@cheshyre319 I'm on board for a PG whenever, but I think the general consensus was May/June to give more lurkers a chance to participate and become familiar and for everyone to generally get to know each other more before we moved to a more intimate group.

@sunshine2417 I typically am but Hannah B was not my favorite so not sure if I will watch this season or not. I know it premieres tonight which I am missing but even when I say I'm not going to watch a season I typically end up binging the first few episodes on Hulu I missed and get sucked back in haha!
@sunshine2417 I am! I didn't realize it was starting already! I thought for sure Bachelor in Paradise would be on first. I am not really a fan of Hannah B either but I wasn't a fan of Colton and I watched that season too lol. I'm definitely a watch-the-next-day-on-Hulu girl.

@diner04, @ljmoon6, and @pj_soccer, I only started watching first during Arie's season (thank you pregnancy and SAHM life) and haven't really liked any of the main people so far, but I end up loving BIP and Winter Games much more than the actual show. Hannah B is faaaar from my favorite, but I didn't like Arie either, and I was liking Colton until about 3/4ths of the way through Beka's season and then I didn't like him anymore so that season was also a bust of ridiculousness!
@sunshine2417 totally down for a Bachelorette thread! I am not a fan of Hannah B, but it's like a car accident. I just can't look away. I always spoil the ending for myself with Reality Steve and find that I enjoy the season a lot more that way! I usually watch the next day as well.

@zuuls_mom I've always wondered if I want to give it a chance knowing who they pick at the end first and then watching the season unfold from there.... I always justify "well, once I know, then I can go back and rewatch it..." but let's be real, who would ever actually go back and rewatch it all?!? NEWP!
@sunshine2417 yeah, I love knowing and then analyzing everything as it unfolds! It takes away some of the suspense, but adds a layer of fun with trying to pinpoint what moment they choose them.

I’m just slogging though work, crossing everything that they don’t add any inpatient echos that I’m expected to stay and do even after my shift ends. I want to get home to watch my son’s soccer game, he’s playing his friend’s team today. Should be entertaining.
@lillywonderland when you weren’t around much earlier this week, I thought you’d already headed to HI! Extra boo to the real reason you weren’t here ☹️
@RedBreast35@duewithpu2 I am with you ladies on the tiredness. Although not due to children. Just shitty sleep. So hard to focus on a computer screen today. Plus it's raining here and it makes me want to curl up in bed with a book.
Another one to the tired and unproductive at work club! I woke up feeling SO hot and sweaty at like 3am and it was a B falling back asleep. This summer is gonna be super fun all fat and uncomfortable!
Also, I just crunched some rough numbers and even with the raises DH and I are getting at work, with the upcoming daycare expenses for 2, we are gonna be cutting things pretty close

@zuuls_mom daycare has me in the same boat! We are banking on DS getting into 5 day a week Head-start, but since we are over the income limit we won’t know until August if there is a spot for him.
Ugh I'm sorry you're in the same boat @duewithpu2! It's so stressful. I knew it was going to happen so I am trying to save as much as possible and we will need to cut back on some more frivolous stuff, but the thought of being stressed by money makes me stressed and DH does NOT handle money stress well either so this could get interesting.

@zuuls_mom, @duewithpu2 We need a new car, too. Boo! We’ll be okay financially with 2 kids in daycare (and 2 car payments 😳), but it still sucks to have to justify every small-ish purchase when we are so used to just buying what we want (within reason of course - we’re not buying 14k gold toilets here and my socks have holes in them).
On the plus side, DS just got like $100 a month cheaper since he’s considered 2 (as of next month). Hallelujah!
@zuuls_mom the past two nights I've woken up in the middle of the night covered in sweat - last night twice! And it's not even hot here.
And I'm having a terrible time getting to sleep initially. We went to bed at midnight and at 1:30 after about six trips to pee and a lot of trying to get comfortable I finally took a tylenol pm, which helped me drift off.
Raising hand for being tired and MIA. I just don't have the flexibly to be on here at work much, and by the time I get home I'm too tired to function. Where is that second tri energy boost?
I am joining the tired train DD was up a couple times last night as she is teething again. Also we have an event for incoming students happening tonight at work so I get to stay late.
I'm also extremely tried. DS is getting 1-2 of his second molars, has a cold, and is going through some sorta sleep regression (I think laguage explosion).
All I can do is go to work and keep my toddler alive. Keeping up with the daily chores feels impossible. Plus I'm a part-time student and I haven't got anything done for my class.
@dinosaur wait, is the language explosion/sleep regression a thing? (I obviously need to read up on toddler development...) That would explain some things at my house too...
Ooooh. I’ll have to read up about this sleep regression / language explosion thing. DS has been waking about 1x per night, but he usually just puts himself back to sleep. Not gonna lie, I would love his language to explode soon because I’m kinda sorta sick of “mine” and “choo-choo” ALL. THE. TIME.
Echoing the tired and overwhelmed feeling... my husband has been traveling too much for work, my almost 3 year old doesn't sleep unless shes in bed with me, had my car in the shop this week due to a flat tire that I got at 9pm in the rain on mothers day, work is busy, and I've done 0 for this new baby, literally NOTHING. But hi ladies!! I'm still around !
@RedBreast35 yeah I'm not sure it's actually a thing, but he already had his 18 month regression. He's picking up a word a day now, and they obviously do have regressions when they're picking up a skill. So... Idk (my phone needs a shrug emoji).
Ugh add me to the crap sleep club. What’s the kind of sleep called where your eyes were closed all night but nothing restful ever happens? That’s been the last 4 nights. It’s awful. To top that off I’ve had a nuts weeks at work. I’m working from home this afternoon just to unwind and am hoping this leads to a restful night of sleep.
🙋🏻♀️Me too with the sleep, and feeling so tired! I’ve decided that kids sleep like crap for years and pretty much just want to be with other people when they are sleeping. I’m hoping when this baby gets a little older, my son will share a room sometimes at night with his brother and maybe be cozy comfy satisfied that way!!!? One can hope.
DS had tubes put in his ears this morning but seems to be back to normal now. Rainy and blah here plus waking up with him at 3:30am due to (hopefully the last) ear infection is making for one tired mama!!

@cateyes543 We had tubes put in DS’s ears back in September. Ear infection free since then!! (KNOCKS ON WOOD). He’ll be back to normal before you know it!!
I have a little baby shower drama happening. My very sweet, retired grandmother really wants to throw me a shower but she doesn't have the means (physically and financially) to do it, so she's coming up with all of these requirements that have to happen in order for her to throw the shower and it's stressing me out a little. So far it has to be at her church (I'm not religious...?) and I'm limited to 10 people (with a 30 person-ish guest list.) So now I have to have two showers and figure out who is going each one. I have three other people who have offered to host and allow her to co-host but she won't hear of it.
I am truly SO honored that my friends and family want to celebrate my baby and I, and honestly, all I want is him, healthy, and in my arms. I will buy everything used on Facebook market place (except the car seat!!) if I have to.
Should I just go with the flow and let whoever plan whatever? It's not my vision for a baby shower but maybe it doesn't have to be?
@nomangos23 could you let your grandma do her shower as a more intimate baby-celebration and then have one of the others who has offered to host throw the 'actual' shower? Have everyone invited to Grandma's shower also attend the other, but not bring a gift? Or maybe grandma could do a 'luncheon' for your selected 10, gift-free, and not consider it a shower? It is definitely very sweet that everyone wants to be involved and honor you and baby - but I get the overwhelming stress and desire to make everyone happy without ruffling feathers along the way.
