TGIF! So yesterday I pick DS up from school, he had a good day, good mood, good report from his teachers. He takes his coat off when we get home and he pulls out a tiny Zuma action figure from his coat pocket. I asked him where it came from and he said ‘School. I like it, so I have it’. I explained to him that we had to return it to his classroom because we don’t take things that aren’t ours and cue meltdown city!! Apparently ‘baby Zuma’ as he calls it is very near and dear to his heart. Also, my almost 3yo is a klepto. Toddlers man.

@lolog531 - omg that's adorable! My DS does the same thing (without the cute explanation) when we are leaving day care. There's this stuffed banana that is apparently his whole world and he has a major meltdown every time I tell him it's time to put Nana back so we can go home. Sigh.

@mrsbubbles-2 he's running a temp and says his throat hurts. It's really red and swollen. Trying to decide if I need to take him in. Last time I thought it was strep, it was just a virus.

@ecwk I'm feeling much better, thank you! Yesterday's insane day at work didn't help my sore back but it's kind of hard to tell at this point what's from the accident and what's from being pregnant/doing too much/sciatica.

@Secretstapler DH and I announced our first pregnancy at Christmas dinner even though I had only found out 2 days before, because all of our parents were in the same room. My Step-MIL later said "Oh I totally could tell in your Christmas card photo because your face looked fuller!" I had to tell her, um, no, those were taken in October but thanks for essentially saying I look fat

I've had SO many friends announce August pregnancies too! My bff who lives across the country from me is actually due July 29th, and one of my closest local friends is due only like 9 days after me. Since we've announced, I've had several messages from friends that we're due the same week, which is especially fun when they were due so close to DS's due date as well!

Was finally feeling the 2nd trimester energy bump... And then had a super physically demanding week at work. I'm not sure the last time my body has been this sore and tired! 2nd trimester massages are generally okay, right? My DH flat out refuses to rub my back because it "hurts his hands." My response:

YES!! Have your massage! I have one next week and I can't wait - enjoy   My DH will rub my shoulders for a hot second before complaining that his "thumbs hurt."

Eeee! I am getting my first haircut since January 2017 today (my hair grows ridiculously slow). I'm beyond excited, but scared. I'm probably getting about half of my hair cut off, because it's so damaged and I'm tired of it feeling and looking dead. I lost a lot of my hair after my miscarriage in July, and what didn't fall out lost its luster and was easily damaged. But now it's growing in again and I need a change.

I think I'm addicted to door dash. I never have time to leave property for lunch and leftovers get old. Also, I hate Dr. Pepper but it's all I want right now. Dafuq?

This is totally TMI but it's Friday so random it is. I cannot stop pooping today. Like it hurts to sit down. Wtf? I haven't eaten anything crazy so I don't get it. Too bad I don't have an appointment today, I'd love the weigh in after a day like today

I got a warning for the “Troll in the Dungeon” gif once, and I see people use it all the time! It’s very arbitrary how the dish out warnings.

Haircut was a success! I tentatively love it, I've never had hair this short. She didn't do too much styling to it, I think she was too amazed at the amount of natural curls that suddenly popped out when she cut it off and didn't want to ruin it. heh

And then I walked out to sideways rain and insane wind, so that kind of ruined it. But it feels so soft.

@neeraja_k I had short hair a couple of years ago like a pixie cut. I liked it a lot! Now I just have this hot mess on my head lol.

Update on the kid: I did an Amwell call and they said it sounded like strep. We started on amox. I don't think it's flu (and plus also they're not even testing kids here for flu anymore AND they don't give Tamiflu so...) I guess if it ended up being flu, I'd feel better that he's on an rx to avoid a secondary infection? I've never been wrong on my diagnosis ses calling Amwell, though. 

He. Is. Miserable. I am having my husband bring home non alcoholic beer... Haha. 

There was just no way in the fiery butt hole of hell I was going to a doctor's office.

@Firemanswife11 I've definitely considered grabbing some non alcoholic beer. Which kind do you get and is it actually any good? I can't wait to get a craft beer on draft. I was craving that so much last pregnancy.

@Firemanswife11 Ugh! Strep throat was awful when I had it as an adult, I can't imagine having it as a kid. I hope he gets better soon!

You might be onto something @legallyKate because my comment was about feeling sorry for kid. Obviously a joke and the next step post-GBCB, usually. It was sarcasm. Not even profane. Clearly joking. But makes me think she hit report. *eyeroll*

I bough Labatt N/A beer and it was actually decent! Much better than any other I’ve ever had. I think Labatt is a Michigan thing though, maybe? I had O’Douls when I was in Cali and it was blah, but it served its purpose while sitting around a fire outside with everyone!

I think the bump sometimes issues warnings without reviewing the content.  It happened in my last group.  A girl got banned for nothing and went back to the admins to argue her old name back and they said she hadn't violated amything and opened her account back up.  That was two years ago though.  I wonder if you just hit report it if it's not reviewed thoroughly and "demerits" given, lol.  Do you get an inbox warning? Bc.....on mobile you have no way of checking notices.  Edit, spelling

My husband has been tutoring his friend's son, who's a senior in high school. DH had surgery today and is going to be on crutches for a week, so the kid came over with a buddy and helped us clean our house. It was pretty amazing. We paid them in soda and cupcakes.
