Hi. I am Chiara. I Will be a STM, my DD is three and I found out yesterday about my pregnancy. I was here in these boards for my first pregnancy and I found lots of support and useful info. I am probably due on the 19th of Feb. I'll try to book an appointment with my OB/GYN later. I am staying with her, I liked her during my first pregnancy, I was Just lucky b/c I went there when I found out without first hearing any opinions on her... Yesterday I messaged her after the test and she reccommended to start taking folic acid. Now for the scary part... I will be 43 next Mon. I am very worried because of my age. When I had DD I was 39 but everything went well, but still I cannot stop worrying... Last thing... Sorry if you find typos, but I am in Italy and my phone has an italian autocorrect, so funny things come out sometimes.
Holy Moly - just realized that I never formally introduced myself. Been mainly a lurker with a few posts, but now that I got my first US, I'm feeling pretty good! We're due 2/15/18, and saw a strong heartbeat. FTM, and will be 36 when I deliver. Can't wait to enjoy this adventure with all of you!
I've been lurking since my husband and I got our BFP 2 weeks ago.
We tried for years to get pregnant. We tried naturally for 1 year, 5 IUIs, 2 IVF cycles and 6 transfers. We suffered 2 miscarriages. We pursued adoption the beginning of 2015 and brought our sweet boy home in Sept last year. Imagine my surprise when my period was a week late and the test came up positive.
Had my first U/S today and measured 6w5d and heard and saw the heart beating at 139 bmp.
Hello! I'm 28 years old, this is a first pregnancy for me. My EDD is February 26th (two days after my birthday!). We just started TTC and had a positive test June 28th! I work in the school system with special needs children and have two fur babies. Oliver the cat and Beau the dog, both 6 this year.

Hi Everyone! I've been lurking for a while and realized I should probably introduce myself. I'm a FTM and due on February 1st! This pregnancy wasn't completely planned. DH and I were planning to TTC in July but as luck would have it we got lucky two months sooner than we originally planned. I'm 27 and DH and I have been together 6 years but only married for 9 months. I'm excited to be on this journey with all of you!

Hi! I've posted on other boards but realized i never actually did an intro. I'm a 27 year old FTM. I'm 9w4d, with an EDD of 2/6/18. DH and I have been married 3 years in August, though we've been together for 8 years. Both of us are incredibly excited to become parents!!
@chirico3 my mom was 43 when she had me and I'm completely healthy! I have a couple friends that have had babies in their forties and all have had successful pregnancies and healthy babies.
Hello! I'm so excited to be here, as it was a very long road for me to finally get pregnant. I'm a first time mom and am currently 6w6d and EDD 2/27/18. I had my first US last week and saw/heard a little flicker of a heartbeat Congrats to all of you here! I'm excited to share this journey with you all.

Our due date is Feb 10th. Look forward to getting to know every one . The bump community was amazing through my first pregnncy and beyond
Hi guys! i have been quietly following for a few weeks. I got my positive may 30 and have an estimated due date of feb 9. I will be a first time mom. My husband and I have struggled w infertility for 3 years- 4 iuis, 2 ivfs and 2 miscarriages. Just had a 9 week us and everything is looking great so we have let down our guard slightly and decided to get a little excited. Happy to be here!
Hey Everyone! I'm Kahlya, 28 and excited to be a STM! EDD of March 3, but planned csection will be late February. Had an early MC last cycle and keeping my hopes high this time around. My first ultrasound is scheduled for July 31st. looking forward to sharing this new journey with everyone
Hi! A little late to introductions. I'm 38 (She don't tell ) and my husband is 35. We have been together since 2013 and will be married 6 months this July. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant with a singleton that was very much planned. I have 5 children from a previous marriage, 16ds, 14dd, 12ds, 10dd, and 7dd. We are farmers and live on a farm in upstate New York
Congrats everyone! I'm 31 and this is my first pregnancy. I'm 9w3d. EDD 2/9. Im so excited and nervous. I'm glad I found this place! You guys are awesome
Hi everyone! ! This baby will actually be my 6th. Ironically, in the beginning of May I called an ob to schedule a consultation for getting my tubes tied and was waiting for a call back which didn't come until a month later. ...June 5th to be exact, which was the day I got my BFP!!!! apparently God had other plans. Obviously I wasn't completely opposed to another baby, else I would have taken preventative measures. I was just getting into shape and liking the way I look and after 5 kids, was thinking of maybe keeping it that way. .... HA!!! So much for that idea...But, since I was active prior to conception, I've continued to stay active and have also continued to lose a few more pounds, but am not expecting that to continue at this point (9 weeks).... looking forward to another February baby. ..which in my opinion is the BEST time to be due, the pregnancy FLIES by with the end of the year and there's plenty of time to feel somewhat normal by summer. ... Oh yeah, EDD FEBRUARY 10, 2018
Hello! I am a FTM and I got a BFP on the 4th, so a week ago. I was 7 weeks on Sunday. It's funny we were TTC but I kept waiting for my period to come and we didn't believe I could be pregnant already so I didn't take a test until over 2 weeks had passed. It was a surprise since I didn't think it would happen so quickly, only the 2nd month of trying. I only hope I'm as lucky throughout the pregnancy and come out the other side with a healthy baby. EDD is Feb 25 or Feb 28. I think I'm going to post in the March 2018 group too just in case. I hear it's rare for babies to be actually on time. Anyway, so excited to be here with you guys! DH and I are so excited to become parents. We were married 09/2016 and will be 31 (him) and 32 (me) when the baby comes.
Sad but sweet side story: My cat that I've had for 21 years (since I was 11) died two days after my BFP! It's sad because I miss her and we were like life partners, but crazy that she stayed with me until this moment in my life! From when I was a child to when I'm having my own child. It's like she was waiting for the next generation to come in.
Hi! This is my fourth pregnancy (two ended in miscarriage) and I've never participated in a board with so many rules! I hope you all will be kind if I slip up My EDD is 2/17.
Oops! That looks pretty creepy!! As I was saying... I hope to find the courage to post more this time around we are having our second IVF baby after a long slog to get here. Our first is 15 months. I am 35 and also very high risk due to pre-eclampsia and haemmorhage last time around. I look forward to giving and receiving support from women on the same journey!
I'm finally joining. I was afraid to for awhile. I've suffered to MMC in the past year so I had to wait until I heard the heartbeat. By LMP I'm supposed to be 8 weeks but my ovulation date was later so I'm actually 7. Had first Dr appt yesterday and measured 7w1d, HB 150bpm. This is my second and my husbands first. My DD is 15. I'm 40 & my husband is 41 so we are quite literally starting over! Lol
Glad to be here finally and good luck to everyone!

Hello all! I am a first time mom and have just discovered this board! I'm due 2/18. We got our bfp on 6/12 following a 5 day frozen transfer (ivf). Looking forward to being a part of this community!
Why delete? An intro thread is standard and it's a pinned thread. I've read through & nothing bad in here that would necessitate the thread being deleted.

Hi! FTM, I'm 7w4d today and due 2/27! I found out I was pregnant exactly one week before our one year wedding anniversary and I was shocked! Baby is a bit ahead of our timeline that we had laid out for having kids, but I've fully accepted it now and am so excited! I have the privilege of being a sonographer and being able to check up on the little growing baby if I'm ever feeling anxious! Unfortunately, being in the ultrasound field also contributes to my anxiety because I just know TOO MUCH. For example, I know that right now I have 2 very small (1 cm each) subchorionic bleeds. Ive had no bleeding and if I were to see those same bleeds on any of my patients I would tell them not to sweat it and they'll resolve. But because it's me I'm a nervous wreck! Looking forward to this pregnancy journey with everyone here!!
Hey Everyone! I've been a bumpie for a long time but have a new account with my new email.
Anyway, this is my third baby, I have a 6yo boy and 4yo boy. I attempted a home birth with my second but ended up having a concealed placenta abruption and part way through labour was transferred to the hospital for an emergency cs. For this reason and my age (36) I'll be considered high risk but will continue with my midwife care and do shared care with the local high risk OB.
Oh and while this is my third it will be my first with my partner. I'm a recent divorcee and the pregnancy came as a bit of a shock but we are embracing it . He also has two kids so baby makes 5 for us.... oh sweet lord!!!! Haha.
Hi there, I waited till my first US (today) to introduce myself. I'm 33 and I will be a FTM. My husband, 33, and I live in San Francisco. We met on Caltrain when I was visiting from Switzerland 4 years ago and got married a year later. Poppy is measured about 8w4d today and will be due on my dads birthday next year. I'm exited to be on this journey with all of you.
Sad but sweet side story: My cat that I've had for 21 years (since I was 11) died two days after my BFP! @alice0218 I'm sorry about your kitty but love how you're looking at it. We had a sweet dog who went to that rainbow bridge just 2 days before I got my BFP. DH was like, I wish she was here at least through your pregnancy... It wasn't til he said that that I looked at the calendar and realized how late I was! God works in mysterious ways because we knew she wasn't good with kids -- I adopted her from a coworker who had her since she was a puppy but when they had a baby, the sounds and commotion of his newborn made her hide under the bed all day. We didn't want that for her with us, but it worked out. She was 12 and lived a very happy time with us, and God took her when it was time! Also, this is our first too!
