  • @grebretso geez - this person related to the boss or something?  She seems to feel like she owns the place.

Just got my maternity clothes back. They're all mediums and I wear larges now. Pondering if I can "make it work" since it's all mostly stretchy anyway, or if I should shell out for clothes that actually fit.

My bank account is saying make it work
  • @kayjay44 that video is priceless  :D I love her
  • @danixbanani24 Plantar fasciitis sucks! DH is a serious runner and pf is a frequent runner's injury. If you'd like, I'm happy to PM you some of the stuff he learned from physical therapy that have really helped him get rid of it.
  • I forgot how much more amazing orgasms are while pregnant.

  • @grebretso I have a similarly useless coworker. He's on his way out in either a lateral or vertical move and his work has been absolute crap. The infuriating thing is that because it's so bad, we are basically better without him so he's going to get a perfectly good reference and end up in a better paying position. It makes my blood boil. So I sympathize with your work situation.

@kayjay44 I had no idea that pregnancy would make sex so much better! I don't often feel up for it but when I do, it's amazing.
And unrelated, your daughter is adorable! That was  fantastic announcement.
  • I’m in a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad mood.
  • @kayjay44, one of the only perks! And my drive has gotten way high just recently, but my H keeps falling asleep early. Lame.
  • Has anyone else experienced difficulty orgasming during pregnancy? When I google it, it seems like the opposite effect is waaay more common
  • I haven't had difficulty, but I do have pretty painful cramping right afterward.
  • @madreofdragons noooooooo!

    (...okay yes, please do)

  • I'm having a repeat C, so I've never heard of this clit stuff and I'm intrigued.
  • I personally had a shooting sensation from vag to clit for a like 4-5 months. Not painful, just was well aware that it was there. Also in those months I could have a bunch of orgasms in a row but weakly. It was weird. Few other friends had similar stories of it taking a while to get wired back to normal.
  • I'd prefer to hear it from you @madreofdragons than have to go Google it. But you have me scared.
  • Weeeeird. Bodies are weeeird!

  • Mhmmm @madreofdragons I had the weirdest pains. I told my doctor about it at my postpartum visit(s) and he said it was probably from the catheter. Ummm naw dawg, I know my anatomy better than that. Shooting sensation is a great way to put it - it’s not pain so much as intensely sensitive (but not in a good way)
  • Also, screw all y’all having sex. Pelvic rest is a rancid bitch.
  • Oh that sounds straight up freaky. I guess with the stress that whole area endures it kind of makes sense.
  • And for these reasons, man I loved my csection haha. Probably a UO as a lot of women don't want them or are sad to have had one. Mine was a walk in the park and no strange vag issues to deal with.
  • Also, screw all y’all having sex. Pelvic rest is a rancid bitch.
No pelvic rest but my husband is still gone for another week so I'll join you in the sexless and bitter camp.
  • I'm still not feeling like sex. It's been two months now. I was actually sort of in the mood this morning, but H went to bed really late last night, and by the time he was awake my sexy mood was replaced by nausea.

  • @madreofdragons @BourbonBiscuits
Weird! I didn’t have that at all. Once my stitches healed I was good to go.
    I didn’t have a cath though...
  • @grebretso usually that’s me too

  • I’ve had a c and a vbac. I can say the vbac was easier to heal, but the weird vag pains are pretty miserable. I had a 2nd degree episiotomy and nothing felt right down there for about 6-8 months.
  • I had no episiotomy or tears and it was still weird down there.
