I'm feeling my stabby Sat today. Because of the snow and wind, all the cattle got out and scattered all over the place, so H is out with BIL trying to gather and put the back in, make sure the cow-calf pairs are together and will probably be out all day. My dad has had serious anger issues. In the past, he's been on medication to help with some of the violent side of things. He had been trying to go off awhile ago, and I don't know if he did or not. His current wife (3rd if anyone wondered), who I get along very well with and like her very much, just asked me what he was capable of when he gets angry. We've talked about it in brief before, so I knew it was starting to be an issue again. She is an extremely sweet lady and I just feel so bad for her that it's getting bad. I told her to come over if she ever needs to, no matter what time it is or anything. He can be a real jerk sometimes. My kids have 'All of God's Creatures Got a Place in the Choir' stuck in their heads, and have been singing it over and over for DAYS! There's only so many times you can listen to how the bull frog croaks and and gray hippopotamus moans and groans with a big to do, before your brain might explode.
I was trying to find a “your tone, though” gif for the sleep thread, and instead I found this. I’ve been watching it for like 10 minutes. It’s so weirdly mesmerizing.
My hunger is out of control today. No matter how much I eat, I feel like I'm starving. I can't wait for DF to get home with my pierogis. I'm gonna binge so hard on them.

I’ve eaten two cucumbers today. Cut up with nothing on them. I never really had strong cravings last go around but I actually had to go to the grocery store today because I thought I was going to cry if I didn’t get cucumbers. Ha!

I don’t want to wait until last minute and I need pretty much everything because we got rid of all of our stuff from DS when we decided I didn’t want to go through fertility treatments again. Im not having a baby shower (2nd kid and all). So, I need to start buying like RIGHT NOW. But I’m still putting it off because I still feel like it’s early and things could go wrong. Ughhhh....
@sparklingwhit - For things you are considering buying new, you might consider setting up an Amazon registry even though you aren’t doing a shower. You don’t even have to make it public. Add to it the things you want to buy this go around. About 6wks out from your due date, Amazon will give you a 15% completion discount in anything you buy off the registry.
Then you can start shopping for stuff you need without buying it yet. And, its Amazon- you’ll get everything within a couple of days once you buy it.
Okay, I have now caught up on the sleeping thread. I find some of the comments to be ironic from a specific commenter but in a different context.
That said, I get now why the thread got out of control. And yeah, the anti-bed-sharing chick would also be the first to ask a sexual assault victim what she was wearing and if she had been drinking.
@jynjer91and@pumpkinpancake with DD my DH told me he loved my “widening ass”. Luckily I was not having a sensative day and knew he meant it as a compliment. It’s since become a joke.
I have a sprinkle to go to today. This is baby number two and their second girl. Their other child is like 3. I’m so annoyed that I have to put on pants for this. Sorry not sorry lady.

@knottieamusements thank you! Yes, I’m already signed up for a registry there. I feel like I shouldn’t wait until 6 weeks! But I will. I just had a pregnancy panic attack the last few days about how freaking unprepared I feel this time around! Plus we’ll be moving into a new house a few weeks before so really we shouldn’t buy anything until after the move but that’s creating even MORE anxiety!
I feel so sorry for all you East coast ladies, I fled Massachusetts 12 years ago for Southern California. It sounds like you're all having a long cold winter, I just talked to my dad, he's so sick of it! Stay strong ladies, it'll melt soon and sunny days are coming! Also, what's a sprinkle?
Thanks for the clarification, it's my second kid but I still feel very out of the loop when it comes to baby specific celebrations and presents. But now I think I remember big arguments on the September 2015 board about that topic and the ongoing debate.
