Hi everyone! Tentatively due 3/1 with baby #3. I have a 5yo son and 3yo daughter. This ones a surprise for our family. I’m a self-employed marketing consultant. I had paid maternity leave with my other two, but obviously not this time around so we are a little stressed about that. Otherwise feeling good so far and looking forward to this journey with all of you!
Hello ladies! This is baby number 4 due 3/16. This pregnancy was very unexpected. My youngest will be 10 months in a week. I have a confirmation appt in 2 weeks. Taking my prenatal and just hanging on till then. Nervous about 4 kids 4 and under.
Hi! I just got my home test bfp on the 4th. We did iui and my beta came back yesterday at 291. It's my first child and I"m so excited. I'm a queer black femme living in the south, and I'd love to connect to folks of similar experience! I'm hoping to to a home birth, but it's so early that there really isn't anything to plan yet. Nice to meet yall!
TTC Journey has been rough. Several losses since the birth of my 2.5 year old son Jackson. Sooo.. we are cautiously excited. My first scan is in a couple of days on Thursday, COUNTING.DOWN.THE.MINUTES.
Looking forward to being a part of this board!! -Michelle
@Shelbyville30, is your screen name/handle a Simpsons reference? I’d be counting down the minutes to my first scan if I even had one scheduled yet. Lucky you!
Hiya! Excited to cautiously join this group. This my 5th pregnancy and hopefully 2nd baby. Have a wonderful daughter who will be 3 in January, estimated due date is 3/14 - 3/7 with the repeat cesarean.
Me: 30 DH: 31 Married: 2012 BFP #1 Sept 2014, MMC Dec 2014 | BFP #2 May 2015, DD Jan 2016 | BFP #3 May 2017, MC July 2017 | BFP #4 Jan 2018, MC Feb 2018 | BFP #5 July 2018, fingers crossed
Hey all. My name is Rachel, I’m 25 years old and I’m a psych nurse. My estimated due date is March 11th. I got our positive test a little early, June 29th. Just had a feeling.
My husband and I have been together for nine years, married seven months. TW. We had a missed miscarriage in February of this year at ten weeks. After that, we decided we would let things happen when they happen, no pressure to conceive. And here we are 5 weeks and 1 day into our second pregnancy and we are terrified. BUT deciding to be optimistic because why not enjoy every moment with this babe?
Having betas drawn this go around and so far, so good. Our first appointment is July 27th. We have told our close family members and they are stoked. We figure the more support we have the better. Looking forward to a happy and healthy 9 months and hoping the same for all of you!
Hey everyone. I´m MJ. I´m a 38 year old American expat living in Madrid. I have a 21 month old DS which I had via IVF/ICSI. I had a beta on Monday and got the good news that I´m pregnant with baby #2 (also via IVF/ICSI). I go for my first ultrasound with the RE on the 25th so I´ll find out my EDD. I´m hoping for a healthy and happy 9 months for all of us.
Hi all! First time pregnancy here! I am currently almost 5 weeks along after our 2nd IUI. We thought for sure that we were going to have to do IVF to get pregnant so this is a huge shock. I am 40 and we have been trying for about 16 months but due to a low ovarian reserve, it has been challenging. I'm counting the days until our first ultrasound at 7 weeks (in 2 weeks!!) to make sure all is going well.
Hi everyone- Finally getting around to introducing myself! My name is Austin and this is my first pregnancy and my EDD is March 2nd. Super excited and nervous to be here! Can’t wait for the road ahead together.
Hi everyone! My due date is March 9 and my birthday is March 11th so this little one will be a great present. This is my second pregnancy, but would be my first baby. *TW* I had a miscarriage in January which ended up being a long and drawn out process which lasted until March. So I'm pretty nervous this go around and hoping for a sticky baby!
@southerngirlinwi I am due Mar 11, and my birthday is Mar 6! Hoping for sweet little birthday presents for us both!
My Mom and niece also have birthdays within a week of mine, so we always have a great family birthday party together. So much fun to add another Pisces to the mix!
I’m 36 and we are due March 22. We had a first trimester loss in 2014 and another in 2015. I was diagnosed with PCOS. We took some time off trying to conceive. After trying since the beginning of this year, got the darkest BFP I have ever seen, 3 days earlier than I would’ve missed my period! We know that this might not take, but are really excited anyway. That said I’m pretty anxious.

Hi everyone!! My EDD is March 1st. This is my second pregnancy. *TW* my first ended in a miscarriage. My dr couldn't find a heartbeat at my 11 week appointment and I was told I had an abnormal pregnancy with a missed miscarriage and had a D&C. Needless to say I'm super nervous but hopeful. The August 2019 group was so great to me, I'm so happy to be a part of this group!
Hello -- second time mom here, my daughter is 20 months and is absolutely exhausting, but also the cutest human I've ever seen. I'm 34, and my husband and I have been married for 9 years and finally decided to pull the trigger on kids a couple years ago. Prior to that, there was a long period of time where I wasn't sure I wanted children at all, but finally decided I saw rugrats in my future.
We got pregnant after 3 tries with my daughter, and really only tracking using an app, no BBT or OPK's. I was terrified when I got my BFP the first time around, but it turns out you really do adjust to the madness of motherhood.
This time around, because I am still breastfeeding my daughter, I was worried it would take much longer, or not happen at all due to the extended bfing (despite the stats being in my favor). My cycle had only been regular for a few months before we started trying. First month we just used the same app from before, second month I decided to try OPK's and glad I did. Realized I ovulate a day or two later than I thought, and we hadn't BDed at the exact right time the month before. First month using the OPK's and although I had CONVINCED myself I wasn't pregnant (bc I also have a shorter luteal phase and had no discernible symptoms) I got my BFP on the day of my period with an ever so faint line on the cheapies (I only have a 26 day cycle). Confirmed with a FRER that was a hair darker. One day later FRER confirmed it even further, and now I've been using the cheapies in hopes of watching my line get darker and darker. Current EDD is 3/19. Never thought i'd be a compulsive tester, but when you're type A, and want a baby, you do what you can to make it seem like you have any control in the matter
Hello all! This is my 5th pregnancy and hopefully my 2nd take home baby! I've had 3 miscarriages very early on (one before my son was born and 2 after), so I'm hesitantly optimistic! I currently have a 17 month old son who will be turning 2 next February (Bumpie from Feb 2017) and this baby is due around March 26th, based on ovulation! I get to be in the fun end-of-the-month club where we are super happy for everyone who has their baby already but really we just want this little one to come out right nooow! I've had extremely inconsistent cycles since having my son, so I'm super excited to be pregnant right now and am praying for a sticky baby and darker lines while I continue to compulsively test :-)
I went through this whole thread and can’t find my introduction post! Maybe I’m crazy, but I swore I already posted something on here. Just in case...
My name is Ashley and I’m a school social worker. I found out I am pregnant with my first on July 3rd. I’m 30 (31 in December) and my husband is 34. We are really excited but both in shock! Even though we talked about kids, it’s hard to believe this is really happening. I’m just crossing my fingers that all goes well and this is a successful and healthy pregnancy. I have 2 dogs, which are my furry children. Love them to pieces.
We have our first OB appt on July 18th. Today I am 5 weeks and 6 days.
Happy to be here with everyone! Looking forward to this little community we’re building
I didn't post at all during my first pregnancy, but thought I would get a little more involved this time around.
We have an almost two years old (insane!) and we are expecting number 2 around March 8th.
I'm a special education teacher and I'm enjoying my summer after a busy school year. I'm hoping to spend a lot of time with my family, read, and get my house back together! We shall see
Fellow June 17'er here, dd1 was born 6/20/17 - 9 days late. Early EDD of 3/24/19, but my cycles all effed up, so waiting for an updated EDD after the dating us. I may actually deliver in April '19 based on how long dd1 cooked for . Yes that will be 2 under 2, yes it was on purpose.
I loved my previous bmb, looking forward to a h&h 9 months with you all.
Hi All! This has been a long journey and the BFP was a big shock. We’ve been TTC for 18 months and have been going through fertility treatments since December. I have a blocked tube, but insurance required 6 IUIs before they would approve IVF. The first 5 didn’t work, so I did the 6th pet insurance mandate and started planning my first IVF cycle.
I didn’t even consider that the very last IUI would work. After the 4th IUI I switched fertility doctors. The new one diagnosed me with hypothyroidism in the consultation and started me on Synthroid. That is the only thing that changed, and I cannot believe the first fertility doctor didn’t make the diagnosis. Turns out infertility is a symptom of hypothyroidism. I still have a blocked tube, but my hormones were out of whack and wouldn’t let any pregnancy stick. God only knows how many MCs I was missing before. Resolving the hypothyroidism got us pregnant in two months.
We we are very excited and due March 12th. Our first sonogram is next week. This will be our first, so we are hoping for a healthy baby.
I look forward to taking this journey with all of you!
Hello! I have been lurking for quite some time, but I just had my first doctor visit/ultrasound today to confirm my date! My husband and I "pulled the goalie" in January, but didn't officially start trying until June. And yeah, first time we ended up pregnant. Which I feel very blessed about, as I know the journey can be difficult.
Our due date is March 7th. I am feeling tentatively excited, but being extra cautious in getting my hopes up as I know it's very early.
I am an engineer and am used to overthinking and overanalyzing situations. So this is going to be an adventure. Haha. Excited to go along this journey with you guys and have a support system of women going through the same things.
Hi! I think it's about time to introduce myself. DH and I are in our mid-thirties, and we live in Eastern Canada. I got my bfp almost 3 weeks ago. My edd is March 6 or 7. I'm a STM (I have a 2 yo DD). *TW* I was lurking and gearing up to join the July 2018 bump club last fall but had a miscarriage around 6 1/2 weeks. *End TW* I am cautiously optimistic about this pregnancy but I won't be fully excited until I see a heartbeat on a US. I decided it'd be easier to pass the time until that first US (in about 2-3weeks) if I joined up and started posting/chatting here. Congrats, everyone! I hope I get to spend the next 7-8 months on this journey with all of you!
I thought I saw a post on here with a link to a spreadsheet for us to fill in and track. Can someone re-post that please? I'm really excited to be in this group!
Re: Introduce yourself here!
@meggyme Ahhh! I came back from my hiatus yesterday and I was wondering where you were. I'm so happy for you! Congratulations!
My name is Jennifer and expecting my second child. Estimated due date is March 10. I have a daughter who will be 9 months tomorrow!
