Not sure if any of you has stumbled across her page.  If not, heads up - the couple is kind of ridiculous - they’re both gorgeous, it’s like all engagement pictures all the time, and they’re both attorneys to boot (not sure if she’s still practicing).

So glad to have an all day work training today to help pass the time...

@mcgeeva. That is awful. It is always something.  I hope that fluid goes away quickly.

tosh24 I'm so glad your DH is on board for the ERA!!! Yay!!!! But youre right.... the majority of fertility issues are with the woman, so it seems weird they would more readily cover stuff for the man.
mcgeeva  I'm keeping my fingers crossed they don't outright cancel you

@tosh24 dude I’m sure they totally understand why you cried I would have too! And it’s not a fast process so lots of time to think etc. I hope this cycle works and with a change up after transfer.

@tosh24 Hell yeah fight for the reimbursement especially if they can’t come up for a reason you shouldn’t have it! Glad your H was just like pay for it! And crying during this process is totally natural even for the toughest bitch it could bring us all to our knees sobbing like children lol
@artemis618  ummm yeah I kinda wanna puke at their pictures.. I love how people portray their lives all perfect Bc as we all know it’s not real, well at least for me it’s not.

@mcgeeva. So sorry for this news. This is my first transfer so I don’t have any experience with this. My RE did tell me that she cancels right away if there is fluid. She doesn’t want to waste the embryo. Hopefully yours won’t do the same. This is why I get so nervous for my monitoring appointments. Any sign of fluid and I’m done. So annoying about those ladies. 
DH and I went to a baseball game this weekend with a bunch of his work people. All the ladies did the whole time was talk/complain about their beautiful babies. I just sat there holding it all in. I would love to be woken up in the middle of the night by my baby. I would love to have meals interrupted by my child. It’s just so frustrating.

@J1006 yeah that’s hard when everyone is talking about it and your out with them. Ugh.. I’ve always said people that had to go through treatments have a different perspective on their babies and kids. My friends that get knocked up randomly complain about every part of pregnancy how they hate it etc. I never did. I loved every minute bc it’s a flipping blessing.

@J1006 PREACH GIRL! I had stop hanging out with some of my friends I grew up with because of stuff like that.. We’d have a girls night and all they’d do is bitch about their kids till finally i just started declining their invitations.

Okay so now I’m confused. My nurse consulted with my doctor and he said not to worry we are okay right now and to move on as scheduled and no need to take anything and worse case they will try to aspirate before. So I’m going to take a sigh of relief now and not worry till they tell me to worry. Ahhhhh

mcgeeva Okay... that makes sense. I think if it comes time to transfer and its not gone then they will reassess, but no need to pre worry (I say that as I sit and pre worry! lol).

Okay that’s what I’m thinking. I’ve been with my doctor for 10 years so I don’t think he would chance my embryos either. So let’s see what happens..

@tosh24, I would fight for every cent I can....it adds up quickly when you have so many things to do...especially if they are doing it because you are a female.

@ndz2018 and @J1006, I hate listening to people complain about their kids...they have no idea how hard it is to have one because they never have to go through all this emotional, physical and mental stress we go through and take it for granted. 

@artemis618, how are you holding up? Any symptoms.

@alfieb-2, you have beta tomorrow?

@kristimh80, how are you feeling? Don't worry, if you don't feel anything...I didn't either, at first and then a week after transfer I started get AF like symptoms!

Alright when I get back in town I’ll deal with this ish Friday. I just had to do some damage with some retail therapy. I always feel so bad I drop so much at VS on nothing! How many pairs of underwear does a girl need?! I must have 100. I did find a pair of pineapple socks

@mcgeeva Glad your doctor is confident enough to move forward. I would 100% request a check prior to transfer. Even if it's the day of transfer - they have an u/s machine there anyway, might as well make sure everything is optimal.

@dragonette505 wow that looks so much better than my Panko chicken fingers I made lol. Or my spaghetti squash with Alfredo sauce. I try to be healthy but lord I’m not that good! Very professional photo. And it’s with zucchini??! How do you keep it from getting watery?

mcgeeva  oh for sure i'd want to have the fluid clear before transfer... I would ask them if they can schedule an ultrasound maybe one or two days before transfer (because I wouldn't want them to do a thaw on my embies if my ute wasn't ready, so day of may be too late)... I don't blame you for shopping... I did some stress shopping myself this week! . The way to keep zucchini from getting watery is to use it raw! That's also what creates the texture that you don't get when removing the chick peas!

Thanks @tosh24  I must have missed your previous post.  Those anniversaries have a way of sneaking up on us - I swear I don’t know how we’re already in April!  Hope the ERA provides some answers (well, even more I hope you won’t need it!), and if you do need it, definitely fight insurance for it.  All they can say is “no” (again).

AFM, zero symptoms except maybe some bloating I didn’t notice last time (or maybe I just notice because my acupuncturist mentioned it?) - just taking it day by day.  So far holding off on POAS because I’m scared (and it’s still a touch early - but mostly the scared)

Ladies... I don't know if it's just me, but I'm always so tense before the results from the monthly threads start coming in. FX for everyone who will get their beta results these next couple of days. The whole thing is nerve wracking!

I got my ERA results back, and I'm receptive. Which means it's most likely I just had the misfortune of transferring 2 irregular embryos in a row... At least that's most likely. Ugh. Part of me hoped that there would be some explanation.

Anyway, I will have the official, confirmed date for my FET on Friday, but it looks like it will be 4/19.

@tosh24 - ugh. Hang in there. Good for the other woman re: the insurance coverage. For you, if you're doing natural cycles, would the ERA just tell you how to alter your progesterone? 

@mcgeeva - I'm sorry about the fluid, but glad you are moving forward.

@artemis618 - your description of that blog made me laugh. I love zee bloggers!

@J1006 - hanging out with moms is the worst. Because a lot of the time, that's what they do - just complain about how much work being a mom is. The blerst.

@artemis618 I feel you girl! I made the mistake of testing a couple days ago and it gave me anxiety so I said I wouldn't do it again for my own sanity. I don't have many symptoms either, besides feeling like AF wants to start. Have had bloating, so wearing workout leggings instead of regular b/c they have a tighter band so it's not as noticeable under work clothes lol Otherwise, it's just AF feelings like backache & slight period cramps. So don't feel bad. Until the last couple days I haven't felt much. 

@funkykey Great news! Glad to see you have some answers one day or another. I wish ERA tests were included with all IVF cycles. I know what you mean with anxiety over monthly results. I've always felt that way as well when seeing things coming in. Lately, it seems like a lot of positive updates...which is good!

@funkykey I'm right with you about feeling nervous - I'm not even transferring this months anymore but tbh I've been checking in here every so often cos I really want to see how you ladies have been getting on (I haven't been commenting enough - and for that I'm sorry - I normally arrive a little too late to give any meaningful advice to the ongoing conversations). But I just want to say that your are all in my thoughts and my heart and I am wishing every one of you magnificent ladies all the baby dust in the coming days and weeks

Ugh. I don’t know what my deal is today but I am in mood!  I don’t know if it’s the hormones or what but I am just pissed off at everything. I’m pissed that I had to make an IVF payment this morning, that I have to make up excuses at work as to why I’m late this morning, that yet again I’m sitting in a waiting room to get what feels like the millionth u/s. Then as I’m walking in to the hospital that my fertility clinic is in Twinkle twinkle little star starts to play which means a baby was just born.  I guess today is just going to be one of those days. Usually I’m a crier, this angry mood is new.  I’m blaming my meds...that’s what I’m going with this morning. My kids at work better be angels today! 

Sorry for the rant...you guys are great listeners

J1006 My acupuncturist told me I should be feeling like a mega b!tch right now... I don't really have that going constantly, but I'm an already impatient girl, and now its like WTF every second... I have no patience for anything! Plus... if I worked where you do and was going through this, I would be a beast... putting your body through hell and hearing the jingle of successful moms??? I would not be a happy camper.

@cmarieb35 No POAS for me today. I tried early on and make me super anxious and aggravated. I always said I would before, but until your in it...you never really know how you'll feel. For a lot of us, POAS can be stressful.
