I'm a mom to 3 beautiful girls and this is my 4th pregnancy. It was a total surprise for us so I'm still trying to wrap my head around it! We thought we were done having kids & had given away most of our baby items. Now here we are starting all over! My due date is March 3rd.
Hi all! I am a 35 year old first grade teacher living in Iowa. MH husband is 40 and works for a local cable/internet company. We have been married for a little over 1 year. I got a very early BFP this past Thursday (9 DPO) and this will our first! My EDD is March 24.
*TW Loss* I had a MC in February, so I am bit nervous about posting here so soon. I am trying to find the fine line between being optimistic and realistic which is hard. *End TW*
I am very excited to get to know everyone and go on this crazy journey together!
Yay @purpleteacher82!! I really feel you on trying to balance the excitement with realism and fear. And thanks @JLaVO888! So glad we are all here together.
I’m nervously posting here. I got a bfp on Saturday, but was convinced I'd had an anovulatory cycle (temps didn't rise to confirm O) and hadn't started my supplemental progesterone post O. Tests seem to be getting darker but
*TW - loss* I had a blighted ovum in May *end TW*
I'm still definitely nervous about this LO sticking around. I started my supplemental progesterone the day of the BFP and hope that was soon enough to help this little bean stick! I'm excited to be joining a lot of TTGP grads on this board! Estimated DD is 3/27. I hope I get to stick around and get to know you all!
Hello! I had to lurk for a few days so the app would allow me to post. I’m 33, am a professor, and live in the Midwest, this will be my first child and I’m super nervous and excited! I had a positive HPT June 22 but DH and I have been traveling and so haven’t gotten a chance to get to my OB for a confirmation, which is nerve wracking! According to my LMP I’m 8 weeks today but I think im probably more like 7 based on when I ovulated. Thus I think I probably belong in the march group *TW* This is my second pregnancy. I had a MMC at 12 weeks at the end of feb. I was pregnant with spontaneous triplets (!) and they had stopped growing at 7+ weeks. I’m obviously pretty nervous this time around and my Dr appointment on the 25th can’t come soon enough! *end TW* Happy to have found this community and hoping that we all have chill and uneventful pregnancies!
My first pregnancy i was a "full time instructor" teaching at a university in Midwest. I was so nervous to announce bc....academia. I did find an online group for moms in academia whuch was nice but nothing beats the support of the wonderful bump support here!
Welcome! What do you teach? I taught advertising in communication college/department. For the most part my schedule worked great for my pregnancy bc i taught MWF (& was done before 2 pm Fridays).
Going to jump in I suppose! I'm Kate, 30, and this is pregnancy number 2. I have a daughter who turns 2 tomorrow (I'm in denial about that ) and was a late participant/mostly lurked on the July 16 board. Due date is March 24 and I'll be calling my Dr soon to get an appointment set up. I was induced with my daughter because she didn't gain any weight from the 37 to 38 week checkups. She was a wee thing, 5 lbs when she was born. No extra hospital stay thankfully. Around 50 percentile for her age and weight right now, but it was 8 when she was born, so we've come a long way!
To touch on a few things that have come up in this thread, I am not a teacher, haha, but, as an accountant in industry practice, I prefer to family plan around year-end close and audit. I love to read almost everything (not a fan of post-apocalyptic or "ideal society" type books like Brave New World, Hunger Games, etc). I'm currently undertaking a re-reading of the first five books of the Song of Ice and Fire series because it took me a while to read them and I need a refresher course! Historical fiction is probably my favorite genre.
Hello! Cautiously introducing myself here. My due date is March 17th. I've been in beta limbo after a not so great first two draws last week. My doctor didn't seem concerned, but the numbers were lower than any of my other pregnancies and they didn't quite double at the 48 hour mark. Had another draw this morning and the number was awesome, back up to the 48 hour doubling time. So I'm encouraged enough to dip my toes in the water here. TW** I have had two previous losses, one in 2013 and my most recent one this past April. End TW*** My husband and I have an awesome 4 year old son. Hoping so desperately to give him a sibling in March! Anyway, looking forward to getting to know everyone and hoping to help the time pass a little faster by being on here with you all.
Hello all! This is my first pregnancy and my EDD is March 22nd. Waiting to hear back from my OB to schedule my first appointment. I am a psychotherapist. I love to read, knit, and spend time with my husband and furry family members (two dogs and a cat). Looking forward to this exciting and terrifying experience!
I am Heather a 28 year old mom to a wonderful 6 year old son. This will be me and my bfs first child together though he has been a wonderful stepdad the last 3 years. I am currently 6 weeks 4 days with a due date of March 8th. I have long cycles so that may change after I see the dr in 2 weeks cautiously excited and optimistic for a healthy happy 9 months.
Hi. I'm 36. I have an 8yo girl and 5yo boy. My EDD is 3/6. I'm feeling anxious about this pregnancy and about how I'm going to do it with 3. I'm hoping I start to feel better after my first appointment on 8/2.

Hi, everyone! I am a first time mom with a due date of March 6th! My husband and I are thrilled, but this is a super busy time in our lives! He is applying to dental schools across the midwest, so all plans right now have to be temporary. I'm excited to meet you all!

My name is Shannon and this is my first pregnancy at 41 (will be 42 next month). I honestly assumed I couldn't get pregnant so things was a huge surprise to us! Feel super blessed and excited! First positive test was July 5th. Had my first ultrasound yesterday and only saw the yolk sac so not as far along as thought!
