little about myself…ME: 45 DH: 44. Trying
to conceive since 2015. First IVF attempt
failed due to no viable embryos, so after thinking about it a lot, we decided
to move to egg donation. Last year we got
a lot of 6 frozen eggs (since we live in FL no fresh egg donor cycles were allowed due to the zika virus), 5 made it through thawing…and ended up with 2 embryos, transferred
one which ended in MC at 5.5 weeks. We
are transferring our one and only embryo on Apr 25th.
So
far, everything is working as scheduled.
Next US on 04/20 to check my lining and confirm FET.
This
time in addition to acupuncture I am meditating (online/app) and I
think is really helping with the anxiety….probably also this time I know what
to expect and we know that this is the last chance we have, so no more uncertainty about the future.

thanks everyone! Glad to know I’m not going insane haha. My appointment went well this morning. My lining is at 9 and estrogen went up to 888. RE said I had three stripes on my lining . Set to go for 4/19!
They actually ARE giving me Valium for my procedure. She said two pills this time but not sure how much that is though and just rest for 24 hours.

In real life....not so much. Not even sure if a *TW* is warranted, but just in case. So, I am weak and I did POAS this morning with FMU - and for those of you thinking about it when the time comes - kind of like last time at 7dp5dt (which again I “only” did b/c a woman on November 17 FET who transferred after I did freakishly got her BFP hpt before then), I got the most obnoxious, *maybe* shadow of a squinter evap line thing that I probably only “saw” because I wanted to (if any of you really cares to see, I can PM you a pic). Like it literally did nothing for me. I know it’s still early for me (with my natural pregnancy I didn’t get a positive till 16DPO - I recorded a negative in FF at 13DPO, but then decided to test again after I saw 16 high temps). So I’m not crushed because I think I’m out, and I’m not celebrating anything either - just sort of am at the moment.
Based on my last experience POAS after transfer (and this transfer was later in the day than the last), I knew that it’d be truly pointless for me any earlier than 7dp5dt - but even today at that it was still kind of pointless. I guess I concede that if they really could tell much earlier, they’d make our betas earlier.
Also, @kristimh80 Super strange about the cow dream. I can’t remember how or why this came up in conversation - but DH said that he’d never call me a cow (I really don’t even know what led to him even saying that)...until I produce milk
@J1006 Yay for Valium (honestly, I think it did relax my muscles, but otherwise I just sort of felt a touch drowsy like I do from allergy medicine). I also got two 10mg pills - but one was for the night before. I think I mentioned, but I ended up taking half the night before to sleep, half in the AM when I woke up, and a full one when they told me to before the procedure.

@dragonette505 No doubt! My best friend is trying her best at 47 to have her 3rd baby because her bf wants kids. Her 1st 2 were super easy for her, so she tries to relate but it's not the same. Luckily, people have stopped trying to give us advice and how to get preggo. That was the worst lol

@artemis618. The nurse told me two pills before the transfer when I get there so I’m assuming they are a lower dose. Or I will for sure be knocked out. I’m such a lightweight when it comes to this kind of stuff.
I know how nervous everyone here must be. I wish I had more than just hang in there and believe you have some magic in you. It's hard to have hope when so many issues that can arise. I wish I had some magic and could just take a wand out and start giving babies out to those who really want them, like you guys!
@kristimh80, and @artemis618. I had similar symptoms towards the end right before beta...I usually get cramps with AF. But not bloating...had to start wearing my "big pants". I am on mobile so I cant do the spoiler box (either that or i am tech illiterate) and I have been so busy lately with work and home so haven't had time to break out my laptop. Sorry I don't mean to keep everyone out of the loop, but I also don't want to put stuff in people's faces when they are not ready for it. Now where is the spreadsheet?
