@andreamm31 Words escape me. I am so sorry for everything you have gone though this week. I'm happy to hear that you are surrounded by caring hearts in the hospital. I'm also happy to hear that your doctor has proactively put you on disability for the next month. I'm sure that you will need every bit of that to heal and grieve. Life sucks sometimes and it especially sucks that you and your DH have had to go through all of the ups and downs that life has presented you with this past month.
@andreamm31 i just can’t! You are so brave and so strong and taking this all like an ultimate fighting champion! I’m so glad you are getting some extra TLC and that your OB has spent so much time with you. This is so horrifying that you have to not only endure the pain of loss but of all this and to be doing it alone in the hospital is just so awful. I hope you are out of there safe and sound soon and back with your hubby. I’m glad your family can connect over technology but I know it’s not the same. Sending so much love. I’m in awe of you lady.

Oh @andreamm31 I’m thinking of you. So horrible. Every delay in this process is so frustrating and feels like a decade, even if it’s just a couple months. I hope the bleeding stops soon. Need any suggestions for crappy shows to watch??? I’m so glad at least you don’t have to worry about work right now. Sending ❤️❤️❤️
@andreamm31 oh my gosh - I’m happy to hear things are stable now and that you’re getting first class care. But man. That’s definitely just far too much to deal with on top of everything else. Take it steady. Sending you lots of love. You have a whole special tribe here for you.

I'm wishing you a speedy recovery and that you can feel that you're surrounded by love, positive thoughts, and prayers. Take it easy on yourself, physically, mentally and emotionally. and hugs.
@andreamm31- omg girl. No one deserves a break more than you. I’m so sorry and wish we could do more. I’m so glad you have an amazing OB and I’m so happy and thinks you can try again in a few months! Let this be the LAST hiccup on your road to take home baby!!
@hopefuljj- sooo glad to hear from you and congrats! Post partum pre e is scary! And I’m guessing you had bed rest and magnesium which is awful after birth. I’m glad you are all home and well now!! Enjoy that beautiful baby!!
afm- finally got AF and baseline is on Monday. Hard to believe I’m here again two years since my last transfer that worked. Kinda feeling like I’m tempting fate to even get so lucky to try again...

JamieH2000 - Wow, exciting, back in the saddle! Can't want to hear your updates. Are you transferring 1 or 2 embryos? I'm really on the fence about it myself.
@lauralew@hopefuljj@c-town18@emmasemm@31magnolia@JamieH2000 Thank you all for your well wishes ladies. I got the balloon out yesterday morning and holy moly was it painful. They even pre-medicated me with dilaudid and it was pretty bad. Reminded me of the ERA biopsy but a little different. I got pretty crampy afterwards. My doc spent so much time with me. I was really impressed. She contacted the perinatologist about my case and also tried to reach my RE 3 times! She is so on top of things and really wants the best course of action. My RE said with the bleed, we would need to wait 2 period cycles before trying IUI if we decide to try again on our own.
One of my good friends who was the charge nurse on my unit yesterday (and one of my IVF friends who knows my journey well) snuck over to my hospital and acted like the ninja nurse that she is and made her way up to my room with a coffee and a hug! It was amazing how much I just needed a hug since I was all alone. But my nurses were so fabulous and so loving and literally treated me like family so that was such a blessing. Then my friend got our music therapist Amy to come see me and she played 3 songs for me that were just so beautiful, appropriate, uplifting, and I truly started to feel better emotionally after her visit.
I had also announced earlier this week that I was closing my Healing Practice doing Healing Touch and Reiki because of covid and restrictions, but I got a lot of private messages from my elders in the HT community who wanted to hear more, so I told my fairy godmother who used to be the President of the HT world here about what I was going through with my fertility struggles so I had been openly updating her on what happened after the D&C and she got her Wisdom Women circle of all the elder healers to do a distance treatment on me at one time. I cant even begin to tell you how broken I had felt all week and especially right before the procedure. I know so much about the bodies energy system that right before I went in I thought, my heart and sacral chakra are so broken, this is when someones heart stops during a procedure or I bleed out. And my intuition was right. But after all these women started doing treatments on me, I could literally feel all this energy and like my energy being repaired, refilled, and balanced out. I felt very peaceful and calm.
I got discharged around 1230 yesterday and very minimal bleeding after. When I got home, another reiki friend did a distance treatment on me for an hour and sent me a sound healing track to listen to during it, so I cozied up in my amazing bed with my puppy and proceeded to get the bombest treatment ever, I felt so much energy and she freaking took my pain away! I have never felt distance treatments ever like this. It just goes to show how much prayer and people sending energy really work and have an affect. I was honestly shocked, but also humbled and inspired by all the love and support surrounding me from so many corners of this world and from this group. And Im so thankful. I know this will be a long road and there very well may be more setbacks or sadness, but I gotta keep on going to realize my dream and once that sweet baby is here, I will know it was worth every second of the pain. Im sure @hopefuljj is feeling that way right now. And hopefully the pp pre-e is easing up and you are starting to feel as normal as possible. @JamieH2000 im so thrilled for you that you get to start Monday! Im sure you will be successful, your body knows what to do! Thank you all again for being so caring and loving. It is so very appreciated!!!! xoxoxoxo

@c-town18 you're thinking about transferring two? Do you know if you want a boy or girl? I'd be so terrified of twins! That might set my sanity over the edge But maybe once you've had one already you're a wee bit more comfortable with the whole baby thing. Exciting that you're getting ready though!
@hopefuljj can't wait to hear the whole tale of baby girl's arrival!

@c-town18- I’m only doing one since I had severe pre e and delivered at 33.5 weeks last time. No twins for me! I probably would have reliever at 28-30 weeeks if both of my twins had made it (I love one at 7 weeeks). We actually thawed and pgs four out of our 8 embryos. All 4 came back normal!

@JamieH2000 That's wonderful that all survived the thaw and that all were normal! Also incredible that you have so many embryos. You must have had great numbers.
andreamm31 - Glad you are back home now and feeling some positive energy. *TW* I remember doing hot yoga really helped me get back to a good place mentally and physically after my M/Cs, it felt symbolic like I was sweating out all the negative feelings and hCG, I don't know. *End TW* Did you hear anything back from your Prague clinic about a timeline to lift restrictions? And when you're mentioning doing IUI, is that for if you can't get back to Prague for another transfer relatively quickly?
@c-town18 Yoga is usually my go to as well. I have to lay around and do nothing for 2 weeks, but then I will definetly get back Into my yoga routine...I had stopped it mostly during 1st trimester as I felt so crappy. But I know I need it. Prague seemed ready to work with me soon, but I told them it was suggested I wait at least 2 periods before trying anything. We will do IUI if we discover the embryo was normal and try again with my eggs. But if it was an abnormal embryo, we will just go to Prague and use our last embryo there. They did more work up for us plus the baby, so we will have more answers and better able to make choices in a few weeks.

@lauralew- we were very fortunate that we got like 19 mature eggs and 12 embryos frozen. Took 4 to get our first babe, so hopefully it won’t take that many next time since we know the ERa and PGS results this time. How many did you get again?!
@andreamm13- thinking of you and hoping you are healing, emotionally and physically. We are are here for you until you get that baby

@andreamm31 Your strength throughout all of this is an inspiration. The ability to obtain more information after a loss like the one you suffered is the silver lining. Continue to take care of yourself.
@JamieH2000 It's crazy but I can't even remember how many eggs we actually received and how many fertilized. I want to say 23 eggs were retrieved, 18? fertilized and we had 8 blastocysts. We did opt for PGS and out of those 8 blasts, 5 were normal, 2 were abnormal, and 1 was mosaic. We've had one unsuccessful transfer so far so we have 4 good embryos left.
@andreamm31 I'm so sorry you're going through this, but it's great you have some support from your community. Forgive the very elementary questions...you've had a RPL panel, correct? And what kind of immunology testing? Hopefully all the testing you are doing right now will help you reach a good conclusion for next steps
@lucyb1954 Yes, that is the blood work we are waiting for the results of. She tested both me and my husband for Karyotype and Chromosomal anaylsis. I honestly don't think there will be anything off with the two of us. I really think its just my eggs suck. At least I hope that is the answer and that it doesn't mean I cant successfully carry a pregnancy. She did an immune panel as well a few weeks ago to see if I have antiphospholipid syndrome and an ANA that might indicate an autoimmune process to see if I would need lovenox or some other measures. She is very thorough...more so than even my RE or my previous OB.
@lauralew I just know you are going to have a successful transfer. thank you for you kind words.
@JamieH2000 thanks girlie. Wishing you so much luck on this upcoming transfer. Sounds like you got all the info, plenty of healthy embabies and the perfect setting for success on the first try!
AFM....im feeling better physically. Emotionally, Im a mess. My husband decided to have a midlife crisis yesterday morning and impulsively decide he's going to pursue being a substance abuse counselor literally out of nowhere. He's been in the military and working for Navy in communications for awhile now. He got a new job working from home on the day we found out we miscarried, and so his first week of work was understandably very difficult. He spent a lot of time with his sister this weekend before she moved yesterday to Idaho and she is a marriage and family therapist and I think he piggybacked onto her career choice without any thought to it. By the evening he realized that is the complete wrong job for him and recognized he is acting impulsively and needs to just acknowledge the pain he is going through and stop deflecting by creating a career crisis to occupy his mind. I feel very alone because its like he just cant show me he cares or doesn't know how to so I have to say simple things to him like I could use a hug. He's normally a very loving and supportive person but he is just lost in his own head and is struggling finding his way to me. He's getting a reiki treatment Thursday and I am getting one on Wednesday, so Im hoping that helps me feel better....and him. Cuz I just cannot deal with him losing his shit right now. Only one of us is allowed to be a complete mess and I think I earned that title for the week? Right? Am I crazy?

@andreamm31 My heart goes out to both of you. It sounds like he is also grieving and trying to process in his own way right now. Yes, he doesn't have to go through the physical healing that you are going through, and yes, it always feels like so much of the weight of the infertility process falls on female shoulders, but as you so eloquently put it, "he is just lost in his own head and is struggling finding his way to [you]." But yes, to answer your question, you have more than earned the right to be a complete mess for the next week and for as long as it takes. I know that you will both work to support each other through this as you are able. Sometimes two people need to grieve apart before they can grieve together. Don't feel obligated to give him any more of your emotional self than what you are able to give right now.
@lauralew- 5 PGS normal is so good! I really think this next one has to stick! Getting so close! How are you feeling?
@andreamm31- o gosh. What a hard time. I hope the treatments help you both feel better. It’s so hard when so much is out of your control, you just want to control something. Not much makes sense when you are in pain with a loss. I remember there were days where I just had to make it through that day and survive. It’s ok to just get by right now. The fact you are both still employed and married and willing to try again after such heartbreak is all you need right now. Are there some friends or family you can lean on if your hubby isn’t able to be there how you need?
i got my calendar and I will be transfer buddies with @lucyb1954! June 29th - assuming my lining cooperates which isn’t always a given...

andreamm31 - Like JamieH2000 mentioned, I think one of the hardest things about infertility is the lack of control (over how our bodies are responding, over outcomes, etc.). You can consult with the best REs, take your meds how you are supposed to and when you are supposed to, you can eat healthy and take supplements and do everything right, but beyond that how our bodies and embryos respond is largely out of our hands which is so frustrating especially for those of us that are Type A. I bet that feeling of helplessness and lack of control is even more so for our husbands/partners, ya know? Do you think that is where your DH's sudden idea for a career switch came from, like his career is one thing in his life that he can change or take control of right now? This is dorky and I know physically you're still recovering and need to take it easy, but what about finding productive tasks around the house to do so you guys (mostly him but you too) feel like you have some control in your lives again (and it would be a good way to pass the time while you're waiting for results)? Is there any room you've been wanting to paint, some gardening you guys have been wanting to do, a closet that needs organizing, something that you need DH to work on or fix? Or if DH is athletic can he call up a guy friend to go hit tennis balls or so something sporty outside (I know Covid makes this tricky)? This infertility shit just beats couples down emotionally, maybe this would help to build yourselves back up a bit. Ugh, so sorry you're going through this.
@lauralew. I think you are right, I think we just need to grieve apart until we can find out way back to each other. @JamieH2000. We have some family friends around, but his sister just moved Monday and she was our only blood family around San Diego. But I rely very heavily on my friends who are way more like family. He is reaching out more to his friends as well. @c-town18. He's actually working a 9-5 type job, just from home. So he is just diving into work, and when he comes out to the living room, he is just awkward with me. Like he looks at me with pity, like you poor sad woman, I don't know what to do for you. But ive been speaking up more, like asking him to sit with me and let me cuddle up on him. But I agree, this is a control thing. He suddenly jumped on a new career because that is the only thing he has any control over right now. Im booking a joint therapy session after mine on Monday so we will have something in the books to talk about us with her and how we are coping together with all this. At least he recognizes that he was going off the deep end a little bit and I had helped him to see that he is just trying to avoid dealing with so much pain at once by making drastic career choices impulsively.

@andreamm31 I'm so sorry you're both going through this. I know it's hard when you need someone to be the stand-up person, but it's true, you both need to grieve and you'll both find a way back to each other. As @JamieH2000 said, some days it's good enough just to get through the day and still be employed and still be married. I'm glad you both are able to see a counselor together. TBH, my SO is very quiet and doesn't talk about his emotions too much and I've been much more of the pusher behind having kids than he has. We didn't have to do a therapy session before using DE but we opted to and I was surprised to hear him say that he was really relieved for us to be moving on from OE and it was hard on him to see me suffer. I'm sure that some of what your husband is going through is sadness at how you've suffered -- he may feel very helpless as well. I would definitely encourage him to start projects...my SO has been threatening to build a shed in the backyard for years now but once our dog got sick, he really threw himself into it, and it's still keeping him busy and that's good. We both miss that little guy so much and being trapped in the house without him has been hard but I'm really glad to see him occupied and it helps him work off stress. And honestly we really need a shed so I'll be happy too!
Just know that we are with you. I'm sending lots of hugs
Ladies who are prepping for FET - JamieH2000laurelew (am I forgetting anyone else?) - how are things going?? I hope things are going smoothly and that you're feeling well! Sending good vibes your way!
Me! Me! Me! I’m prepping 🤓 I’m a nervous wreck but also tired from all the estrogen. My next lining check is Tuesday, my last check was just bloodwork and my E2 wasn’t rising high enough so we had to increase patches. Given my luck I feel like this will be the one time my lining doesn’t thicken up nicely 😕 how are you? Did you have your surgery?
@c-town18 Thanks for checking in! I'm doing well. My FET is tomorrow. I'm feeling surprisingly low stress at the moment. The upside to any prior treatment not working is that the second time around the block for me I feel like and old pro and I have much less anticipation, lol. How have you been?
@andreamm31 How have you been holding up? Have you received your blood work results yet?
@lucyb1954 Best of luck with the lining check tomorrow! Those checks can be super stressful, just because you hope everything is progressing as it should and then bam, you get a call that you need to adjust this or that and you start to wonder what your body is doing wrong. I will have blood work on Thursday morning to check my estrogen and progesterone levels post-transfer. I just told my DH yesterday that if I get a call on Thursday that something needs to be adjusted, then I might start to worry more (because that's what happened during our failed cycle back in March ).
@c-town18- Thanks for checking in! Your surgery is this week right? My lining check went good today! 8.3 already. just hoping it stays there for two more weeks until transfer. Estrogen is over 2000, so I'm def pumped full!
@lauralew- aww so excited for your transfer tomorrow! I can't wait to hear about it. the second time is less stressful in some ways. Our second DE transfer after the ERA was our successful round I'm pretty so hard for you!

@lucyb1954. Good luck on your lining check. hopefully things are going exactly as they should! And yes, I think he is just processing all this pain and watching me suffer and got lost in his own stuff for awhile.
@JamieH2000. so great your lining is cooperating. Transfer will be here before you know it.
AFM- no result yet. my DH Karyotype anaylsis came back with just his thalassemia minor which we knew he had, but that wouldn't mess anything up like this. I see my OB tomorrow for a 2 week appt after my D&C. HCG is down to 2400. Im shocked she wants to follow it to zero, but I like her thoroughness. She also will do an ultrasound tomorrow to make sure there are no retained product. I think she is nervous with how much I bled that maybe she missed something, but I just got all my records last night to give to Prague and her OR report seems like she checked multiple times. Hubby is coming around and realizing he is avoiding dealing with the sadness and ive been voicing more what I need in terms of affection and comfort. Prague has me on the bench until September which kind of sucks having to wait so long, but I know its probably for the best.

@andreamm31 this has been so awful for you, I’m so sorry ❤️ But I am very glad your doctor is being very thorough. September seems far away but it will be upon us sooner than later and you’ll get to start prepping in August and once I started prepping things have felt less like a drag. Sending ❤️❤️❤️
@laurelew are you on more progesterone this time around because you had to adjust last time? I’m sending 🍀🍀🍀 for your transfer!
I was so nervous for my lining check today but I’m at 8.7 so it looks like I’m in pretty good shape and on target for the 29th with @JamieH2000 . I have a follicle on my right ovary that’s at 8mm but they don’t seem worried about it.
@lucyb1954 They did increase my PIO dosage. I want to say the initial plan the first FET was to do 1.0 ml throughout the cycle. Following the blood draw after my first FET, they asked me to go up to 1.5 ml for the remained of the (failed) cycle. My new protocol is to start at 1.5 ml and then go up to 2.0 ml the day before the transfer and to continue at 2.0 ml throughout. I try not to stress myself out by getting bogged down in the numbers so I have never bothered to look up my blood work results (or to figure out how to use the online record management tool for my RE ) so I that is all the information I have to provide about my circumstances. Right now I'm just putting my faith and trust in the professionals to guide me in this process.
@andreamm31 I'm happy to hear that you and your hubby have been communicating much better recently. I feel like communication is always half the battle in any relationship. So often we expect the people who are closest to us, who know us best, to know what we want intuitively. I always remind myself that my DH is not a mind reader. Of course trying to get him to hear the message I am trying to convey can be a whole other challenge -- why is it that whenever anyone tries to say this is what I need right now, the other person's knee jerk reaction is to assume you're saying they're a bad partner because they're not already providing you with that?
While September seems very far away now, I also look back on the past few months and ask myself how in the world is it is June already. Your time will be here before you know it.
afm: Transfer today went well. Of course even with only drinking half the requested amount of water, they still made me release some of my urine twice before the transfer! My husband had told me that I should probably just ignore everything, drink a glass of water before leaving (it is only a 20 min drive) and I would probably be fine. The u/s tech agreed. I guess now I know if there's a next time...
Feeling slightly crampy currently but it's very mild. Next step for me will be blood work on Thursday morning to check on my estrogen and progesterone levels. FX
Wow I have missed a lot over the last 2 weeks. @andreamm31 I am so sorry, I cannot believe how much you have endured over the last few weeks and I am sorry I didn't reach out. How are you feeling and doing now? I am sending you a virtual hug and hope the physical and mental healing will happen to allow you to move forward. Your meant to be baby is awaiting in the horizon. Glad things are better with the DH, such a loss can be tough on any relationship.
@hopefuljjCongratulations girl! I would like the full story as well if you do not mind PMing me the details. Hope you are recovering well and I am sure being with your precious little girl will help make your recovery go quicker.
@lauralew, @lucyb1954, @JamieH2000 Good luck on your transfers as they come up soon! Look forward to hearing the good news
@c-town18 How are things going? When will you have your transfer?
AFM: We have spoken with the Donor Egg Program and since they ship DH sample and have the donor cycle and fertilize at a clinic overseas (Europe) they think the earliest we will receive our embryos will be 3 months so will have to wait till the fall (hopefully early fall) for the transfers. Wish it could be sooner but going to spend the summer focusing on myself and getting myself in better shape for the transfers. Will keep you posted and my apologizes that I haven't checked in as often as I should to keep up to date with everyone but you are all in my thoughts as we go through these journeys together.
Imajin99 - Ugh, sorry you have to wait but it sounds like you're making the most of it. I hope the time passes quickly for you.
andreamm31 - How was your OB follow-up? Everything looking as it should?
laurelew - Eeeek! I have everything crossed for you! Are you a test at home or wait for beta kind of girl? Or are you just going to take it a day at a time and then decide?
AFM - started lupron last night for July transfer. Here we goooooo!
@c-town18 Yay to getting started with your protocol! Always nice to reach that milestone.
afm: As of right now my plan is to wait until my beta to test (maybe test at home in the morning before the beta?). My beta is only 8dp6dt so I'm not sure how early I could expect to see a line before that. I'd rather wait and know one way or another instead of stressing myself out with negative tests due to testing too soon.
Had my post-transfer blood work this morning and they said everything looks good and to keep doing what I'm doing. Hopefully the next 6 days will fly by. I suspect they will because *TW*
my sister has a c-section scheduled on Monday to give birth to her second child, another boy! She was able to conceive via IUI after two CPs the year before.
So between that and the weekend I think (hope) that Wednesday will be here before I know it.
@lucyb1954 Thats great the lining is cooperating! So exciting you have a few buddies who just had transfers too!
@lmajin99 I think you and I will be buddies in the fall for our transfers. I had no idea you could ship embryos from Europe! Do you mind me asking how much it is to ship them? Or is it in conjunction with a clinic here?
@c-town18 So exciting you are jumping on in for a July transfer! Hopefully everything goes smoothly!
@lauralew. I agree, waiting till your beta seems totally reasonable and smart. I couldn't wait, haha. I tested at day 10dp5dt and it was negative and I was pissed, but it helped blunt the blow when my 14dp5dt beta was negative too. I bet these next few days fly by for you.
AFM: I saw my doctor yesterday and I have retained tissue. She wanted me to try the misoprostonil but I wanted to wait and see if I expel it on my own. I just have like a light period right now, but if I were to start bleeding a lot, she would have to address it. She said if my HCG doesn't go down to zero, I won't get a period, so the tissue could be pumping out hcg, so that's the other reason to want to get it out of there. So im supposed to see her in 2 weeks, but there are no appts for 4 weeks! So I will see her then for another ultrasound and if need be, she will schedule a hysteroscopy to look with a camera but also has capability to remove a little bit of tissue left over. The other thing is the genetics came back on the baby and it was a boy with mosaic trisomy 21. So that is Downs Syndrome. I had to google the mosaic portion of it because I wasn't sure what it meant but maybe that it may not always be as severe?? But I don't know too much. But it pretty much solidified for us that we are done with my eggs for good and going to move on with donor eggs (again). They just aren't healthy and survivable at this age. I feel better the past few days and husband has been very attentive and more affectionate and we have had some good talks. His mental state is better and im not crying as much, so the healing is in progress. I got a great Reiki treatment last week and acupuncture this week. We are spontaneously deciding to go to Sedona for a getaway to unwind. Part of the trip, I will be there by myself for 2 days, and Im really excited to be by myself and just unwind, journal, read, lay at the pool, hike and meditate. I always feel very connected and peaceful and re-energized in Sedona, so I feel like I need this trip for my health. And what better time to go than now when im on disability till July 1st and hubby just started working from home, so he's gonna fly out Thursday night and I will pick him up in Phoenix, then we will drive back to San Diego together on Monday. Im feeling hopeful despite the retained tissue problem...hopefully that just comes out naturally on its own and I don't need any more interventions.

@andreamm31, for what it's worth, I had a loss/d&c at 11 weeks and my period started while my hCG was still close to 60, about 3 weeks later. Good luck, I hope you don't have to take the pills.
@andreamm31 Your getaway to Sedona sounds like it will be healing for the mind, body, and soul. Also something nice to look forward to. I feel like that's something we all need right now.
@andreamm31 I'm glad you have something to look forward to -- it's so important during this process and it's something I've struggled with. This past 18 months has been always waiting to start a cycle, cycling, etc and we didn't have much time to do as many trips as we have in the past. So I'm glad you're able to take some time for yourself and just decompress. Sending hugs
@Imajin99 Good to see you! I know it feels like a long time away to transfer, but it's great you have a plan and I'm sure it will be here before you know it. Definitely during this FET I haven't been as healthy as during my OE cycles. I honestly think I wore myself out -- I was super consistent with exercise, eating GF, and healthy... I'm honestly never a terrible eater but I haven't gotten as much exercise as I'd like especially with my dog needing me so much in the last 2 month. I feel guilty about it but I think I'm mentally worn out from trying so hard. And it seems like doing good by myself right now entails relaxing.
@c-town18 yay for starting your prep! Getting real! What date are you transferring? The lupron gave me lots of hot flashes, hopefully you can stay cool during the summer
@laurelew that's exciting about your sis! I hope the next few days pass in a flash I'm glad to hear that your post-transfer levels looked good, that must feel reassuring.
@Andreamm31, Im so sorry to hear about the retained tissue:( I’m so glad hubby is being more attentive and affectionate, you deserve all the love and affection right now! The waiting is always so hard, being benched sucks when we just want to move forward and continue to our finish line. I’ve said so many times how I hate all the time I spent just wishing time away but sometimes that’s what we need to feel better, so hopefully September will come quickly for you.
@Lucyb1954 omg great lining check!!!! Yay for transfer!!!!! The 29th is just around the corner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so excited for you girl!!!
@laurelew crossing everything for you! I know how hard the wait can be but it’s not long now:) Hoping the days pass quickly! Exciting about your sister:) My older sister is pregnant with her second now, a boy this time:) for her it seems she just needs to remove polyps with a hysterscopy and then she gets pregnant the very next cycle. It’s happened twice now! Must be nice, lol.
@C-town18 Omg!!!!! Yaaaaay! You’ve begun! This is super exciting:)!!! All the exclamations!!
@JamieH2000 !! Girl! It feels like just yesterday you were getting ready for your last transfer that got you your miracle!!! This is so exciting!!!!!!!! This board is about to get rockin and rollin!
@Imajin99 hi friend!! I’ll pm you the story:) I figured they would eventually fix this site so I can connect on a Mac computer on WiFi, but no....and then I planned to use my phone as a hotspot to then post from my computer but now I’m giving up, so I’ll just PM you the story:). I’m also behind in responding to PM’s so apologies in advance if it takes me a bit! But it’s coming!
I’m so sorry you have to wait until fall:( I had so many delays during my donor journey, it made me feel so crazy, but you are totally doing the right thing by just focusing on yourself these next couple of months. If you don’t already, try to get a good meditation schedule going, it will be so helpful when it’s time to get things moving. I also did loads of positive affirmations which felt silly at first but really saved me later!
AFM just want to apologize for how delayed I’ve been in posting here. Thinking about you ladies all the time!

@andreamm31- so glad you got some answers but it’s still hard I’m sure. I guess the upside is that hopefully carrying isn’t the issue- just the eggs. I sure hope you don’t need a hysteraxopy but if you so my two have been very simple so hopefully it be much easier than the last procedure. Your trip sounds amazing and you deserve it more than anyone!
@c-town18- yay for getting this process started!! Let’s do it!
@hopefuljj- I want the full story too! So glad things are good and great to hear from you!

Back for # 2!
Thank you all for your well wishes ladies.
It is so very appreciated!!!! xoxoxoxo

IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval
IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.
FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol
Chemical pregnancy
FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN
Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2???? Miscarriage at 8 weeks. viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal
DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos
1st transfer - chemical pregnancy
2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!

Right? Am I crazy?

Just know that we are with you. I'm sending lots of hugs
I just told my DH yesterday that if I get a call on Thursday that something needs to be adjusted, then I might start to worry more (because that's what happened during our failed cycle back in March
@lauralew- aww so excited for your transfer tomorrow! I can't wait to hear about it. the second time is less stressful in some ways. Our second DE transfer after the ERA was our successful round

I try not to stress myself out by getting bogged down in the numbers so I have never bothered to look up my blood work results (or to figure out how to use the online record management tool for my RE
) so I that is all the information I have to provide about my circumstances.
FX
@hopefuljj Congratulations girl!
Will keep you posted and my apologizes that I haven't checked in as often as I should to keep up to date with everyone but you are all in my thoughts as we go through these journeys together.
andreamm31 - How was your OB follow-up? Everything looking as it should?
laurelew - Eeeek! I have everything crossed for you! Are you a test at home or wait for beta kind of girl? Or are you just going to take it a day at a time and then decide?
AFM - started lupron last night for July transfer. Here we goooooo!
afm: As of right now my plan is to wait until my beta to test (maybe test at home in the morning before the beta?).
So between that and the weekend I think (hope) that Wednesday will be here before I know it.
39 years old DH 41. Sperm looks great. We live in San Diego

I hope the next few days pass in a flash
