Thanks for the support ladies. No, the boys were not in the car, thank goodness! Thankfully I Drive a tank, aka a Ford Expedition, so there was hardly any damage to my car meanwhile his tiny focus probably needs a new door. I’m going to the ER cuz I’m a little sore in the abdomen and I’d rather just a peace of mind. Plus their insurance will have to pay and that helps my out of pocket for the year.
Fastest ER trip ever. The doctor took me right back from triage and did an ultrasound. Baby bean Cora Fiona seven still has a heartbeat so everything looks good. I’m hella sore but if that’s the worst of it I’ll take it.

@calimom2524 How scary! I'm glad you drive a tank and that you and CFS are both okay! Take it easy, mama.

Totally just blurted out to a co worker that I am pregnant. We are not even that close at all but she is due in April and IDK why, I just blurted it out! I haven't told most of my close friends and colleagues! What is wrong with me?! Can't wait to tell DH's family this weekend so I can spill the beans finally!!!!!!!!
I have my NT scan and NIPT blood draw today! I'm spending my morning chugging water so that my blood will move faster than molasses. With DD2 they turned around my NIPT in 4 days so maybe we'll hear before the end of the week. I need to get the appropriate data from the test kit so I can hook up to Natera online and hopefully get the results sooner. They process on weekends, but the doctor isn't open so I want to be able to see everything asap.
I got burned with DD2 because I didn't have the necessary info to sign up via Natera, and I had blood drawn the friday before thanksgiving. The doctor posted results the Monday after thanksgiving and I was like "that was fast" but then I looked at the fax from Panorama and it had come in the previous Wednesday but the office was closed Wednesday through Friday for the holiday. I was annoyed when I saw that.
@calimom2524 glad to hear you're ok. I got into a wreck when I was pregnant too and it was a great, fast ER trip as well. Time to go to the chiropractor.
@delujm0 - Yay for seeing baby today! Have a great appointment, can't wait to see an awesome update! @ecwk - lol! What was her reaction? It will be so nice to have someone to go through this with at work! @calimom2524 - how are you feeling today? @lalala2004 - can't wait to see what the OB says! Will be stalking for an update!
I guess this would be better suited for the questions or symptoms board, but this seems more active so I'm posting here. YOLO.
I have a question for the ladies in here that have migraines. Do we have any fellow migraine sufferers? How are you coping? I am doing "okay," but I've had four now since getting pregnant. This is different from my first pregnancy where they went away almost entirely. Last night's migraine was actually really scary; I don't have hemiplegic migraines (at least, no history of them), but last night's was what I would call hemiplegic. I had all the classic signs which mimic a stroke. I feel better today, just have that fantastic migraine hangover. Actually have an eye doctor appointment today so I will be mentioning that episode and calling my OB as well. My migraines have changed as I've gotten older. I get a rash on my face and my ears burn like I have a fever. The only thing that really works for them are triptans (Relpax specifically) but I can't/won't take that during pregnancy.
Hello second trimester! Total coincidence, but today is the first day in months I’m not tired! Perhaps it was the great speed in which I chugged my cup of coffee this morning, though. Like, it’s a wonder my throat isn’t burned.
Plus, I’m all jazzed because we’re doing more planning for the Disney trip I’m taking at the end of April!
@calimom2524 also wondering how you’re feeling today. The day after an accident is never fun.
@Firemanswife11 I don't have any advice really, just wanted to say I'm so sorry that you're dealing with migraines. @ecwk I missed you above, how is DS doing today? @F47 - Disney sounds like so much fun! Enjoy the planning!
@mrsbubbles-2 she was happy and excited but like my close friends would be way more enthusiastic...IDK, I just felt like spilling to her! LOL and DS seems to be ok today, thanks for asking. He is home with DH now and I am leaving early to take over (but stopping for a mani/pedi first as it is really my only opportunity before going to FL Friday!)
@Firemanswife11 sorry, I don't have any advice but that sounds scary! Hoping your doc is able to help figure it out and get you some relief from the episodes!
I can't believe how long some people wait to say anything! My family is terrible at secrets. My DH and mom were telling all of their co-workers the day after my BFP, and I told people over the holidays after I'd had my first ultrasound at 9 weeks. I probably would have waited a little longer for a general announcement, but my mom and husband were both already telling dio many people that I wanted in on it, and it was going to get out anyway
@F47 I'm going to Disney World over spring break for DSS 18th birthday. I'm pretty excited, especially since my doctor gave me the ok to ride rollercoasters! Do you have any Disney advice?

@Firemanswife11 I get migraines too. That was actually my first pregnancy symptom, as I would get them every day when I normally only have 2-3 a month. First tri sucked because of it and I’m still getting some but I don’t have the same symptoms as yours, just the classic intense pain, light and sound sensitivity, and pregnancy has added the nausea to it as well. I’ve just been taking Tylenol (which doesn’t do much) and plenty of caffeine, plus an ice pack on wherever it hurts. I hope you get an answer on something you can take that’s pregnancy safe and helps!

I get it - I told someone I'm not very close with (a coworker, a neighbour etc) super early each time for some reason... it feels so much more low-stakes than telling friends and family somehow!

Definitely! I told the hairdresser lol! We are waiting because we want to tell DHs family in person and wanted to wait unti after NT scan for obvious reasons.
I told a bunch of my coworkers yesterday because I was leaving our meeting early to go to my NT scan, and I was a shaky disaster. I'm probably going to tell my principal today because word is spreading.

@Firemanswife11 I wish I had advice, but have you tried any “alternate” type treatments like chiropractor or acupuncture? Have you been able to figure out if any foods trigger you? One of my friends has had some luck limiting her migraines with things like that. She still gets them, but not as frequently or as severe.
(And this is totally kind of not related, but I used to work in a restaurant where 'CFS' stood for chicken fried steak so that's what i've been calling your LO in my head )
