@F47 I am the same way- when I worked with the last pregnancy, it was easy to pop on on the desktop. Being home now, mobile bump sucks and drains by battery instantly, so I’m not on much at all
@dirtanddiamonds girl me too. I have so many things in my cart to order once we know for sure what the sex of this baby is. Hopefully that's aligned with a payday
@calimom2524 I just scheduled my A/S for 3/22. Feels like FOREVER away! Ugh.

I just had a routine appt, but I got my anatomy scan scheduled for March 19! I'm pretty excited. I'm team green, but I wonder if I'll be able to tell when I see the ultrasound.
Me:32 DH:45 DSD: 20 DSS: 18 Team green baby due: Aug 6th, 2018
So far, so good! Healthy heartbeat at 168 and baby waved and hiccuped for us. I'm actually measuring ahead by almost a week. Just waiting to see my doctor and get my blood drawn.
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!

@derbysquirrel I'm in the same boat, Team Green, I'm not militant about it, but I'd just really like to be surprised. However I'm pretty sure I'd be able to tell a noticeable penis on an ultrasound if I saw it. Although I wonder if the techs who do the anatomy scans ask beforehand if you want to know, so they can avoid looking at those areas, or just not put it on the big screen that I see. lol
That said, my next ultrasound isn't till February 28th when I'll be mid 14th week. That seems forever from now.
I had a boy, knew it was a boy, had double the number of U/S's because I had placenta previa and unless the U/S tech pointed it out, I didn't notice the "boy parts".
@neeraja_k Usually they'll ask before they get down to those bits. If you're team green they'll have you look away or turn the screen away from you at that point. They need to take pictures of all of the anatomy, so they'll know and it will be marked in your chart after the appointment as well. If you're watching during those you'd more than likely be able to figure it out

@derbysquirrel - ditto @ecwk, for ours when the US tech got to that point she asked if we wanted to know, and if not, it was time to look away. We already knew we were having a boy so it didn't matter but it was nice to be given the warning.
@mrsbubbles-2 she is doing much better, thank you for asking! we’re off to a check up appointment in a few minutes. I’ll be glad when we’re not having to go to the doctor every few days.
My doctors already know the sex because I did the NIPT testing a couple of weeks ago, and it bugs me that they know, but I don't! I kind of feel that if I can figure it out from the ultrasound then I deserve to know, lol.
I also lost 5 pounds in the last month. I think it's ok since I had gained quite a bit in the first tri, and now that the nausea has let up some I no longer have to eat every 2 hours to avoid throwing up. I'm sure I lost some water weight as well. I'm still up 7 pounds overall at 15 weeks.
Me:32 DH:45 DSD: 20 DSS: 18 Team green baby due: Aug 6th, 2018
So since my cellphone was off due to a system computer glitch all last Friday unbeknownst to me, I missed any calls/voicemails that might have come in. I called today to talk to my doctor's nurse about the GD test and I also asked if my NIPT results ever came in, that it's going on two weeks now and don't they know pregnant lady patience levels are really low. She said he's been swamped the last few days and hasn't really had time to do more than the daily basics.
She gave me the rundown for what's next with the GD, and reassured me, which honestly did help. And guess what? More ultrasounds to see Lil Bean more, bonus!
Then she said my NIPT results are in and that although she's not really qualified to give me the results, because the doctor hasn't officially reviewed them yet, that she didn't see anything that screamed abnormal.
She said that she's printed them all out and put them on his desk with a hot pink post-it, so I should be getting a call from either her or his other nurse tomorrow with the official results.
Talk about a load off. All I could do was start crying on the phone.
Finally home. Baby was measuring a week ahead and had a nice strong heartbeat. She was moving a bit and we got a bunch of pictures. NT scan was perfect and the doctor said not to stress about the carrier screening- the odds of DH also being a carrier are slim. I had blood drawn for the Panorama test and my first Sequential Screening, so hopefully we'll know the sex soon. I go back on March 15th for my next check up, but the doctor said everything looked great.
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
So I just got into a car accident. Nothing major but I’m still super duper shaky. It wasn't high speed, i was going about 35 and the guy turned left in front of me. I slammed on my brakes but still hit his passenger door.
@neeraja_k so glad the office was helpful and glad you should have your final results soon!
Im sure I missed a whole bunch of other things. This and the MBF thread are blending together in my head bc I just read them all in the last few minutes.
For people worried about whether they will accidentally find out the sex on the ultrasound, you can definitely ask them to have you look away during that part. My husband is a radiologist, so that's what we plan on doing. It worked fine for one of his coworkers, so we are hopeful that we should be able to avoid finding out too.
I had the makings of a disaster day that ended up turning out okay. Forgot to take my nausea meds before I left the house this morning and then left my bag o' snacks sitting on the counter. Work went fine though, and I got through without feeling all that sick! Felt like I was actually getting back to my old self. A nice feeling.
@roadspeckle so glad to hear it! Big hugs, hope the dr appts thin out very soon! @jsnakehole awesome news! Love hearing reports of good appts! @neeraja_k so glad she was reassuring!
I updated the its a boy / girl thread but all NIPT testing came back with no markets and we found out we’re having a girl! I’m so overwhelmed right now, I’ve been having dreams of both boys and girls so no real Mom intuition this time. Super excited though.
