@anna1891 what was your stim protocol last time? While there’s really not much to do about AMH level, quality can sometimes be improved and sometimes finding the best protocol for you will result in better quality eggs.
@c-town18. You got this girl! Cheapies for days!!! Cant believe its already here for you! How exciting!! Baby dust to you girlie!
@anna1891. I think all of the advice every gave you is spot on. You will find so much love and support in this group. And right now, things seem very bleak and hard. But you will find that you are more resilient than you ever knew possible. Sometimes we have to go through these challenging times and its completely unfair....and expensive. But please don't give up hope that your dream baby will come to you.
@lmajin99. The flight is only 2 hours from San Diego! And we recently had to cancel a trip to Florida because of covid, so we have a $500 credit on delta, who happens to fly nonstop to Salt Lake City for about $200, so our flights will be taken care of, which is nice!
@Hopeful_mom Thanks for the sweet words! How old is your little now??
@JamieH2000 Thanks friend!! Good news is always welcome after all the crap that has gone on. How are you feeling?? Are you skipping a month or going to go straight into another transfer? Thank god for more embryos. Praying for you girl!
AFM: I had my perinatology appt Tuesday and she agreed that my eggs suck and this why I haven't been successful. She agrees donor eggs is really my best option. But she did say she has seen quite a few cases of woman with low AMH, poor egg quality using donor eggs, having a successful pregnancy and then suddenly have a healthy pregnancy after that on their own, so not to give up hope of it happening after the first child. She said the body somehow gets "reset". Im not holding my breath for that, but it would be cool if it happened. She also said im very high risk for bleeding in my next pregnancy and also during labor. But I already knew that and my doctor feels confident that knowing im a bleeder, will just make everyone that more cautious and ready if it happens. Saw my OB Wednesday and no more retained tissue!! !WOOHOOO!!! Shockingly, 6 weeks later, my HCG is now 56. She said it drops by half around this time frame each week, so it could be a few more weeks before it is zero. But I already got my period July 8th.
Im feeling hopeful and positive and very excited. Having another call with the Utah Fertility Center on Tuesday to discuss the donors Gina and I chose. We got 5 that we like and hopefully there is a high producer in there that will work great for a shared cycle.
Hope you ladies have a great weekend!

@c-town18 thinking of you! @JamieH2000 I've found during this second-go-round that I am expecting things to go wrong, so when they do go wrong it takes longer to sink in and is a longer, slower pain. I am not sure if you feel the same. @anna1891 welcome! I can't think of a better group than this one.
AFM, I went into the doc today for them to administer my Lupron Depot shot. The nurse and the dr both looked scared for me when talking about the side effects. I'm really dreading the next two months. I go back in a month for another shot. I didn't realize it was just one shot a month; better than the progesterone I suppose in that respect.
@andreamm31- I love your update! I’m so glad you have no more retained tissue and you are getting going on a new donor!!
@lyrnwnab- ugh, the shot side effects do not sound fun. I hope it’s better than they make it sounds! We are here to listen thru all the side effects tho!! Ya I think wit the next transfer I’m not gonna have my hopes up nearly as much...
I have a saline sono and a biopsy on Friday to check for inflammation so we will how those go. Already started vaginally probiotics now so not much more we can do I think. Ready to transfer again mainly bc I hate being in Limbo!

andreamm31 - Great update! Are you thinking the shared Utah cycle will be your back-up plan if you cannot get back to Prague in the next couple of months, or is Utah looking like a possible Plan A now either way? Ooooooh, this is exciting.
JamieH2000 - Ugh, I'm sorry you're in limbo. Fingers crossed that all your testing comes back normal this week and you can get moving forward again. Did you feel more optimistic after talking to your RE? I know you really like her based on how you've talked about her in the past and clearly she is thorough and doesn't waste any time so that's good.
lrynwnab - I don't have any experience with Lupron Depot shots but I'm hoping your side effects are milder than they are describing. We're all here for you and have your back in this!
AFM:
I already posted this on the June DE FET board but after making the rookie mistake of testing way too early and having drama yesterday with some inconsistent test results, I finally got a slightly darker BFP on an FRER this morning. So I'm feeling good and cautiously optimistic until beta this Friday. We'll see.
@c-town18- omg yay!! seeing that darker line is the best thing ever!! Can’t wait for your beta on Friday! I feel some better after talking to my RE. But I have been around IF long enough that she didn’t tell me anything I didn’t know... basically it could have been the embryo, pgs isn’t perfect and some pgs still don’t have the metabolic energy to keep growing. But besides checking for inflammation and polyps, we just won’t know...

@laurad75- right! At this point we know as much as they do really... we are doing a saline on Friday with a biopsy. If I have polyps, it will be another hystersxopy (had one in feb to remove polyps) and if the biopsy shows infection/inflammation, it will be antibiotics and then probably another biopsy to check it worked. So while I want answers, I really don’t want another surgery or more delays with antibiotics...

@lrynwnab Glad you feel fine so far! I don't really know what the depot shots are. I did lupron during my cycles and didn't find it so bad although the depot shot is probably something entirely different
@JamieH2000 I hope that on Friday your uterus looks beautiful! I'm hoping that the embryo you transferred just was maybe not the strongest so you can get started again soon and not have to do surgery I know your lining was/is a struggle, but every cycle is something different...@laurad75 had good luck with her lining this time even though I know she's had those struggles too.
@andreamm31 hope you had a good appointment yesterday!
@lucyb1954 Thanks Lucy! This treatment is I guess what they do when a BCL6 test comes back with traces of endometriosis. This shot basically puts me into temporary menopause, the doc said. It's just one shot a month, for 2 months, then I can do another transfer and it should greatly reduce the risk of miscarriage, so they say. I m/c at 8 weeks with a PGS normal embryo so this was their next idea.
@c-town18 LADY! I’m so sorry I missed this!!!! This is soooooooo exciting!!!!!!! Cautiously thrilled for you:)
I don’t want to start another rant but how the heck has the Bump not yet fixed their issues!! I hate how delinquent I am on this forum now but it’s so hard to do it from my iPhone! This issue has persisted for months! Are there really not that many people trying to use a Mac computer?!!!! I’m a product manager and work mainly with mobile Apps and websites so I get it, it’s hard but THIS is ridiculous!
Ugh, so so dumb.
@JamieH2000 good luck with the saline sono and biopsy! I hope you are able to jump right into your next transfer:)
@lrynwnab one shot down! So that’s good:). Good luck with the side effects, you can handle this:) it was really just the hot flashes for me that got super annoying.
@andreamm31 I’m so thrilled for you, what an amazing plan!! I love that you will be sharing this experience with someone and you guys will have genetically related kids!!! That is beyond cool!! You so deserve this next part to go smoothly so I’m rooting hard for you!
AFM - I keep wanting to have a little free time to sit down and write my first ever letter to my babies donor!! I want to thank her and send her a picture and tell her my story. I want her to know who I am, and do that early so we can keep communication open:) she’s got 3 beautiful kids of her own so they will be ‘diblings’ to my girl. But I feel like if I start to write it it’s gonna be miles long. Maybe I’ll just start writing it in little pieces here and there and edit myself down along the way:) I got furloughed from my job this week due to Covid and I’m thrilled to get to stay home longer with the little nugget guilt free! I was so worried about maternity leave ending in 3 weeks. So maybe I’ll find some time if I can just figure out how to get her to sleep longer than 10 minutes and not only in my arms during the day.

Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5 IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.

I thought I would post here and see if I can get some insight -- my RE recently diagnosed me with DOR, low AMH and low AFC. I had low AMH (0.62) but borderline normal AFC going into my first IVF cycle in 2017 which resulted in 9 eggs, 2 blasts and 1 take home baby girl who is 2 now. We were looking back into my bloodwork since we would have to start fresh again and the RE wanted to redo everything and now my AMH is even lower (0.28 from 0.62) and my AFC was down to 6 from around 11-14 back in 2016/2017.
I did a standard protocol for my first IVF cycle in 2017 and my RE was really happy with getting 9 mature eggs. He doesn't like to overstimulate. I feel like we got super lucky with our first cycle working out despite the numbers and am nervous that we've spent our luck AND about my even worse numbers (the RE said he would expect 4-5 eggs this time if we did the same protocol which seems low for us to get any healthy embryos). I've had one natural pregnancy in 2016 that ended in M/C, likely due to developmental abnormalities based on the u/s that showed enlarged yolk sac. Our transfer which resulted in our daughter also had a vanishing twin. So I'm not hugely optimistic about the quality of my eggs either. I've had a couple what appear to be chemicals since my daughter was born where I've gotten a squinter but then had a normal period and low/negative beta that went down. I think my egg quality is just poor :-( I'm not really sure where to go from here....if there are different protocols we can try, etc. Just feeling a little lost and disappointed.

Hi @mbradfo2 welcome! Also sorry for what you've been through. IF sucks no doubt about it. However, if you do respond to stims, there is always hope (as a poor responder myself). What was "standard protocol"? And how long did you stim for?
Looking over my old protocol, it looks like the schedule was gonal-F and menopur for 12 days with ultrasounds pretty much every day, cetrotide added in once follicles reached 14 mm on u/s. Then the HCG injection was scheduled tentatively after 12 days of stimming based on the ultrasound/bloods being satisfactory wtih ER two days after HCG injection. I didn't do any additional days as I recall so that should have been it. I also took DHEA, baby aspirin, CoQ10 and a prenatal vitamin daily.

If that protocol worked for you in the past, it’s not a bad one to start with. Is human growth hormone legal where you are? It can enhance quality. Also what did you prime with?
mbradfo2 - Wow, what a great result you got on your first cycle! My thought is that if you had success a few years ago with a certain protocol and your RE is recommending it again even with your updated numbers, I would give it a shot again (?) If you body doesn't respond to the protocol as your RE hopes then maybe the retrieval would be cancelled, but at least then you'd know. I'm a little out of the game with which protocols seem to work best for DOR women, but I know some of the other ladies on this board might have some suggestions.
mbradfo2 Welcome to this lovely group of ours, based on a success and good results on your first protocol I think the RE is correct that you should try that again and see how it works out this time. Unfortunately, I do not have much info to pass on despite have had several different approaches and protocols but all resulting in extremely poor response (only 1 follicle developing making us convert to IUI).
@c-town18 Good news! Hope the beta went well today.
@JamieH2000 Hope those procedures went well for you. Even though I have dealt with IF for so many years I feel like I barely know what is good to get tested and know. Can you advise how the inflammation impacts the chance of implantation. I have been overweight and been struggling to lose weight and this stay/work at home has not helped and I have put on some more extra pounds. Was really hoping to spend the summer getting healthier before DE. Will this possibly impact me as I constantly feel like my whole body is inflamed? And how what is vaginally probiotics used for to help?
Imajin99 - Thanks for asking! Below is an update I posted to another board and meant to add here:
*TW* Blah, beta at 9dp5dt is 32. Nurse says they brought me in a day early since tomorrow is a Saturday, and typically at 10 days post-transfer they want to see it at a minimum of 50. She says she's "not super concerned" at this point but I go back on Monday and obviously that number will be very important. I felt pinching on Saturday night that I'm pretty sure was the embryo implanting, so I'm hoping the late implantation explains why it's so low. Ugh, it's going to be a long weekend. FML. *End TW*
@c-town18- I commented on the other thread, but crossing everything for good numbers on Monday!
@lmajin99- so the biopsy really checks for infection (and abnormal cells like cancer I think). I can’t remember exactly how my RE explained it, but my results in March showed what she called mild inflammation- she said she didn’t really fully believe the result I got was actually an issue? But we treated it with a z pack just in case. Have you ever had a uterine biopsy to check for infection? I my Beat Infertility did a whole episode on testing for the uterus and lining where my RE talked about the different type of biopsy tests. As far as overall inflammation in the body, I have read some about that. But don’t know how much I believe in it effecting implantation. I mean I try to cut back on sugar and caffeine and fake sugar during my transfer cycles. But whenever I get hard on myself, I just remember that people on drugs get pregnant so...
@mbradfo2- welcome! I didn’t know you decided to try for 2!! I’m sorry to hear about your AMH and AFC. It’s really hard to know how it will go until you try! The fact that you were successful once is a good sign! I guess I would try a high stim protocol and get as many as you can. Are you able to do multiple rounds if needed?
@hopefuljj- that’s so great you can write your donor a letter! I would def write it in phases and take your time!
AFM- had my saline yesterday and it looked clear! So yay for no surgery. Just waiting to see what the biopsy says. I don’t want to have to mess around with antibiotics and another biopsy after, but if there wasn’t an infection, than what went wrong? Just hoping the next one is the one!

@Imajin99 I think the whole inflammation thing is hard to say. Throughout my whole OE cycles I was sooo healthy...gluten free, refined sugar free, lots of fruits and veggies, exercising...and in the end, I really don't know that it helped. I think it does depend on whether you have sensitivities to things or Hashimoto's, but it's so hard to say. Anyway I really fell off the bandwagon after my failed OE cycles. I tried to get back on for my FET but I don't feel like I was doing my utmost best, I think I just lost the willpower after my failures and depression following OE cycles. I think doing the basics is pretty good -- and ya know, be easy on yourself too! Do you do acupuncture? That can help with inflammatory issues.
@lucyb1954 Thanks for the advice and encouragement. Yes I will try to stick to the basics. I did acupuncture before and will start up again soon and you are right it did really help. I understand the depression, I feel so down lately and don't sleep well, family Dr has put me a mild anti-depressant to help me through this hump. I am sleeping better this week so hopefully it continues. Work continues to be busy and I have a move to a new house ina few days so been stressed with that as well. How you doing and feeling?
@JamieH2000 Good news with the results and no surgery I don't think I had a biopsy before but we I did have a HSG and the saline test twice but think here in Canada they refer to it as Hysteroscopy but thought it was just a camera, everything has always looked normal so maybe I am overthinking it. Once I find out more about my timing for the DE (keeping fingers crosses they send out the sample to Donor's home country soon)...its been a month now since they have had the sample, plan on emailing my RE and ask what he recommends as now everything was done back in March prior to COVID.
@c-town18 Fingers and toes crossed for your test on Monday. Hope you are having a restful and relaxing weekend.
@Imajin99 Wow, a new house, that's exciting! But yes, moving is stressful, I think it's one of the top most stressful events in life. My final OE failure was so hard on me, I also am on antidepressants for support. Those few months after it were really dark and it's totally understandable to gain some weight. Sometimes the most you can do is just the basics and not get down on yourself for needing the support of some cookies I did lose a bit of weight in the FET prep. The amount of estrogen made me kind of sick to my stomach but it was kind of nice to lose some of the post-IVF spare tire around the middle REALLY hope they are able to ship everything soon! They will probably want to do another saline ultrasound on you but I don't know about any other tests. And thanks for asking, I'm doing pretty well. Putting more in spoiler in case it's a trigger for anyone.
I mostly just want to puke every moment which sucks But am still so grateful to be in this place where I never thought I'd get to. I have my 7 week U/S this Thursday and I think that's when they hope to hear the heartbeat. I am very nervous but just trying to plug along and put one foot in front of the other
@JamieH2000 "But whenever I get hard on myself, I just remember that people on drugs get pregnant so..." Amen. Truer words were never spoken.
@Imajin99 Wow. It sounds like you have a lot going on right now. I will say that it seems like every clinic has their own prep procedures, etc. Unless you have a reason to doubt your RE (hopefully not), I personally believe that the best thing you can do is to trust the experts and let them work their magic to help get you where you need to go. I feel like it is so easy to get caught up in comparing your protocol to other women's who may be doing more or less than you. The only person who knows your complete profile the best is the RE/your clinic. Best of luck on your move in a few days! Hopefully you hear back from the donor's clinic soon.
@mbradfo2 Welcome to the board. I'm sorry to hear about your numbers. I don't have any insight to add into IVF with OE since my stim was a massive failure and I didn't have enough mature egg to retrieve so we converted that cycle to an IUI (which was a BFN). If you have a protocol that worked for you in the past, it may be best to start with that protocol this go around if that is what your RE recommends. Best of luck and please keep us updated on your journey.
@lucyb1954 I am right there with you. The nausea and queasiness all day every day is the worst. Today has been an especially difficult day for me. Fortunately I am not prone to throwing up and have no had to throw up yet but sometimes it can still feel just as frustrating. I mentioned it to one of the nurses at my clinic and she suggested B6 vitamins. You can take 25mg up to three times a day. While it doesn't take away the nausea and queasiness completely, I believe that it does help somewhat. Every hour and every day is anew adventure.
@JamieH2000. Great news about your saline ultrasound! YIPPEE for no surgery! Hopefully the biopsy gives you more answers and you can continue to move forward with a transfer! And my sentiments exactly....these drug addicted homeless people with hep c and HIV get pregnant....sooooooo we should all be able to have our babies if they can.
@hopefuljj. I know for some, furlough is a terrible thing, but Im sure as a new mama, you are doing a little happy dance to have more time with your little nugget. She clearly loves her mama and that's why she won't sleep unless she is on you. But for real, hopefully she grows out of that so you can get a few things done during the day and some rest yourself.
@mbradfo2. welcome! I am also a low AMH around your numbers and AFC of 5. My doctor stimmed me pretty heavily with high doses of Gonal F and menopur, and we did try HGH and lupron. But I think my body hated getting such high doses and my eggs pretty much would fall apart. But I have no problem getting pregnant with my abnormal eggs naturally....my body just revolted against the stims. But everyone is different. If you had success before, I think there is no reason to think you won't be successful this time. You may need to do a few IVF cycles though to egg bank so you have a few embryos to work with. I would mentally prepare for more than 1 IVF cycle.
@lmajin99. I cant believe the sample still hasn't made it to the donors country. What a stressful wait....probably way worse than the 2 week wait because you just don't know when its all gonna come together and your embryo makes it back to you. And with a move this week too. Thats a lot girl. Im preparing to move next month too and buying and selling my condo has been a lot .....and getting ready for a possibly transfer in September or October makes for a busy few months. Hopefully your move takes your mind off the fertility stuff for a little bit and keeps you busy and distracted while you wait.
@lucyb1954. Cant wait for the update on Thursday! I think the insane nausea right off the bat is a good sign! Praying for you girlie!
@lauralew. Hopefully this nausea is short-lived and you start to feel good soon!

Posted to FET board but wanted to keep the girls on this board in the loop too: *TW* Some good news for today ladies! Beta is 112, up from my measly 32 which was taken 70 hours prior. So that's a doubling time of 39 hours. Going back on Wednesday. Trying not to get too excited but I also keep thinking holy sh*t, could I possibly wind up being a low beta success story? We'll see. *End TW*
Imajin99 - IF left me in such a low place mentally a few years back. And it's hard for anyone to understand who hasn't been through it themselves; for me it was a terrible combination of depression and shock and panic. I'm glad you and your primary care doc are aware of it and you're addressing it. We're all here to listen anytime you need to talk about how you're feeling. I hope your new place is fabulous!
@c-town18 Thank you for your kind words! That is some good doubling up and happy to see your post. @laurelew You are so correct, I trust my RE and will do what is advised. Thank you for the continued support. andreamm31 & @lucyb1954 Thanks for the support and yes moving can be sooooooooooooooo stressful. I was told the process to go through an international agency was going to take longer but once we signed the paperwork I just want it to happen now or soon. Hoping September or Octobers at the latest. Will keep you posted.
@andreamm31 The high stim making my eggs be even worse quality is what worries me! I can deal with the side effects, the only thing that has ever really bothered me is the progesterone (I get HORRIBLE hot flashes and mood swings). And since out of 3 pregnancies (1 twin, 1 natural), I had two losses with my regular quality eggs...
@JamieH2000 We're exploring it since we're likely going to be able to get some cash out on our refinance and could cover another cycle plus the new roof our house needs (yay). So I've started the process with the RE, but DH is concerned that we'll have an even worse cycle now and it might be too hard on me emotionally. It's something we're discussing.
@lucyb1954 Forgive my ignorance, but what is priming? What drugs are used for that? I literally just followed exactly what my RE told me to do and didn't do much research during my first cycle.Good luck with your u/s!

WE HAVE A DONOR!!! Woohoooo!!! So @ladyp0tter and I have an official donor who is gorgeous and has our green eyes and brown hair. We are going to @lucyb1954 clinic in Utah! I just booked my husbands flight for August 19th. He has to fly there and give 2 sperm sample 48 hours apart so he will be there the 19th -22nd. I guess they deal with frozen sperm when you are coming from far away. But that's fine since last minute flights for the retrieval would be more expensive. We decided to PGS test so we have a while before things get moving as our donor is also in the middle of a cycle and is going to go back to back. We are thinking we might be doing our transfers sometime late September or early October. Im super excited and anxious to get moving, but I think the timing will be good since I will hopefully be done moving boxes from my move or lifting heavy things because I know I will be restricted after a transfer. Life is definetly very interesting with buying a house, selling a condo, figuring out a donor cycle, and working as an ICU Nurse right now. Im happy Im keeping it together right now, hahaha.

Hi @andreamm31 so excited to hear your plans! Yes, it's so much better to do your transfer after you've moved and done all the heavy lifting. I'm glad you found a donor that you all agree on, love, and are excited about. Honestly, two of the most important things for me ended up being reliability and being a proven donor. Thrilled for you! Lmk when you come into SLC
@mbradfo2 you'll either prime with estrogen or BCP. Generally speaking estrogen is better for folks with low AMH.
AFM pretty much stayed in bed all weekend feeling pukey blechhhhhh....
andreamm31 - YES! What a fabulous update. I know what a great feeling it is when you lock in a donor you're excited about. Eeeeek, I'm so pumped for you! Late Sept/early October is not far off at all.
@andreamm31 lady! What fantastic and exciting news!!!!! I’m so thrilled for you and can’t wait for it to be your turn!
@c-town18 omg lady, when do you go back again???!!! Did you go back in Wednesday after you got the 112 beta???????!!!!!! Good god I’m having sweats over here because there is nothing quite like getting thrown into beta limbo, I’m having flashbacks...

@lucyb1954 omg wait, did you have your ultrasound?!!!???! I can’t keep up cuz this board is so action packed right now, lol!
@JamieH2000 that’s awesome news about the saline sono! I hope you get the results soon from the biopsy. If it turns out that is good too, don’t freak yourself out about what went wrong, it just doesn’t work sometimes as terrible as that is. I’m not really one to talk since I did like every test in the book cuz I thought if I did it all then it would have to work and it still didn’t with a PGS Normie from a donor :-/. I’m so so hoping this next one just works, and I’m so glad you have a decent amount of embryos from your donor cycle. I’m already nervous about what will happen when I try for another since I only have 2 left and it just doesn’t work for me sometimes since I have had 3 not work. 2 PGS tested OE and one DE. Hang in there friend, you’ve got this!!!!!!!!!!

hopefuljj - Hi! Yes, my third and final beta was last Wednesday:
Beta today at 14dp5dt is 323! So progression was 7/24=32; 7/27=112, 7/29=323. Still just being cautiously optimistic here because of the slow start but shit I'll take it! Whew. Go for an U/S next Wednesday.
@hopefuljj yes I got my scan, I meant to write you about it!
Baby was measuring right on track with heartbeat at 153, perfect! Implanted at the top of the uterus, which is great too. I'm pretty pukey which sucks, but otherwise hanging in there. They're letting me come in for an extra ultrasound on Friday
Sorry I have been MIA! we were out in the woods at a cabin and camping all last week. So nice. but hard to be back to reality!
@lucyb1954- omg congrats! such a huge milestone!! I'm so happy for you!! hopefully you will start to feel better soon and can enjoy this awesome time a little more!
@c-town18- Yesss!! those are strong rises! keep it coming with good news
@andreamm31- yay for having a donor! sounds like everything is working out to some master plan or something! i think its very good they are freezing the sperm just in case. You sure do have lots going on the next few months. Hopefully time will fly!
AFM- finally got my biopsy results and i have chronic endometritis (not endometriosis). Its an infection in the uterine lining. Its nice to have a reason for the chemical. But I'm so bummed yet ANOTHER thing went wrong (that we checked for in March and wasn't wrong!). Like seriously? So now its two weeks of strong antibiotics and another biopsy. Probably at least 1.5 months until a transfer. Just crazy that nothing can ever go easy....

Yes, it's a girl! It was our highest rated embryo. Plus I wanted a girl anyway and my boyfriend didn't know how to decide so the highest rated seemed like a good option. I am 7wk6d today
Re: Low AMH Level

@JamieH2000 I hope that on Friday your uterus looks beautiful! I'm hoping that the embryo you transferred just was maybe not the strongest so you can get started again soon and not have to do surgery
@andreamm31 hope you had a good appointment yesterday!
@JamieH2000 good luck with the saline sono and biopsy! I hope you are able to jump right into your next transfer:)
@lrynwnab one shot down! So that’s good:). Good luck with the side effects, you can handle this:) it was really just the hot flashes for me that got super annoying.
Homozygous MTHFR Cr677
DOR - AMH .27 High FSH (don't even know how high)
2 iui's to start - BFN
IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5! 2 5AA 1 6BB PGS results = all abnormal
IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5
IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval
IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.
FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol
Chemical pregnancy
FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN
Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2???? Miscarriage at 8 weeks. viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal
DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos
1st transfer - chemical pregnancy
2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!

*TW* Blah, beta at 9dp5dt is 32. Nurse says they brought me in a day early since tomorrow is a Saturday, and typically at 10 days post-transfer they want to see it at a minimum of 50. She says she's "not super concerned" at this point but I go back on Monday and obviously that number will be very important. I felt pinching on Saturday night that I'm pretty sure was the embryo implanting, so I'm hoping the late implantation explains why it's so low. Ugh, it's going to be a long weekend. FML. *End TW*

@JamieH2000
Good news with the results and no surgery
@c-town18 Fingers and toes crossed for your test on Monday. Hope you are having a restful and relaxing weekend.

@laurelew You are so correct, I trust my RE and will do what is advised. Thank you for the continued support.

I was told the process to go through an international agency was going to take longer but once we signed the paperwork I just want it to happen now or soon. Hoping September or Octobers at the latest. Will keep you posted.
The high stim making my eggs be even worse quality is what worries me! I can deal with the side effects, the only thing that has ever really bothered me is the progesterone (I get HORRIBLE hot flashes and mood swings). And since out of 3 pregnancies (1 twin, 1 natural), I had two losses with my regular quality eggs...
@JamieH2000
We're exploring it since we're likely going to be able to get some cash out on our refinance and could cover another cycle plus the new roof our house needs (yay). So I've started the process with the RE, but DH is concerned that we'll have an even worse cycle now and it might be too hard on me emotionally. It's something we're discussing.
@lucyb1954
Forgive my ignorance, but what is priming? What drugs are used for that? I literally just followed exactly what my RE told me to do and didn't do much research during my first cycle.Good luck with your u/s!

@mbradfo2 you'll either prime with estrogen or BCP. Generally speaking estrogen is better for folks with low AMH.
AFM pretty much stayed in bed all weekend feeling pukey blechhhhhh....
