Thanks ladies! Sorry to spoil the April fun!! It'll be a couple weeks till I can talk to my RE because she's booked next week. I do plan on calling a lot just in case they can squeeze me in But I can't start my next cycle until I talk to her first so AF will probably show up before then.
I'll still be around cheering you all on! You guys have been such a wonderful support group! I can't imagine doing this without you all

You definitely didn't spoil the April fun. Odds are, more than half of us will walk away with BFNs or MCs - that's the reality of all this. IVF is not for the faint of heart. This is hard, and to do this and undergo and endure it, you must be very brave.
I'm so sorry that this has happened, truly. I don't know how you're feeling, but when my last transfer failed, I was a mess. The first failed FET, I mean, it really sucked, but I wasn't totally crushed. The second FET fail, though? I was crushed. I felt like my heart had been ripped out of my chest. Honestly, it was the worst part of this whole journey, for me.
I know all of us feel pain at different points - for some, the first FET fail is worse than a second; for others, losing embryos before blast can be worse, etc... Anyway, if you spend all next week crying into a box of oreos, I will 100% understand, and I wish I could be there to cry with you.
Thinking of you and sending you a big hug! IF is BS.
AFM, I am not really that excited. I'm happy for the good vibes, and glad for them, but I feel a little more like a prisoner going to trial than someone about to get KU-ed. My RE said something the other day about being "very confident for this next go!" and I'm sure glad he is, because I am NOT. I'm more, um, like a zombie.
I keep thinking though, maybe for this go, I don't need to be so alert and engaged. Maybe I just need to let the system carry me.
@kristimh80 you are not ruining the April fun! Like funkykey said unfortunately you were the first but you will not be the only one. This whole thing just sucks! Everyone should be able to get their BFP. I’ll be praying that you get yours next round!
@funkykey since our transfers are on the same day I’m assuming my beta will also be the 30th. I haven’t gotten that info yet. Since our day ten is technically Sunday I was wondering when my re would like to schedule it. I doubt she was going to test early so the 30th sounds about right.
@kristimh80 I'm so sorry I found my failed transfers were so much harder than any other BFN. Be gentle with yourself and give yourself time to feel all the feels. I hope you can get in to see your RE sooner. ((Hugs))
GL to everyone one else going through monitoring - I hope everything stays on track for transfer!

@funkykey I'm sorry you're not feeling very excited this go around but the fact that you're doing this next one tells me you're one tough cookie and you don't give up and those qualities in a person are bad ass in my eyes!
@tosh24 This is a natural cycle so nothing iron clad on a specific FET date right? Hope your lining gets nice and thick!
Everyone who is going monitoring today GL.... especially @artemis618 on you beta today
AFM, Tomorrow is CD3 i'll go in and get BW and US most likely they'll do 2 estradriol for a week check again and boost it up to 3. Last time my lining was 10.3 on CD14 i'm hoping for the same results this go around and DAYUM this AF is brutal my heating pad and motrin are my BFFs today... and maybe that pint of ice cream in the freezer and possibly some left over easter candy lol i'm almost eating for 2 so its ok ,right?
Crap, I forgot that today was beta day @artemis618!!!! FX for an amazing beta. I sincerely hope this is your THB.
@funkykey I think after multiple failures the excitement that IVF is for sure going to work and it's the procedure that's going to make our baby dreams come true has been shot down. I think it's natural to feel terror instead of excitement. At this point, I wouldn't call my feelings toward transfer excitment. I'd call it "fear/going with the flow and hoping my heart doesn't break at beta". Just try and remember that not being jumping-up-and-down-excited/hopeful will not prevent the embryo from implanting. Do what you need to do and take care of yourself physically and emotionally and that will be enough. Really keeping my FX for you this cycle ❤
@ndz2018 Yay for a new cycle! The AF I had after my medicated cycle was horrendous. I rarely get cramps with AF but I was on the couch with my heating pad. Hope this is the last AF you have for awhile

@funkykey You are 100% right on everything you said. After all the failed cycles last year, I wanted to be excited to finally get to this point, but a part of me always had that little voice in the back of head of caution. Even at the FET itself, I felt like I just going thru the motions and completely zoned out! I think, at least for some of us, as we go thru this process, we start getting a little jaded. I know for me, I tried being positive and hopeful, but at same time was preparing myself for the worse. That way it wouldn't be as much of a shock when it happened. I will be here to be positive for you!
@tosh24 Hope your blood work comes back good news! Thanks for the kinds words
@ndz2018 Hope you start feeling better soon!! You didn't like estrogen to begin with...sorry it still seems to be messing with you!
I'll be rooting you girls on this month. I think being in the midst of you all keeps me sane, so I doubt I'll be taking any breaks.
AFM: I really appreciate all your kind word and support! You guys are amazing and so glad we are all on this journey together!! I'm feeling a lot better today! Still sucks, but I was prepared, so I think that helped so much. Now this weekend will be retail therapy!

@funkykey was thinking the same about the sad odds of this process
I wish they were higher. It's so much better than it was 10 or 20 years ago, but I still wish there were higher success rates. My clinic's are even pretty good, but when I look at them, I still think: "wow, there's a lot of heartbreak there." For my age with each transfer, if you haven't done PGS, it's basically flipping a coin.
@funkykey So true and even with PGS there's no guarantee. Some times after reading those new articles about PGS testing...I wonder if it's even worth it and if things can correct themselves. My RE gave me a 75% success rate for 1 embryo. Now I'm over here like hmm ok lady lol But then again it doesn't shock me I'd be apart the 25% lol

@tosh24 yay! You’re coming up soon too! @ndz2018 you’re going to be transferring before you know it.... everything goes so slow then suddenly it’s like someone put their foot on the gas pedal! @kristimh80 we are definitely here for you and with you. I would be shopping my ass off. That’s pretty much how I deal with these things. @artemis618 thinking of you, lady!! @funkykey “it sucks” pretty much defines so much about infertility. The only good part is you guys! afm yesterday was so stressful in so many ways... yes it’s exciting getting your transfer date, but then it sets in that this is it and so much can go wrong/fail. We signed our consents yesterday and at this clinic the paperwork made you explicitly say they can thaw as many embies it takes to get one or two to transfer.... in other words, in case some/most die in the thawing. I just hate thinking about that a week in advance! Last time I didn’t worry about it till night before transfer. Ugh, anyway I worried the rest of the day till I got home and decided to get myself busy doing all the little crap that I can control, which is basically planning rounds of Brazil nuts, Pom juice and pineapple core.... busy work!!!
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

So...I am beta-official. First beta at 9dp5dt came back on the low side of the "normal" range I was given of 50-100 at 67. So we're still in the game, hoping for a nice increase on Monday. It's so hard not to compare to last time (my only frame of reference when beta was 153 @9dp5dt - that doubled appropriately and *TW* still didn't end well...) - but I knew when my hpts were not as dark that it'd be lower. I really have to try to take this journey one day at a time, and today we're pregnant!

@funkykey since our transfers are on the same day I’m assuming my beta will also be the 30th. I haven’t gotten that info yet. Since our day ten is technically Sunday I was wondering when my re would like to schedule it. I doubt she was going to test early so the 30th sounds about right.
@artemis618 @alcnyc @tosh24 GL at your appointments today!
Congrats to @alfieb-2 & @smittenkitten_aka_knottie821! FX for great second betas!
@kristimh80 I'm so sorry

@ndz2018 Hope you start feeling better soon!! You didn't like estrogen to begin with...sorry it still seems to be messing with you!

@ndz2018 you’re going to be transferring before you know it.... everything goes so slow then suddenly it’s like someone put their foot on the gas pedal!
@kristimh80 we are definitely here for you and with you. I would be shopping my ass off. That’s pretty much how I deal with these things.
@artemis618 thinking of you, lady!!
