Hi everyone! I've been lurking around for a bit, and am finally posting. Feeling anxious about the early days of pregnancy, I guess. Anyway, I'm a teacher from Ohio. This is my second pregnancy - dd turned 2 this past spring.
H and I met in college, have been together for a decade and a half or so, and married for 7 years. It took a few months of ttc to get pregnant the first time around, so I assumed the same would happen this time. However, this happened before we really started trying so, we're (pleasantly) surprised and cautiously optimistic that this is meant to be. EDD is 3/4, but no appt til the 31st.
Super excited to be here and get to know everyone. FX for an uneventful h/h 9 months for all!
Hello ladies! My name is Mae and I'm a television producer. So happy to be here. My EDD is 3/8 and this is my first pregnancy. Feeling excited and anxious about everything!
Hello everyone! I am a teacher in Southern California. I'm due March 6th. This is our 2nd. Our DS is 8 years old. We have been trying to have a 2nd child for 5 years. We did 2 rounds of IVF for our little miracle baby on the way. It has been a long journey.
Hey guys! My name is Nina, and my husband and I are expecting our first!!! Our EDD is March 7th - will get confirmation of this on our first appointment on July 16th!! We are both so excited!! I cant wait to be on this journey with all of you lovely ladies!
First time mom here. It’s taken us 2 years, a career change, a move to another state, and several other sacrifices to get here. Our estimated due date is 3/4. Don’t see OB till 7/16 (since we just moved this will be our first time meeting her - insert panic attack).
I'm just joining in. My EDD is March 9. I have my first appointment with my doctor on August 1 to confirm!
This will be baby #2 for us! We had our sweet baby girl in June 2017. We knew we wanted to starting trying this year and decided to stop preventing it in June and got pregnant right away! It took a few months with our daughter so I was completely surprised when it happened so soon!
@lacmwed our story is very similar to yours. We took awhile to get pregnant with our sweet little guy and he was born in March 2017. This time we were shocked it happened on the first try! Congrats and welcome!
Just found out that I am pregnant on July 3rd and immediately signed back into the bump app because I loved it during my first pregnancy! Estimated due date with the online calculator is March 8. Going to the doctor on Tuesday!
My my first child was born October 2018. We had a miscarriage in Sept 2018 so this pregnancy is still scaring me since it’s so early.
im optimistic and excited to go on this journey with all of you ladies!

Welcome! I think preggy brain already set in though because Oct 18 and Sept 18 are still in the future. So sorry for your loss. I hope your anxiety levels can go down soon. H&H 9 months
@lacmwed@ashley14598 this is my story too! It took us 6 months of real trying for my daughter, and about 6 days of not preventing this time around! Talk about a surprise!
@navete How did you find your OBGYN? I see a lot of ladies picking their provider based off of hospital and/or birthing center. I was going to go with the first OBGYN my insurance recommended, but decided to go crazy on reviews and found the one I have an appointment with. Why do they leave these important things up to women full of pregnancy hormones? LOL!
I’m Bethany - married with 3 kids (DD, DS, DS). *TW- This is my 8th pregnancy so unfortunately lots of losses for us. -end TW* We’re praying this is another healthy baby! EDD 3/1. I’m a SAHM but former elementary teacher so I’m finding it interesting how many teachers are in this group!)
I just got a positive test today. This is my second baby. This baby was not planned at all, but is a blessing since I have in the past struggled with fertility issues. I have a 4.6 year old son from my previous marriage. My first birth group on TB was January 2014. This will be the first child that my bf and I have together. I am a critical care registered nurse. I’m still extremely shocked. Lol Only my bestfriend and my bf know so far. According to my LMP, I am due March 4th, but we will see once I make an appointment. Looking forward to getting to know you all.
I am due March 20th, and this will, hopefully, be my second child.
I am 29 and worked as a tax auditor, but recently started staying home with my son full time. It took about a year to get pregnant with our first, so we decided to start trying for a second a little earlier than originally planned on. We were extremely lucky, and conceived on the second cycle we were actively trying.
I go back and forth about being happy I found out about this pregnancy so early (8dpo). It's amazing to know early, but it's also a source of anxiety for me.
ETA - I've changed my user name from knottie, but even though it shows me logged in correctly, this still posted as knottie. Maybe it's a lag? I'm on mobile so I'll try to figure it out on an actual computer later today.
Hello Everyone! DH & I just got the positive test yesterday with an EDD of March 14. We’re over the moon. Lucky us, this was our first time TTC since the birth of our beautiful baby girl nearly 14 months ago.
I’m excited to get to know you ladies on this amazing journey. I love the positivity that I’ve been seeing in the group so far. Wishing you all the best.
Hey. I'm 39 and finally decided it was time to have a baby. I'm 5 weeks with our first. According to this app my EDD is March 9th but I have a feeling that will change when I go see my Dr August 1st. I also know that I'll have to have a c section due to hardware in my pelvis. I'm overwhelmed and nervous but I'm looking forward to everything. DB is super excited and that makes things a bit easier. He's the level head and thinks about things I don't. So we make a great team.
My name is Veronica. My husband and I found out we are pregnant yesterday. Super excited, we half our first little man about to turn 1 at the end of August and we are due on March 15. We couldn’t be happier. Now I’m just waiting for little mans big brother T-shirt to come in to tell both grandparents. They are going to be shocked.
I'm very excited, for all of you Don't forget to lurk me and I'll do the same.
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.
How I feel all of the time. My 7 Year Journey ***Tw in spoiler***

I'm Brittany, aged 26. Currently 4 weeks, 2 days pregnant. This is my 3rd pregnancy, and I'm hopeful that it will result in my 2nd baby! I have a 2.5 year old daughter who I adore and who will make an awesome big sister. I work for a family business as a manager/bookkeeper, so I have a lot of flexibility which is great when pregnant.
I chart my basal body temperature, cervical position, and cervical mucus, since my husband and I practice symptothermal fertility awareness whether we are avoiding or trying to achieve pregnancy. Due to charting all this info, I'm confident our due date is around March 16. Can't wait to have an ultrasound to confirm and see our little peanut! I'm planning to continue chart bbt and any obvious mucus signs throughout the pregnancy because I really want to watch things progress as time goes on.
Anyway, I'm super excited to get to know everyone, and thrilled to start on this journey to becoming a second time parent.
Hey everyone! I just got my (faint) bfp this morning. I have a 2 year old daughter already and this is my second pregnancy. I should be due around 3/22. I was on TTGP and in the June 2016 BMB. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.
DD1: June '16 DD2: March ‘19 :::: Married since 2011 :::: USN Wife ::::
My name is Samantha. This is my second pregnancy-- we have a 4 year old boy. I am a teacher and we tried to time it so that my maternity leave would fall the last few weeks of school and then I would have summer off to spend with my little ones. My estimated due date is March 16. I called today and scheduled my first OBGYN appt for August 6 (the week before school starts). I am SO excited!
Hi all! I did another introduction in the "is anyone here" thread a week or two ago, but never formally did it here.
My informal EDD is calculating around 3/6, I am 5 weeks 5 days today.
This is my third pregnancy. I had spontaneous identical twin girls in 2012 who are now 6. *TW, we decided to try again in October, I got pregnant in Dec, but miscarried right before 7 weeks. End TW* We kept trying and it looks like June was the lucky month!
My first appointment with the NP is 7/12, and from there I'll schedule and appointment with the OB. I am in the process of switching practices because my last one is beyond terrible.
I work full-time and in my spare time like spending time with my family, my dogs (my first children) and working out. Summer is my favorite!
My EDD is March 16th. I have had three previous losses (with an ex), so I want to keep quiet this go around. This was mine and my wife's first cycle, and I got a BFP this morning. We are 4 weeks along.
Hi all! ICU nurse from Chicago on my first pregnancy here! Husband and I are very excited, but also freaking the eff out! We are currently parents to one furbaby (Lucy), who is likely to be jealous of her new sibling (any experienced dog/human moms with advice hit me up!) My EDD per my tracker is 3/11, but I know my Irish hubs is hoping for a St. Patrick's day babe. If all goes well, this will be both my and his parents first grandchild, so this little peanut is going to be SPOILED!
@lucysmom2016 I know cats and dogs are different but I only have cat experience haha. I was extremely concerned bc my fur baby doesn’t love most people but she’s my shadow. When we first brought DD home we gave my cat her blanket from the hospital to introduce her smell and then we introduced them slowly from there. Shockingly my cat is obsessed with DD and has been from day 1! So there is hope that your dog will be in love just bc it’s your baby! Good luck!
