Hey gals! Currently 5w 3d with my second LO! EDD is 5/5. SUPER excited to be here and was really active with my N16 (DS) board so looking forward to being as active here as well. I've formed some really close friendships with a lot of amazing ladies all thanks to TB! Welcome and wishing us all a very happy and healthy 9 months!

Woohoo! Now let's see how many of us have been refreshing constantly until this board went live!
My EDD is May 8, and this is our first. We weren't planning to start trying until September, so this snuck up on us a month early. We're super excited, but also still a little in shock because I had expected to be trying for a few months. I would have had a final glass of wine had I known!
Anyway, I'm really excited to be here and to have this group! Looking forward to getting to know you all and to be on this journey together!
Hubs and I started trying around August 22/August 23rd, and I've had two positive tests so far so ... guess I'm pregnant! This is our first time trying and my first pregnancy.
I haven't told hubs yet, and I'm waffling on that. He's having a very unhappy day today, so I imagine the news would delight him. However, he can't keep a secret to save his life, and I know he'd struggle with holding onto the news until ~Thanksgiving. Also, when he and I got engaged, he told EVERYONE before he proposed to me, so I got to tell my grandmother and ... that's it. Boy can't keep his mouth shut for anything, and this would be some hilarious revenge that I know he'd appreciate. Finally, I have a really cool plan in mind to tell him and the whole family at the same time, which I know he'd love.
On the other hand, hiding my not drinking and my symptoms (runny nose, post-nasal drip induced sore throat, and serious fatigue) will be hard, and honestly I'd like a bit of sympathy and pampering. I'm sure he'd have fun knowing and planning with me, too.
Maybe the biggest fear I have is that, since it's so early and this is my first, I'll miscarry and I don't want him to have to deal with that.

I would tell your husband soon! It's such a wonderful bonding time. You can always plan a special way to tell him and then you guys can plan a bigger announcement to family together!

Wooooo back in the pregnancy pants again! After trying for this entire year we finally got a positive! EDD is around 5/9/19. It was awesome to be part of a bump group before, so I'm hoping it will lead to some great friendships again!
Hi! So glad this board is finally up and running! I’ve known for over a week that I’m preggers due to basal body temps and the fact that I’m so darn regular, but because DH has been on the road for work, I didn’t test until Sunday morning while we were camping. The line was so dark!!! Yay! EDD is May 7th. And despite DH’s desire for info, we’re totally going to be a Team Green this time.
Very glad to have this group. I thoroughly enjoyed my BMB (Dec 2016 with my DS) and have many great friendships through it. Cheers to a H&H 9 months, ladies!
Hello! Happy to join the group- I'm currently 5w3d with an EDD of 5/5. This is my second- I wasn't too active in the Feb 2017 group when I was pregnant with my DD, but I found the threads helpful, so I'm hoping to be more active this time around! I was team green with my first, but I'm leaning toward finding out with this pregnancy. Looking forward to the next 8 months or so!
Hello! I’ve been testing for a few days and watching wondfo lines get darker, so I’m just going to jump right in! I’m currently expecting tiny human #2 with an EDD of 5/15.
*TW* This is my third pregnancy, the first ending in a very early loss. All of first tri with DD was harrowing as I spotted from BFP to 12 weeks and felt like loss was imminent that entire time. No spotting so far, and FX it stays away!!
Here’s to hoping we all have healthy, boring, uneventful journeys!
Ahhhhh I’m so excited this is finally open!! I am due May 3rd with our second, we have a 19 month old ds and two golden retrievers (our first-borns really, haha)
TW I had a MMC in April at 10 weeks so we are trying to stay cautiously optimistic this time.
Its happening!! I'm Kelsey, due may 5th which Im sure will change once I get an ultrasound. This will be mine and my bfs first! We were going to start trying but then decided to sell our townhouse and wait until we got into the dream home. My bf was also diagnosed with testicular cancer and I have PCOS so we truly thought all the cards were stacked against us. Hence the lack of birth control and this little surprise. I havent told my bf. I'm holding off until the first ultrasound. He has a big mouth and cannot keep a secret to save his life lol so I want to make sure everything is ok before he goes telling the world. I live in canada on vamcouver island, hopefully get to chat with some fellow maple syrup drinkers/ice hockey players (p.s i can't skate to save my life and find maple syrup a bit too sweet) I was a bit active in thr TTGP board so excited to continue in a group similar to that Hopefully I'll be able to start some of the daily threads ! I think that would be great. Looking forward to getting to know everyone here
I'll be 35 in a few weeks (eek) and this is my third pregnancy. I have a daughter who just turned 4 last month and a son who will be 2 in November. I got my BFP at 8DPO on 8/26 and have been enjoying watching my wondfos get darker and darker each day (POAS addict here). This baby is due on the 11th of May and we will be team green.
I live in SC and we moved across the state one year ago. I'm a little nervous about seeing a new OBGYN because I really loved the one I had (she delivered both of my kids). My first appointment is on the 27th of September.
Wishing each of you a very H&H 9 months! Can't wait to get to know everyone!
Hi everyone! I'm very excited to be joining you all on this board! I'm 34 and this will be my third child- I have two sons, 4 and 2. I'm a long-time lurker and wanted to finally take the plunge and contribute... if all goes according to plan, this will likely be my last pregnancy and I really want to savor this time. I look forward to sharing the coming months with you all!
Finally! Been waiting for a May 2019 board for two weeks!
I am currently 6w1d, due May 1st. This pregnancy came as a huge shock to us! We have three kiddos (6, 3.5, and 1.5) and we were pretty certain we were done. This is our surprise baby #4! And despite our shock and a bit of panic at the beginning, we are both so excited about this pregnancy.
I am in with the midwives again, and hoping for another successful home water birth.
@MegEn1 I dont get the pleasure of sticking around for this BMB, I am 99% likely having a chemical pregnancy. But, please for the love of God tell your husband. If you do (and I truly sincerely hope you do not) miscarry, you cannot do it alone. I dont know you, or how strong you are. You dont know me, but I'm a pretty strong chick. I'm a rock with my emotions. But my miscarriage broke me in ways I didn't know I could be broken. And I'm doing it again. But I have my husband by my side, carrying the weight that I cannot. I have watched marriages crumble over this. But I have also seen strong ones flourish because they find strength and support in one another. Please, please tell him.
@prpl11butterfly I'm so sorry to hear this news. I can't imagine what you're going through, again.Take care of yourself.
@MegEn1 Tell your husband! You can't go through this experience alone. It's a really special thing to share with your DH before the entire world knows. I would think of a fun way to announce the news and just do it!
Hi all! So happy our board is finally open. I'm expecting baby #2 on 5/10, by my calculations. I have one DD who just turned 14 months and is the sweetest thing. I stopped nursing her about a month ago and got pregnant 1 week later with this babe...so my poor body has not had a break I loved participating in my Aug '17 BMB and still talk daily with a group of mamas from that board. I relied heavily on the advice and input from STMs my first pregnancy, so I'm hoping I can help some FTMs on their journey! Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
This is our first baby. About 4 1/2 weeks. EDD May 13th. Going into it with a level head that it's still early and anything can happen. But we're excited to start this journey.
I work a lot and usually travel but I'm setting a lot more boundaries, which has been empowering. Hoping for a calm 9 months.
Thanks to @secicc12, @prpl11butterfly, and @zuuls_mom for the advice. I went ahead and told my husband last night. Because it's SO early, he really had trouble believing it. At one point he even swore I was joking! But I showed him the positive tests and took two more, and now I think he finally believes me. He's extremely excited but just floored because it all happened so fast.
I'm due with our third baby on May 4, 2019 and am excited and nervous and thrilled and just a little scared for the changes coming to our family. I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old (who started school this week and is so excited to grow up and become a big kid).
I am Canadian, an elementary school librarian, a knitter, a dog and cat mom, a Christian, a lover of Victorian houses, and an occasional book worm.
@prpl11butterfly I am so so sorry to hear that. And I agree 100% - you don't have to do it alone.
@MegEn1 I get that you don't want the secret out too early, but he might surprise you! Tell him - it's such a special time, when no one knows but the two of you. It's so hard being excited all by yourself.
DD1: June 2014 - VBM4lyfe DD2: October 2016 DC3: coming May 2019
Hi. I'm pregnant with our third baby. We have a 3 year old son, an almost 18 month old daughter and this baby is due on May 11th if my calculations are correct. I guess we will see in three weeks at my dating scan!.
I’m currently 5w2d and EDD is 5/8! This is my third pregnancy. *TW* we lost my second pregnancy this past February. *End TW*
My DD was born in April ‘13, and has been relentlessly praying and wishing for a baby sister or brother (but preferably a sister lol). I loved TB back when I was a first time mom, and have made close friends with lots of the moms from that group. I can’t wait to get to know all of you! A support system is so wonderful, and part of me feels like I’m starting over again as my DD will be 6 before this baby arrives.
Praying for peace of mind and healthy pregnancies all around!
I live in NYC with my 2 year old, DH, and rescue pup.
My EDD based on conception is May 1! We are thrilled to be pregnant after nearly 18 months of trying and countless procedures and drugs.
So far my levels have been great, and I have 1 healthy sac, and 1 small one. Wont know if both babies are viable till next Friday. Just so happy to have the 1 look good!
I have a 9 month old daughter and was pretty active in my Dec '17 BMB - many of us still keep in touch in our FB group. DH and I are about to celebrate 3 years married together and we, DD, and our 6yo dog live in the Boston area. Looking forward to meeting you and happy/healthy 9 months to all!

This will be LO # 3 for us. I think EDD is around May 18th based on ovulation. LMP says May 12th. I suppose I'll know more after my first OB visit, which isn't until October 9th. Feels like forever away!
Anyway, I have 2 boys at home age 2 and almost 4. I've convinced husband to stay team green this time around. He would prefer to find out, but is being a good sport about it!
I currently work part time, but will be transitioning to being a SAHM at the beginning of October. I'm excited and nervous about the transition. I'm looking forward to connecting with you all through our pregnancies and beyond!
@prpl11butterfly My heart is hurting for you. I pray that 1% overcomes the 99!
Hello All, I am so excited to be a part of this birth month club. This is my second pregnancy and I have a DD who just turned 3. My DH and I have tried for a year to get pregnant and after our first IUI I got the BFP. My due date is May 8th. We will find out the gender but may do a gender reveal as I didn't do it in my last pregnancy. Because I am on the older side, I am 39 and turning the big 40 in 3 weeks this will be my last pregnancy so I am trying to soak it all in. Am so excited to to be a part of this.
