I'm always an early bird, but I'm likely going to be transferring in April!
My stats:
7 IVF cycles
3 Uterine surgeries (2 Fibroid and one Septum removal)
1 FET
(tw) 4 MC's
Hoping we have a nice group of April ladies!! I speak to my scheduling nurse and financial coordinator next week!

So glad someone started a thread for April.  I have my first FET scheduled for April 10th.  I just started bcp today.  Did my first cycle of IVF in January with a fresh 5 day transfer.  *tw that cycle resulted in a very early miscarriage. end *tw  I have been trying to figure out where I belong being in between cycles.  The long wait between cycles is very frustrating.

@dragonette505 April FET UNITE! 

This is our first FET. Like my girl @dragonette505 I too had a uterine septum surgery on 1/22 that was success and things look great. Initially they told me I was Going to transfer in March but my doc said that the septum was so big she would like to wait 2 cycles to make it the best environment for our little embryo. So here I am. A little about us  ... I’m 37 and my H is 42( will be 43 next month) we have MFI (low count 7 mil and less than 1% morph) and I had the septate uterus so she moved us straight to IVF. Our ER was in Dec where we had 29 eggs retrieved, 21 fertilized with ICSI, and 12 made it to day 5 and PGS testing. We wound up with 5 PGS normal embryos and 3 mosaic embryos. I’m almost finished up with the estradriol from the surgery(to help the lining from where they cut away the septum) and have 2 more days of provera left... should be getting AF the end of Feb some time and all of March will be a hormone free month before start prep for FET when I get AF late March. 

@mcgeeva HEYYYY guess we both had to move over to April FET. 

@laurengon82 I havent Gotten any dates yet but I’m thinking I’ll probably be around the 10th as well if my AF cooperates which she never does. I guess We’ll know more when I get AF at the end of this month

laurengon82 The wait for all this crap in general sucks. When you think you have it all planned out something always seems to happen. But here to looking forward to april!

mcgeeva Hey! Great to have you here! FET's are much easier than an IVF cycle so things dont really get stressful till the 2ww

laurengon82 yeah the in between times sucks... thats why i usually start these things early! Its so nice to get to know each other before we are all in the thick of a cycle! By the time we have our schedules, we will all be buddies! So sorry for your loss btw.... (tw) I also had a loss from my FET (and one next cycle)

AFM I may get a tentative schedule in the next couple weeks (but of course its based on my cycle).
It will be interesting to see how this FET goes. My last FET was with my last clinic and it was based on my natural cycle ( so no BCP's). I did have to trigger after a positive on my fertility monitor and then estrogen and progesterone. Cant wait to find out the protocol from my new clinic!

What things are you ladies doing to prepare?
ME: Tons of supplements (happy to list if you guys all want to list yours as well), paleo diet, typical exercise (daily cardio, dance several times a week)
Meditation (now once a week but will up to daily during the FET cycle)
I will add acupuncture starting with my AF heading into the cycle (will do acupuncture on transfer day directly after transfer) I will also do pineapple core from transfer day for 7 days and some pomegranate as well.
I plan to stay pretty chill otherwise but im probably forgetting some of the stuff I did and will do. I find doing "stuff" keeps you busy and distracted... OH YEAH!
I always POAS. Whether I trigger or not i will be POASing DAILY from either trigger (test out trigger then test for preg) or from day after transfer (because i am just that kind of gal!!)

Does everyone have a 6-7 week between retrieval and their transfer?? I need to figure out how to majorly keep stress down. So worried that will effect things since I'm a stress ball most of the time.

mcgeeva Some of us have longer waits... my last IVF cycle was in December. Then i had a month to prep for septum removal surgery. Then another month of recovery from surgery. So all told its about 3 months waiting.
I think one way to use the time is to just feel healthy and not being on hormones. If you are really feeling stressed maybe hop into acupuncture early?? It really can be good to give yourself busy work!

My goodness that is painful wait! Maybe I have never done it. I am definitely going to fill myself with projects. Cleaning out rooms, building a gate for our dog etc. But still time better pass fast!

What I’m doing for waiting for FET:
-Sticking with my supplements prenats, Vit C, Vit D, ubiquinol 
-trying to make better decisions when it comes to food. Lots of veggies and fruits(mainly berries) 
- Started acupunture twice a week
- will be also be doing pineapple core and pomegranate juice after transfer.

I don’t think I’m going to POAS during the wait if I do it will be the day before or the morning of the Beta this way I have A better idea whether I will Be immensely disappointed when I get the call later that day or ecstatic that it’ll be positive.

okay... when i go home I'll get all the names and brands... its so much! lolol
I also think POAS at least before beta is a good idea... i would never want to be blindsided by the phone call (especially if im at work getting the call!)
but of course i cant help myself and POAS the whole time

I haven’t gotten my treatment plan yet.  I’m meeting with the doctor next week to go over everything.  For now just bcp, then I’ll start Lupron on March 10th.  I’ve never taken Lupron before.  The nurse at my clinic said since I had a loss that the doctor wants me to have 2 AF’s before starting another cycle.  She said if I had just had a negative I could have gone right into the next cycle, but they want to make sure everything is cleared out and nothing left behind.  I’m glad to hear that cause thinking of having to go 3 months between every cycle was stressing me out.

I’m probably going to just do my prenatals, and no other supplements.  Most days I can barely remember to take those.  I’ve heard a bunch of people mention pineapple, but I don’t know much about it.  What is that used for?

laurengon82  Yeah with a loss you need a little more time... its good to have a clear cycle before starting again, so MC cycle, fresh cycle and transfer cycle is pretty normal. Pineapple are high in Bromelain which is good for reducing inflammation and can lower immune response (which even if you dont have an autoimmune disease, stress causes inflammation and we all have lots of that). It is also a super mild natural blood thinner which can help with blood flow to the uterus for implantation...
no clinical studies to confirm that it helps, but its more of a lucky charm as well as something that cant hurt and might help that also makes you feel involved in your treatment instead of just a science project...
its one of the reasons Pineapples are a symbol of hope in infertility and ttc.

Afm, after my failed IVF#1 last Nov. We moved to a new clinic and new dr made me do IUI. Our first try was a bust and this month I'm benched bc I ovulated early. Waiting for AF now.

Hi everyone, hope I can join. I am in the March FET also since my AF is suppose to come and of March, I might be doing ET in April...also my birthday month...so hoping I get a nice birthday presen@drewiekc
I did IVF in January but got a polyp that had to be removed in february..so now waiting for AF in March.
@dragonette505, I want too try acupuncture... it after my ivf in january...needles seem like they might stress me out more....but the concept of more blood flow seems logical and I might want to try...I also heard that it's better if it's someone who knows about infertility.
Anyone know a good acupuncture place in NYC? 
I am so liking that everyone is sharing their medications/stress relievers....God knows we need some of that!

@knottie821 Hey! Yin Ova is awesome! There are some places that also take insurance (if yours covers that let me know and I’ll tell you a good place that takes insurance). 
Also can I suggest updating your screen name? There are so many knottie names it gets confusing. I think you have to go back to the knot and update your profile

@tinjp78 I’m trying naturally in March as well, so maybe we both get lucky!!

@dragonette505 Yesterday was the last day of Estradriol and progesterone... post surgery hormones DONE! Hoping to get AF by the end of this week. I think I’m just gonna take the month off NTNP. I need A break from the chaos of IF!

I did indeed said it - very early on as we kept together through the summer and so on   I'm excited to see everyone graduate!!

@dragonette505 ah you were benched - I did miss that!  I did wonder where you were....I was very sick myself in the beginning and it was hard for me to keep up so I assumed I missed it.  So excited to see you back!

Yup, my new re discovered i had a Uterine septum that covered 1/3rd of my uterine lining so no matter if I had any good embies, a baby would never make it very long (stops the placenta from developing as the lining is covered). Had to prep for one month then the surgery and now finishing the month of hormones to build back up the lining and hopefully stop scar tissue from building up. Had to be benched for all of that.

I hope my period starts ASAP.... the sooner it comes the sooner I can move ahead!! You’re back in the saddle now! 
Are you getting a fluid sono after your bleeding stops? That’s the plan with my re. She won’t transfer till she sees what my lining looks like for herself

@dragonette505 You know what? I have no clue. On my follow up appointment she didn’t say anything like that. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow when I talk to my nurse. I was hoping they would do something to see and make sure things were all sparkly in there!!

I think it is probably okay, but my lady is hella conservative as far as transfers... i know for a fact that she will be looking at not just my ute, but my thyroid hormone and whatever else she things before transfer. I might end up doing intralipids just cause. She is throwing everything at it, but obv it starts with if my lining looks good. Hope they will check you too!

Nurse said she is putting in the orders to the pharmacy for our FET!!  I know i just started AF and It’s a least month before we start anything and I’m trying to keep my excitement at bay here but I cant Help feel optimistic.

Yay! I am working with my financial coordinator and scheduling nurse this week as well! lol... since im coming in at the beginning of my off cycle (for my pre cycle water sono) they want me in the system now.
Things are beginning to pick up!!!

Just got a call from the pharmacy everything in the system for when I’m ready. I shouldve Written down on my phone what they were but I think There’s some cream I think, PIO, estrogen pill and something else... can’t remember. I’ll find out when I call Back later this week to order it. I was out walking the dog when they called.
