I was dreaming about having a miscarriage when I woke up I was spotting blood I went to the ER I was freaking out I even told the nurse everything from my dream every detail even the nurse was the same from my dream it was a male nurse he looked at me like I was crazy I told him everything they were going to do I even described the doctor that was gana see me the nurse was in shock cause everything I told him happen down to the doctor name I never even met the doctor before

Here’s a story that will make you shake your head. My now-17 year old sister got pregnant when she was 16. She hadn’t had a lot of sex ed at all (she tuned my mom out whenever she tried to explain it to her) so when she got pregnant she was trying to figure out when she would have gotten pregnant so she could figure out whose baby it was (since there were two possibilities). I explained to her how her cycle works, as did her OB when she saw him for her first appointment. Once she was able to figure out when she most likely got pregnant, she was able to figure out the father, so she told him. Well, he told his mother (who is an OB nurse) who proceeded to tell my sister that her son couldn’t possibly be the father, because she was only 6 weeks pregnant, not 8 weeks pregnant (even though the ultrasound confirmed she was 8 weeks pregnant so that particular guy was indeed the father) and then informed my sister that she and her OB had no clue what they were talking about. Y’all, she was completely serious. She even drew a diagram to try to prove that my sister was wrong. And this woman is an OB nurse.
That said, even I knew that getting your period normally means that you aren’t pregnant.
@jemmerjams I did that at a 4th of July party and the person had to ask me again, so there was no guessing on my part if I maybe heard wrong.
I found it funny that I recognized a name in that post because they lurk here on occasion and share their wisdom.
Decided tonight's gonna be a self spa night so I'm coconut oil making my hair, charcoal face peel on, gonna shave everything and exfoliate everything, and lotion everything and put fresh sheets on my bed and lay in it naked!!! Pretty excited honestly
She blew up and told me how I ruin everything (not surprises just everything in general) and that she’s more upset the surprise is ruined than concerned over the stress extra houseguests would cause me. And that she’s not sorry that people didn’t walk through this from my perspective, but how would they do that anyway (never mind you’ve known me for 32 years and I seriously love planning and hate surprises.) And then kitchensinked more into my negative qualities and how this isn’t about me, with some eye rolls thrown in for good measure. So I have told everyone not to come, which would presumably cancel the shower.
Cue massive hyperventilating cry fest and feeling like I pretty much screw everything up. Thanks fammmm.
Also if it isnt about you then why is it a big deal that you know?? But who else would this be for?!

I know we have had some discussions around moving and it seems we are pretty undecided on the move. Should we revive the discussion and maybe do a poll on who wants to move and when? I wouldn't want to loose all the topics of discussion if more than half the people didn't move to FB. It seems like some of the poor women from the August group had to endure it so early and miss out on valuable conversations leading up to the birth. Maybe we don't move until the babies are born?
I'm still unclear on how the Facebook group forum is any better and what it looks like compared to this. I'm not really in any active FB groups other than local community pages for selling and events. I am so used to this format and don't really see a problem with it, other than the annoying app not working half the time.
Thoughts?

@bntfroggie it wouldnt really be a free for all though since your fertile window is 5 days before O, and with temping you don't know you have O'd until post-O, meaning you never know when you are in your fertile window. Even with OPKs they only give you a 48-72 hour window, so you still have to be careful. Plus, and this is JMO, at 18, if she wants to have sex, shes gonna anyway, so might as well help her make good/better decisions
@chyvie I was actually just thinking about the move to FB the other day thinking about how close October is

I think the only issue with a poll is anyone can vote on it. We might have some randoms come in and skew the results.
