Re: Introductions!
We have one child and we both work full time.
My only symptom so far is exhaustion.
I live on the east coast of Canada. H and I have been married for 6 and a half years, together for 11. We have one daughter who is 2.5. H is a firefighter and I am a legal assistant.
I am tired, and was sick for the first time this morning...right on schedule lol!
Also a fellow Canadian on the east coast!
My parents live on the westcoast. I really wanted to fly out this summer with my daughter but with the self-isolation rules here I would have needed almost a month off.

A Canadian thread would be awesome!
according to LMP it’s 6/30/20 but will be having an ultrasound around 8 weeks for dating as my periods have always been variable
we have 2 DDs, oldest is 8 and the baby is a year and a half. Been married for 10 years, together for 13.5. I work part time as a medical assistant for an OB provider, H has his journeyman’s card as a tool maker.
first appointment with the doc isn’t until December, but needs to schedule my ultrasound and get my labs completed. I already had a nurse telephone call last week.
so far no real symptoms other than exhaustion and insomnia. Oh and super nose! I didn’t get morning sickness with either of my other pregnancies so I’m really hoping that holds with this one too!

DH and I just celebrated our 5th anniversary two weeks ago! We live outside of Pittsburgh. We have 3 kids already, DS (just turned 4), DD (2.5), and DS (9 months). All three kids were born on the 10th of a month, so even though I'm due late June, I'm penciling in 7/10 for the actual arrival 😂 I currently work part-time as a communications coordinator for my church, but I'll be putting in my resignation soon (one of my 3 reasons to quit was "next pregnancy") and just be a SAHM. DH and I are also currently trying to move further out of the city, buy some land, and homestead. We'll see how this pregnancy affects those plans, but I have a feeling that by the time this baby is born, we'll have land and chickens.
No appt. I haven't even thought about calling yet. I'll get around to it eventually. I've had pretty bad morning (all day) sickness most of the week, that's about it...but I'm also not entirely in tune with what's a pregnancy symptom and what's a "stop biting my boob" symptom right now 😂
Due date? 6/25 but it will be a RCS so probably earlier in real life
I am an elementary math coach (and yes I like Common Core so don't come for it with me 😅) in North Carolina. Currently working from my dining room table as I have been since March! My husband also works from home, but that's not pandemic-related, his job is a WFH job. We have a daughter who just turned 3! (O17)
Due date? 6/20
Tell us about yourself: I am married with two daughters ages 5 and 3. I am excited to tell them and watch them both be great big sisters. I work from home as a forecast analyst for a CPG company that makes health and beauty care items. I like my job but it has been stressful lately.
I found out right at 4w, and I'm currently 8w2d. The first 1-2 weeks I after I got a positive I felt normal other than sore breasts. Since then I've definitely had many days of feeling like crap. Nauseous, tons of food aversions where NOTHING sounds good, headaches, tired, etc. Thankfully I haven't been at the vomiting point yet but I was not sick at all with my last pregnancy so this is an unwelcome difference..lol.
Pregmate sticks, right before work, 5 days before my period was supposed to happen! I couldn’t really believe those faint lines meant I was pregnant, so I waited 3 more days to tell the husband!
I am a psychologist living in the Bay Area, CA. My husband is a filmmaker, and we have two dogs and two cats. With this pandemic, we spend a lot of time at home baking or using our peloton bike. It’s a nice balance. 🤷🏼♀️
First appointment was 11/11, and it was so beautiful to see the heartbeat at 7 weeks! We have a follow up appointment 12/11, and I am so nervous and excited.
Due date? June 25
Hopefully not too much of a downer, and all that to say, nice to meet everyone.
Due date? One app said June 1st, but my LMP indicated May 25. I had an US Nov 21st and the fetal size was at 12w not 13w3d so my date was moved to June 6th.
My first baby was c-section and its looking like I'm high risk so birth at 39w will put me into May. We shall see.
- Other children/pets? DS 14 months. My husbands side are pets lovers, so we will probably get one, but we have a really new house and don't have a fence yet. The cat stays at my MIL's house.
- Job? High school bio teacher, but as of this year SAHM, (practically as of covid, strange timing)
- Things you like to do? Read, handicraft (crocheting, knitting, etc), piano (need to baby proof my keyboard)
- Spouse? married Dec 2018
Any symptoms? low key pregnancy. A little nausea and food aversions if I eat too fast. Only recognized the sensitive breasts because of a breast-feeding toddler. Thought he was being unkind at first, then realized it was the pregnancy over-exaggerating the pain. Plan on tandem feeding if it comes to that.
Due date? I am due June 3
How did you find out? Took a pregnancy test and it came back positive right away.
Tell us about yourself:
I live in the suburbs of Chicago. My husband and I have been married for about a year and a half.
First appointment? Any symptoms?
I had two appointments and two ultrasounds so far. I have had fatigue, smell aversions, nausea (that has gone away mostly), forgetfulness (already!, oh geeze), lots of anxiety, mood swings and depression :(
tw: may be sensitive for those with fertility struggles
it took me some time to cope with this pregnancy, as well. We have 3 kids and we were d-o-n-e. H had a vasectomy scheduled for around Christmas and we were combining methods only to find out I was pregnant with #4! Pregnancy has always been rough on me and this one was no exception, so that made it harder. I saw my u/s at 7 weeks and was like, okay cool. But mostly meh. It wasn’t until I saw baby wriggle on Vscan that i was like “okay, we can really enjoy this”. And it’s a process. It’s different for everyone, every time. My 1st I immediately bonded the second I knew I was pregnant, my 2nd took a while... when we found out the sex actually, and my 3rd was also a little touch and go. But I love those girls more than anything and know that they are a part of me and vis versa. It doesn’t matter how or when I got there, but I did. I’m sorry you’re feeling the meh and can’t wait for you to feel the wheeeeee! It will come, but let yourself feel whatever you’re need to feel in the mean time.

So, long way of saying: you're not alone. Even my mother told me that she didn't really feel that excited until after I was born which, if you know her, is totally shocking.
From my experience, I was super apprehensive about the whole “having a child” part that came after pregnancy lol. It took me a LONG time to feel like it was the right decision and feel joy from it. I felt I had ruined my life. My babe was maybe 6-7 months old when I fell in love with him and being his mother.
I found out I was pregnant at the ER for a totally unrelated issue. I was completely shocked.
We have a 14yo girl and almost 6yo boy.
I'm a sahm and my husband is a trucker.
Had my first official appointment last week and a dating ultrasound at 6 weeks.
Super tired and nauseous all the time. But no other concerns/ high risk.
