@andreamm31 OMG lady!  Yay!!! I’m so so thrilled for you!!!!!!  What fantastic news:)!   Hoping with everything this is indeed a miracle baby!
@LSatturo126 ohhh really?!!  Yay!  Well 5/18 will hopefully be the day if I need to be induced which my gut is saying I will need to, haha!  Now it feels like a lucky date:)
@31magnolia oh yay! It’s so great when you can feel the movement all the time and feel reassured !!    And don’t worry about the name, we did the same, just stopped taking about it and here we are a few days out and still no decision! Lol.  We will decide when we meet her.  Hahaha!
@emmasemm hi friend!! Can’t wait to join the club:)

AFM - well my IT husband finally figured out my issues with this forum!  After we tried 3 computers, all Macs, 3 different browsers with each, 2 iPhones both on safari and downloaded chrome and none of them would load the site without a good 15 minute battle of refreshing and just waiting, he let me try his work computer which is a PC....AND IT WORKED?!?!?!  so I mean, I can’t
use his work computer regularly but at least I have confirmed the issue, Or so I thought...but then it got even weirder.   I emailed the bump all this info noting to them their site is https but the community section is only http and macs and iPhones don’t allow that anymore for security reasons and added screenshots of the thousands of errors their page is throwing when you inspect the element and look at console logs in hopes they have a solution for me.....and  then I went to read updates and make a post  on my husbands work computer and I ran into a NEW issue where it wasn’t registering that I was logged in so I couldn’t reply or post...Good GRIEF.  I was about to just throw my hands up cuz it’s been MONTHS where it is miserable to get onto this page and my husband was like, have you ever tried not on WiFi? Just on your phone on cellular?   AND IT WORKED!  so I think maybe Verizon is blocking the page cuz it throws over 1600 errors even on a PC which you can see if you look and inspect the element while the page loads!   So, I’m typing on my phone as it is the only way to be on cellular but at least I got the damn page to load!

How’s that for an update!  I’m 6 days away from my due date and my update is a tech issue update! Lol.    But honestly,  this is bananas and if I ever just disappear and don’t come back please know I love you all but something has happened and I just can’t reach this damn page again.

DOR - AMH  .27 High FSH (don't even know how high)
    2 iui's to start - BFN
    IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5!    2 5AA 1 6BB  PGS results =  all abnormal :(
IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty.  Nothing made it to day 5
IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval
IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled -  looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS

Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!!  1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.

FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol
    Chemical pregnancy
    FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN
Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2????   Miscarriage at 8 weeks.  viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal :(

DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos
    1st transfer - chemical pregnancy
    2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!

  • @hopefuljj - Lol. I had to go back and edit my post. I don't know why I was thinking transfer. haha. You just have a few more days before you can hold your little one!  That's so exciting. :)
We can't agree on the last name either so we're stuck on both ends!

andreamm31 - I was out of commission for a few days and this is just the update I was hoping to find!  Wow, what a story to tell your little one one day right?  Just take this a day at a time, and hope for the best news possible at each appointment, that's all you can ask for.  Are you going to have to change your work duties or how does that work?

JamieH2000  - Any update on your clinic re: timing for you?

AFM, got the 3D saline issue sorted out with the insurance company and had my blood workup and saline sonohysterogram done. Everything looks good and I am on track (so far) for a late July/early August transfer! Hopefully Covid doesn't derail everything but we'll see.

  • @hopefuljj I had  the same trouble for weeks with my Mac and suddenly today it uploaded immediately.  I wonder if they took your advice and changed the coding so it uploads on all computers.  Cant wait to hear your next update!!
@31magnolia. 24 weeks already?!?!?!  Must feel amazing getting further along and having everything be ok.   Im sure when you see your baby, you guys will know what to name your baby!
    @LSatturo126 Thanks!!
@c-town18 I really hope this is the story I get to tell my kids one day!  And that is so great you got everything worked out and I really hope your transfer is right on track and not delayed anymore.
I work in the Surgical ICU and I fortunately do not have to take care of covid patients at this time and that will not change.  There are a few patient types I won't be able to take care of and that includes anyone with a Covid, CMV diagnosis, transplant (because of the meds), or someone who has gone to nuclear medicine and had radioisotopes placed in their body.  We have 2 other ICUS where they are putting all the covid patients and my unit is considered the "clean unit".

AFM: Im soooo nauseous, but fortunately haven't vomitted yet.  im taking it as a good sign and hoping it continues as long as it means my little one is growing and healthy.  The masks at work for 13 hours straight is horrible!  I had to wear a mask all winter because I didn't get a flu shot and it didn't bother me at all.  But now with the nausea, its making the nausea worse and I feel like im constantly suffocating.   I have a few vacation days the next 2 weeks, so I will enjoy being there less and more time at home relaxing.  Im literally doing nothing on my days off (besides acupuncture once a week) and really really enjoying this down time to rest!

@hopefuljj wishing all the best of everything! Have a very safe and easy delivery! I’m beyond excited for you!! Can’t wait for you to get that lil girl in your arms!! I thought I for sure missed it.  I was laughing reading your update thinking that’s all I had to do to get this to work is turn on my data.  It’s so bizarre I hate the new design of this site as it takes a year and a day to even find the damn page.  The app just stopped working it so dang annoying!!! Anyhoo sorry to share in the misery with you but sounds like u got a good tech on board to help...I wonder if the bump even cares.  I was looking for a spot to contact them and that took for forever too!

@31magnolia getting to viability week is an exciting one! Glad things are progressing well! Sorry names are an issue I say you get an extra vote as you’re doing the heavy lifting here ;)

sending much strength and love to the rest of you.  Seems places are starting to get things rolling again....just stay safe and keep taking every precaution!

@andreamm31 congratulations! It's truly such a beautiful thing that you got your miracle <3

I say this with absolute love -- can I ask that you put pregnancy updates in a spoiler? I know for  myself that I'm still working through some tough emotions. I'm not pregnant, I may never get naturally pregnant and I'm still really emotional. I can't be on social media because the pregnancy announcements can be really triggering for me. This board is a safe space for us who are still struggling, emotionally and with infertility, and it helps if some of the surprise images and updates can be limited. <3

@c-town18 yes! I’m expecting my period on June 2-3 so then we’ll roll into a FET prep. I’ve never done a FET... how long is the prep? 3 weeks until transfer? I’m so nervous/excited/scared...if it doesn’t take it will be pretty rough. @JamieH2000 hoping you’ll be on the summer boat too!

lucyb1954 - from what I recall, from the time I started lupron until transfer it was maybe 25-30 days?  Because you start lupron in the luteal phase, then get a period, then got in for baseline monitoring and start estrogen for 10-12 days, then have 6 days of progesterone before transfer. It is so much easier than the retrieval cycles, way fewer appointments from what I recall.  Have you thought yet about whether you would transfer 1 or 2 embryos?

@lucyb1954 Yes, depending on your protocol, about three weeks.  My prep involves estrace and estrogen patches then we add in the PIO approx 6 days before transfer.  I started the estrace yesterday and am tentatively scheduled for June 15 for my FET.  It's exciting to have so many other women transferring this summer around the same time. :)

@Imajin99 I'm happy to see you back! And it's wonderful that you get to be excited now <3 Let us know how your convos with the agency go.

Lots o' summer transfers around here! Mine is slated for June 29. Mostly petrified. Never had a BFP, ever.

@JamieH2000 wow lady, shots, pills, and patches? That's a whole lot of estrogen! I usually grow a good lining but TBH I feel like every time you say "I usually..." in this process, everything goes to pot and goes off the rails and nothing goes according to plan.
@c-town18 I hope you get your surgery soon (or did you get it already and I missed it???) and can start prep for your FET too!

@hopefuljj Been watching IG, friend, and keeping an eye out on the boards for you! I hope everything is going well on your end and you are at home being enamored with your baby girl and enjoying every minute <3 Sending hugs!

  • Well ladies, my eggs really do suck.  No heartbeat today at 10 weeks 3 days, after having a great HB at nine weeks.  I'm so over all this pain.  I guess we will plan for a return trip to Prague once I heal up and my numbers drop down. Just devastated and mad at myself for letting myself get excited and hopeful. D&C on Thursday.

andreamm31 - Ugh, my heart is just breaking for you. Don't be hard on yourself for getting excited, you had every reason to be optimistic and we all would have been the same way. *TW* I know you are probably still in shock and this is all very raw but wanted to ask if you are able to have your doctor's office perform testing after your D&C to confirm that it was abnormal embryo as opposed to something else going on (?) I had this done after my M/C at 10 weeks because I had had back to back M/Cs at that point and I was glad I did; I felt like I at least got some useful information out of such a shitty experience.

@andreamm31 oh that was not the news I was hoping to see when I saw there were so many posts overnight. So sorry for your loss. Do give yourself time to process this physically and emotionally.
I would suggest you ask about a Hysteroscopy before your next transfer to make sure you’re all healed up properly - but if they can test PoC like @c-town18 said then that’s really useful info too.

  • @lucyb1954 oh my gosh, I couldn't even imagine.  Im so sorry about your fur baby.  We are so lucky to have our fur angels walk with us for a short time until they can become our guardian angels.

@JamieH2000. Hopefully your period comes soon so you can get started!  So exciting it is almost time!  And yes, I always gotta keep putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward.  I still haven't heard when Prague will be allowing transfers, I sent them an email yesterday letting them know what happened, so hopefully they don't have any weird rules about waiting 3 months or something after a D&C.  I feel like my body will do better waiting like one cycle before starting again.  Like it will be more fertile.

@c-town18. Yes, they will be testing the baby and checking chromosome anaylsis at my D&C on Thursday.  Im really happy my doctor wants answers as much as I do.  She also did a new test on hubby and I looking at caryotype and chromosome analysis for us as well.  Hopefully those answers will help guide our next decision.  If its a normal embryo, I may consider doing IUI here for more follicles popping up and better chances of finding a normal embryo....and then having me add lovenox to this mix.  She is also having me consult with a perinatologist so we can have more experts looking at why this is happening.

@emmasemm. thank you friend.  Yes, I am anticipating they will make sure my uterus is ready before I do any further treatments.  We were so excited we were done spending money on fertility stuff and now we are just thrown back to the wolves with having to spend more.  Ughhhhhh

@laurelew. thank you so much for your prayers....I truly feel like they help me stay somewhat grounded.  Infertility definetly isn't for the weakest among us....only the strongest women can go through what we go through and keep taking on more hits to realize our dream.  I know that I could stop at any point, but I would never do that.  I will hold my baby, I just know it.  Its just a lot of pain on the way to realizing that dream.

  • @andreamm31 - For some reason I didn't notification of any new post on this page, so I'm just seeing all of this. I am so, so, so very sorry. I can't even put it into words.  Like others have said before my heart is breaking for you and I sit in tears as I'm typing this. I'll keep you in my prayers and will be sending you positive and healing thoughts. I'm so sorry girl!

  • @hopefuljj. Wow, what a scary experience.  I'm so happy she is here and doing well and now you are doing better as well.  Complications can definetly happen at any time, but it's so scary when it happens to you.  I'll be sending you good thoughts.

AFM.... You guys will not believe this .  I hemorrhaged during my D&C and lost over a liter of blood.  I have a bakari device (balloon) inflated in my uterus to tamponade the bleeder and stop me from hemorrhaging.  I'm admitted to the hospital and in a lot of pain.  And of course, no visitors.  And no food or water because I might need to go to interventions radiology to have a uterine artery embolization if it doesn't stop bleeding.  No idea if this will sideline us or what.  I'm so scared of having scaring in my uterus or issues after this.  I seriously can't catch a break 😭

@andreamm31 omg girl!!! I’m so sorry! How terrifying and not to have anyone with you... that’s just horrible! I’m really praying for you that this all ends up okay. And no food or water? [email protected]! Man, you’ve been through it in the last week. We’re all here for you, please keep us posted ❤️

  • @andreamm31 - OMG! WTH? That's insane. Please keep us posted. When you say no visitors does that include your DH? Sending positive vibes for you and your Hubby.

  • @andreamm31 I am so very very very sorry to hear everything that has gone on with you. My heart broke when I read that and was not expecting that kind of update at all. I’m also sorry you hemorrhaged. I will light a candle and say a little prayer for you. Stay strong and rest up, the best is yet to come I promise!

@hopefuljj CONGRATULATIONS! I messaged you a while back and never heard from you and was a bit worried. Hope you heal quickly and rest up too. Enjoy every minute with your little one because it goes so fast.

And for the rest of you ladies....hoping all your transfers stick like monster glue!
