Hi, this will be my first baby and even the first time I'm pregnant. Hubby and I have been trying for a year. Pretty excited to get to know all of you.
Hi! I'm a STM due 5/28 - so I'm barely pregnant haha. Just got the BFP this morning - DH and I high-fived, and he went to work. I currently stay at home with my 10 mo DS. My BMB with him was an amazing group of moms and we talk every day! Very excited to be here!
Hello ladies! My DH (Dear Husband) and I are expecting our first LO (Little One) on May 7, 2019. We have a gut feeling we’re having a little girl, so you’ll probably hear me refer to her as she or Baby Tot haha. I LOVE using the BUMP esp because of their 3D interactive viewing of the baby. A couple of coworkers of mine get weekly updates on our little tadpole. Anyways! I am SO excited to have a community of May moms and I wish y’all a happy 8-9 months to come!
Hi everyone! Just got my BFP yesterday so we are expecting baby #2! Our daughter is 18 months. I’m super horrible with tracking so I don’t even know an exact due date. I believe around 05/22 though.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you mamas!
I’m Chloe- I have a 14 month daughter so this will be my second. I’m 39 and this was my last chance to have another baby before I turn 40 on June 5th. DD was a June baby and I loved having the summer off, so I’m pumped about a May baby. Will likely have a repeat C-section.
TW I had 2 MMC before DD and a CP in April, and I’m 39- so I’m very tenuous about this pregnancies.
Hello, crazy how me and my fiancé woke up one day and said let’s try for our son. We looked at my calendar, which we had been using for 4 years since the birth of our daughter. But we had been using it to avoid ovulation week. This time around we said okay sex during ovulation week! We had sex the 3 days it said boy and 2 weeks later! BAM pregnant. Guess we both fertile! Due May 16! Today marks 5 weeks and still NO SYMPTOMS
I have been TTC for 6 months following BCPs. I got my BFP 9/07 at 10 DPO. I had some spotting at 9 DPO which I thought was the start of my period b/c every month I got period at 9 DPO but the next morning the spotting stopped so I took a test now here I am. I'm a bit worried as I had some pain and spotting 12DPO until 14DPO thought I was going to have a early m/c. Got to the doctor quick and they found a corpus liteum cyst on my right ovary which may be there source of pain and the spotting. I'm also waiting for another US as my LO was too small to see and they want to rule out etopic bc of the bleeding. This is my first pregnancy I'm really hoping it's not etopic. My EDD would be 5/15 so far which is 5 days after my sister's wedding for which I'm the matron of honor and we are going dress shopping today. It's gonna be hard keeping this a secret looks like I may have to buy 2 dresses to keep this a secret!
Hello! I’ve been testing for a few days and watching wondfo lines get darker, so I’m just going to jump right in! I’m currently expecting tiny human #2 with an EDD of 5/15.
*TW* This is my third pregnancy, the first ending in a very early loss. All of first tri with DD was harrowing as I spotted from BFP to 12 weeks and felt like loss was imminent that entire time. No spotting so far, and FX it stays away!!
Here’s to hoping we all have healthy, boring, uneventful journeys!
Looks like we have the same EDD. This is my first BFP and I had spotting and pain over right ovary for 3 days following my BFP. I've been paranoid to move or exert myself too much. I'm hoping that I'll make it though. The last 2 days have been spotting free so thinking it's a good sign. Doctors will be checking me for etopic. My beta HcG is really low bc I O'd on CD 21/31 so I'm thinking they will push my EDD back about a week once they finish testing me. Hope you have H&H pregnancy.
Good morning! I found out yesterday I am due with #2! It was #1's birthday, she's 2 now, so it's a very exciting time in my house. I'm due 5/23, which is perfect since I am a teacher. I'm a liberal feminist, a lover of trashy tv, and a keto mom, so I'm always down to talk about any of that.
Good morning!! I have been lurking for days now, the waiting period felt like forever for me!! My DH and I have been TTC for over a year now. Had some health struggles like anemia (iron was at a 6) and a little overweight, that my doctors wanted me to focus on first. Had to have 2 sets of iron infusions, but Doc called in Aug and told me I was finally in a safe zone with my iron.
Was a week late, but didn't mention it to DH because we've gotten our hopes up when I've been irregular before. But this time, I got my BFP!!! I waited until he came home from work, and filled out a party invitation inviting him to the birth of his first child!! He looked up at me, and I had the BFP in hand, and he was so excited!!!
Of course I have all the fears and paranoia like everyone else, so praying for a H&H 9 months! LMP says due date would be May 8th.
Happy Friday folks. DH and I are due with our second on May 21st according to Ovia. We thought we were out this round because I tested a few times and got BFN's at 10DPO and 12DPO. The first time I was pregnant I had a BFP on 9DPO so we were so sure I was out but AF was about a half a week late at this point and DH asked me to test again! So happy! And relieved. I didn't want to have a baby in the middle of summer.
Our DS is turning 2 in October. My pregnancy and labor were difficult, but for moms who have questions about doing an ECV (flipping the baby head down), having a doula, induction, c-section, PPD, generalized anxiety, I'm happy to talk and advise.
Hi! I’m currently 5 weeks, 2 days with my second! Our daughter is 13 months old and we’re super excited, though a little nervous, to have babies close in age. I’m from the Boston area, lived here my entire life. My husband is in the Marine Corps, and has been for 13 years!
Also, just found out my sister is due a week after me!
Hello May '19 ladies! I am 38 and my husband is 39, married for 8 years. I am a high school teacher in Austin, TX.
We have been TTC for over 6 years now, working with specialist doctors for the past 5 years.
On this, our 4th IVF, we got out first ever BFP on September 2, followed by good beta numbers. We are scheduled for our first ultrasound on 9/16 (6w4d pregnant at that point). Needless to say, we are super excited, but tentative and cautious during this first trimester.
I am new to TB, so I'm trying to learn all the acronyms and be sensitive of others. Please let me know if I don't follow the guidelines, or if I offend anyone in any way.
Looking forward to being part of the May '19 community!
@liliumstargazer13 I did keto for a few months and loved it. But 4th of July came and I fell off the wagon and never got back on. I’m planning on starting up again once I get some guidelines from my doc or nutritionist on it since I had GD when pregnant with my daughter. I’m sure I’ll be picking your brain a lot!
I’m currently 5 weeks exactly and my EDD is May 17. This will be our first child. My husband and I are also currently in the process of buying our first house, so lots of exciting things happening this month.
*TW* This is my third pregnancy this year, the previous two ended in loss. Hoping third times the charm. */TW*
Looking forward to getting to know you all better!
@chloe97 *waves* I have been sooo absent from the group and I am so so happy to see this news! Congrats!!
Hi all! I'm 31, H is 34. Found out last weekend that we're expecting #2. I have a son who will be a year old next month and H and I were NTNP. Not sure of the due date yet since I'm not sure when I ovulated, but I suspect it'll be around 5/22.
TW: I have a history of loss including a NMC at 10 weeks in February 2016 and a couple of CPs in October and December 2016. I've had betas drawn for this pregnancy and have another today to make sure the numbers are increasing.
I love(d) my BMB for my son (O17) and am looking forward to interacting with you all!
Hi everyone. I'm very cautiously introducing myself here. I'm 37 and have a 2.5 yo DD and almost 4 yo DS. DH and I are very excited to be adding our 3rd and final baby to the mix. EDD is May 26th.
TW - I have a history of loss; my most recent MMC was in July, so I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm very nervous. End TW.
Hopefully I'll be here for the long haul! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.
Please tell me pregnancy brain can start REALLY early because I just introduced myself to the May 2018 birth club moms... (insert face palm)... so this is going well. Take two: I am a 37 year old working mom (I'm an accountant) living in Hawaii with my husband, crazy, rascally 4 year old DD, and two cats. My EDD is 05/21/19.
TW My DD was conceived on the first try and I had zero pregnancy problems the entire 40 weeks with her so I was pretty cocky that our second try would be just as easy. Three CPs later (pregnant in January, June and July) and even though I'm only 4W4D along this is the longest I've been pregnant since DD. I actually told myself not to post until I was at the 6 or 7 week mark based on the issues I've had so far but the fact that the line is getting darker ever day (I am a POAS addict) gave me hope. End TW
Hey everyone, very excited 6w 2d. From melbourne. This is my 2nd pregnancy he's now 6 years old. Can't believe it finally happened took a while after finding out i had pcos but the 1st round of letrozole worked. Going to be a great year. Baby due on my 30th birthday.
Hey all! I can finally post, yayyyy! I'm 6w5d, got my BFP a few weeks ago and have been trying to introduce myself since this thread came available! I am a STM, my son was born July 2016 via csection. I'm desperately hoping for a VBAC this time around. I'm so looking forward to getting to know you all!!
@Pahialii Welcome to the group from a fellow POAS addict! Also, so sorry for your losses. *TW: I had a cp in July and have felt pretty nervous this go around too. *End TW* Fingers crosses line keep getting darker!
Hi everyone! Late to the party here, due the first week of May with surprise number 3. I live in Australia so quite far to most of you. I have a wonderful group I've stayed in touch with from the Jan 14 board so looking forward to getting to know everyone. Happy and healthy 9 months to you all!
Got a BFP a couple days ago, a line so faint I thought I was hallucinating. Another BFP yesterday and a blood test later, it is real!! Funny thing is we were not really supposed to be trying as I was scheduled for a diagnostic test they won't do during pregnancy. Whoops. Canceling that I guess. We weren't trying but not exactly preventing.
I am 35, my husband just turned 39. We live in MN and our EDD is May 30. Hopefully we get our rainbow as a May flower but a June bug could happen if I go late.
TW: History of loss, two blighted ovums this year (March and June). I will be using baby aspirin and progesterone this time.
I’m 32 and recently moved from IL to Nashville. We’ve been married for 2 years and just found out we’re expecting #1 on 5/12! We are both excited and nervous all at the same time. I’m excited to be on this journey with you all 💜
Hey everybody, my due date is May 22nd. This is our 4th, and I'm really nervous but happy too. We talked about having a fourth, but not this soon. I'm already dreading everyone's comments and looks (including family). Anyways, I'm excited to be here with you ladies.
@poshspice yay! Ditto! Super excited to have another local girl on here.
@msb615 I didn't realize until recently that my husband thinks the whole peeing on a stick thing is gross... so I try to keep my addiction from him. He thinks I tell him the good news and it's done... while I'm like "new day new test." I need help. Hahahaha
@ElleJDubs After going to college in Boston I moved to CT for 11 years and had my DD there. I miss CT so much although I realize I may have selective memory over how cold it got on some days. I even joked that I wanted to move back in my third trimester just to be able to give birth in the Greenwich hospital again.
Hey everyone. I just found out I'm expecting baby #2 this morning! I'm thinking my EDD will be about May 25th. I have a 9 month old son who I am currently staying home with until I go back to teaching kindergarten in November. I live in Canada and DH and I have been married for 3 years.

Re: Introduce Yourself Here!
5-12-2019 glad to meet all you ladies
Looking forward to getting to know all of you mamas!
TW I had 2 MMC before DD and a CP in April, and I’m 39- so I’m very tenuous about this pregnancies.
