest not to jump to conclusions before you speak with the RE and have them run their tests because things may change. And you are in the driver's seat. If you want to try IVF with your eggs, then they should support that. My doctor let me try 3 rounds with my eggs and sadly we never even fertilized an egg, so I knew my path was donor eggs. But i was happy we tried to prove to me my eggs wouldn't work. It was a big grieving process but im on the other side feeling confident in my choice and excited to have my future babies. Despite genetics. If donor eggs does eventually become what you need, there are a ton of us on this group who are using donor eggs so we are here to support. Also, donor eggs doesn't equate unaffordable either. 3 of us used Utah Fertility Center and the code is between 20-25k which is pretty close to an ivf cost. Sounds like you are all the right things with diet and acupuncture, so keep doing what you are doing and hoping you're appt goes well!

Beta today at 10dp5dt was 177!!! That is the highest first beta I've had after a transfer!!! And can you believe I didn't even test once!! Im so dang proud of myself and honestly, I felt calmer and more at peace, like I surrendered to the universe and said, ok it's all you now! Feeling very happy, joyful, and blessed. And how amazing that the universe times it all so I cannot get my next beta for 96 hours instead of 48. It once again shows that the universe didn't want me to stress over 2 tests, so I can just kick back, relax and see my quadrupling on Monday. On a side note, my little furbaby teddy is in surgery right now having a cancerous tumor removed from his little leg so I'll have lots of puppy snuggles for the next few days while he recovers and I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing than loving up on my baby. Afm, I received my calendar and start estrogen priming next Wednesday and testosterone priming a day or two after. I feel so bloated and wonder if I’ve ovulated yet. Surely I have. Guess I’ll just keep on trucking along.

We had our anatomy scan this week which showed a heart issue. It was confirmed the following day with a fetal echo with the pediatric cardiologist. Baby has pulmonary valve stenosis. It’s a severe case but it’s treatable. Most can be fixed with a balloon catheter procedure that needs to be done right after birth in the first 1-2 days. So it’s very scary and will be rough start but hopefully long run no issues. I was pretty upset at first, given everything else we have been thru. But now I’ve processed and turned into fighter mode for baby girl. We have to transfer all care to the local children’s hospital which fortunately has one of the best cardiac institutes in the country. I’m terrified of getting pre e again and having a premie in this situation. But it’s all out of my control. So trying to stay positive and focus on what I can. Appreciate any prayers you send our way

@lmajin99 thanks ! Teddy is doing much better today. He is literally attached to me. He wants to lay on top of me at all times. Its sweet. He's a great distraction while waiting for Mondays HCG. He is so sad with his little cone. We find out by Tuesday if they got clean margins, which we are praying for, otherwise he needs another surgery.

I got the cutest pic of my lil bug and I have to try to share it. Everything is right on track at 8w 1d and the heartbeat in the 160's, sweetest sign, I wish I could FF this trimester, its brutal! The nausea is in its fullest form and I just can't find anything to help it. I know I shouldn't be complaining I'm so blessed doing this with a toddler yet too. One more week till my next US.

Thanks for all the thoughts and love friends!! I’m trying not to think about it. It sounds crazy but I don’t even meet with the new cardiac team for 3.5 weeks at 24 weeks. So I just need to stay calm and make it as far as possible.

Well, I lied. Ended up getting another beta this morning. TW
Last night, I had some pretty bad anxiety and was freaking out over new mandates and possibility of losing my job and with that stress came some BRB just gushing out. I didnt take my lovenox last night because I just feel deep down it is not right for me and I bled pretty bad last time too and that ended in a MM. So she agreed I can come off the lovenox and sent me for another HCG this morning . Monday it was 1631. Today, 48 hours later it is 6809. more than quadrupled. So Im relieved the babies are ok. Im pretty convinced with my betas consistently quadrupling that both embryos took.

Afm, baseline scan was a mixed bag of news. I have 5 great sized follicles left over from last cycle even though I ovulated. She said if I were at a different point in the cycle she’d tell me to trigger and we’d go to retrieval. As it is, it would be a Hail Mary move to try to retrieve those now and she thinks we can set up for another stim next cycle that could be good. She now knows that I need to stim longer and could get 3-5 eggs, which is more than I was thinking. So, I’m to wait until next cycle to stim, sit this one out and try again next month.

Holy fucking shit guys, I am freaking out!!1. So there are definetly identical twins in there!! Both with great heart beats and what looks like a membrane between them so they have their own "room" or we hope that's what that is because it would be very dangerous if they share a sack. And then there was a mass of some sort and 2 doctors looked at it and couldn't figure out what it was and also there was a 3rd fetal pole attached to it. So I might be having freaking triplets!!!! Now, im trying to keep it together and not lose my shit because that is definetly where I am heading right now. I have to remember that I have a history of babies not making it in my first trimester, so just praying its just the identical twins in there. Which is crazy in itself. I anticipated boy/girl twins since that's what we put in...I really didnt think I would have one split, even though I know that happens more often with IVF. So I also graduated today from my fertility doctor, I am officially beyond her level of expertise and she wants me seeing a maternal fetal specialist as soon as possible. She's calling my doctor to let her know she has to request the specialist and get me in there asap. This is just bonkers. I mean, I cant believe it. My life is like a freaking soap opera I swear!

Happy to see the twins are looking good, not too sure on what I can offer about the rest of the information you got as I know nothing about that but if it is triplets you my friend I know can handle it all. @JamieH2000@c-town18@lmajin99 so my OB wrote me and she is having me come in next Friday so she can try to discern what is going on with the full house in there. The perinatologist will see me the week after at 8 weeks. My hubby is so cool as a cucumber which is weird because he has terrible anxiety. I'm the one who has been more anxious. He's eerily calm. I keep thinking maybe he's in shock too....but no, he really is just fine. Not his body that possibly has to grow 3 humans!! I feel ok! A little tiny bit of nausea here and there, but mostly just tired, crazy thirsty, and hungry all the time. Another girl I know on my FB group is 10 weeks with twins and no nausea. So I hope I go that route. What a freaking day!! Just crazy!

@andreamm31 I’m gobsmacked and dumbfounded, OMG I’m still holding my breath reading your updates! This is so unreal!! It’s great they can see the membrane that would be ideal for sure! Love that your dr is still seeing you as you will need to be monitored frequently. I’m so excited for you! Identical, WOW!! Take it easy as much as you can. When I was pregnant with twins I was exhausted and my body would let me know when it was done for the day. Nausea kicked in high at 6wks. Take it one day at a time, your body now has the work to do. And of course stay hydrated that was really tough for me too. Can’t wait for the next update!!

Hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend. Just a bit of an update from me...TW (loss mentioned) Even though my Day 1 had not started after the Provera my RE brought me in for some bloodwork and ultrasound. Everything was looking good with a thin lining and currently I am on estrace to build up the lining. I have always had thick lining but was a bit worried after the loss. Was brought in yesterday at Day 10 and lining is looking great at 9.5 and trilaminar! I will have a transfer on Friday. I have still been so numb about our loss that I can't feel super excited as before. I do hope that changes. I am trying to get rid of negative thoughts and at least feel neutral about everything. Tried to convince RE to put in 2 blastocysts but won't budge for this cycle. Says we can discuss it if this transfer does not work. Wish me luck.
@andreamm31- glad your DH is chill, but i get your anxiety!! how are you feeling? counting down the days until Friday so you can get another peek!

We tried in Jan for #2 and got pregnant right away. It ended up being ectopic in my left tube. We treated it wth MTX. We waited 3 months (protocol after MTX) to try again.
We tried in April and got pregnant again! It ended up being another ectopic in the same tube. We treated it with MTX but this one was really strong It was difficult to dissolve and took 2 MTX shots. I am waiting to be 0 still, I have what I hope is my last blood draw this week. I was at 21HCG 1.5 weeks ago. I am taking Ovulation tests and its looks like I am gearing up. I am hoping to get AF and get an HSG test done before my RE appointment.
My periods have always been 26-28 days, I always use ovulation tests and ovulation around day 14-ish. I was told by my OB that my AMH is .1888. After everything I have been through this really hurt. I will say when she took this test, I had 2 EPs in 6 months, was depleted of all nutrients and vitamins. I knew in my gut I shouldn't take that test.
I have our first RE appointment on Aug 13th. Until then I put myself back on my vitamins including COQ10, Fish Oil, Via Dk2, Vit C, probiotics + a paleo diet + antioxidant smoothies every morning. I also started acupuncture.
Given my history, I am assuming IVF is what will be suggested. Then I worry they won't do it with my eggs and will say IUI. This AMH is scaring me. I keep getting pregnant every time we try. I just want to do IVF with my own eggs. (Donor eggs are not an options for us). Do I have any hope? What do you think will be suggested? I was excited for this appointment but now I am actually really scared.
@boymama2018 I’m sorry for what you’ve gone through. That is so tough. It’s good that you’ve started supplements. It’s controversial, but you may want to consider taking DHEA. It’s supposed to help with egg quality. This is a great group of ladies who are very knowledgeable and supportive. I’d recommend thinking of this as marathon with an obstacle course, rather than a sprint. There are going to be ups and downs. Hopefully, you’ll be successful quickly, but it’s heartbreaking when it isn’t. Good luck!
afm, I stopped my injections Sunday and we are trying on our own this month. It makes DH nervous since we had genetic testing last time and 50% were normal. However, I figure it can’t hurt to try. We are reserved for august and September. I’m ready to ovulate and start estrogen priming. Hope everyone is having a good week!

@boymama2018 I’m so sorry that for your losses and what you've been going through. The fact that you have been able to get pregnant is a great thing its just didn't implant in the right spot. I'm not so familiar with etopic pregnancy but I hear how dangerous they can be. Taking the supplements is a great start. the process is scary but for some its one stop shopping and works on the first try, no reason you can't be that lucky one too. Go to your appt. and ask your concerns and hopefuly your RE will be a good fit for you and full of knowledge.

@boymama2018. Welcome to our lil support group. Im sorry that you got a low AMH. But I have seen over and over in this group that a low AMH doesn't necessarily mean you won't be successful with your own eggs, it just means quantity is lower. I would try your hardest not to jump to conclusions before you speak with the RE and have them run their tests because things may change. And you are in the driver's seat. If you want to try IVF with your eggs, then they should support that. My doctor let me try 3 rounds with my eggs and sadly we never even fertilized an egg, so I knew my path was donor eggs. But i was happy we tried to prove to me my eggs wouldn't work. It was a big grieving process but im on the other side feeling confident in my choice and excited to have my future babies. Despite genetics. If donor eggs does eventually become what you need, there are a ton of us on this group who are using donor eggs so we are here to support. Also, donor eggs doesn't equate unaffordable either. 3 of us used Utah Fertility Center and the code is between 20-25k which is pretty close to an ivf cost. Sounds like you are all the right things with diet and acupuncture, so keep doing what you are doing and hoping you're appt goes well!

We had our anatomy scan this week which showed a heart issue. It was confirmed the following day with a fetal echo with the pediatric cardiologist. Baby has pulmonary valve stenosis. It’s a severe case but it’s treatable. Most can be fixed with a balloon catheter procedure that needs to be done right after birth in the first 1-2 days. So it’s very scary and will be rough start but hopefully long run no issues. I was pretty upset at first, given everything else we have been thru. But now I’ve processed and turned into fighter mode for baby girl. We have to transfer all care to the local children’s hospital which fortunately has one of the best cardiac institutes in the country. I’m terrified of getting pre e again and having a premie in this situation. But it’s all out of my control. So trying to stay positive and focus on what I can. Appreciate any prayers you send our way

I got the cutest pic of my lil bug and I have to try to share it. Everything is right on track at 8w 1d and the heartbeat in the 160's, sweetest sign, I wish I could FF this trimester, its brutal! The nausea is in its fullest form and I just can't find anything to help it. I know I shouldn't be complaining I'm so blessed doing this with a toddler yet too. One more week till my next US.

7/13/2021 FET boy and girl embryos. First beta 10dp5dt 177, 14dp5dt 1631, 16dp5dt 6809. Pregnant with Identical triplets. At 9 weeks, Baby C no longer had a heart beat. Identical Twin Girls. Pregnancy complicated by TRAP Sequence with baby C an Acardiac fetus still receiving blood flow being pumped to it by other girls. Referred to UCSF at 18 weeks for consultation. No intervention needed at this time

@Kp214 Yes trying the peppermint and other things but nothing really helps. Probably with throwing up is that the feeling doesn’t go away and u don’t feel better. Have you started the meds?
@JamieH2000 the meds didn’t help last time so I’ll see what the dr says. I just can’t believe how bad the heartburn is already too! Hope you’re staying calm and feeling good!

Even though my Day 1 had not started after the Provera my RE brought me in for some bloodwork and ultrasound. Everything was looking good with a thin lining and currently I am on estrace to build up the lining. I have always had thick lining but was a bit worried after the loss. Was brought in yesterday at Day 10 and lining is looking great at 9.5 and trilaminar! I will have a transfer on Friday. I have still been so numb about our loss that I can't feel super excited as before. I do hope that changes. I am trying to get rid of negative thoughts and at least feel neutral about everything. Tried to convince RE to put in 2 blastocysts but won't budge for this cycle. Says we can discuss it if this transfer does not work. Wish me luck.
