I'm letting DH pick the name if it's a boy, unless I absolutely hate it. I'll pick if it's a girl. DH like Dominic Xander. He's trying really hard to name the kid after Vin Diesel. For a girl I like Madeline, Clover or Paige. Thus far.
Me: 29 DH: 32 Married 9/27/2014 TTC Since 1/1/2017 BFP: 2/6/2017 Due Date: 10/13/17
If we have a boy, he'll be Houston Anthony, after my husband's Great Grandfather and Father.
Our girl name is up in the air a bit. DD1 is Madeline (Maddie) Sherry. On our short list is Winifred (Winnie) Molly, Molly Wren and maybe Molly Winifred.
We find out in about 2 weeks which type of name we'll need!
I think Cora for a girl. Boy we're still arguing. We still didn't have a boy name 100% picked out the last time I went into labor, it's a really good thing DD was a girl. He wants Austin for a boy and I want Evan.

I have a Madeline, so I'm partial to that one! I also really love Paige!
I really, really, really love Matilda for a girl and wanted to call her Tilly. But DH (and virtually every other person in my life) has vehemently opposed it.

Emma Claire for a girl. Boy we cannot agree. I like Maxwell, Vincent, Leo, Rowen or Ryder (to name a few). He is stuck on Sebastion (ugh). James will definitely be the middle name though. So yeah. For a boy name, we have no idea.
Charlotte Joy (Carly) or William Frederick III (Billy)<--- I wanted to call him Will, but I think DH hopes people will stop calling HIM Billy if his kid is Billy
Boy: Todd Joseph. H is totally set on this, i am open to Mark or John but i think i like Todd the best. Girl: Nora Hope. I love this name, but Nora is a little too popular for me so Victoria/Tori is on the table but i don't love it as i love Nora.
We've pretty much decided. The deal was my SO would pick if it's a boy and I'd pick if it's a girl. Today we found out its a boy so unless he changes his mind, we'll be welcoming little Max in October.

I love Nora, too, but yeah - I know approximately 293,291,188 Nora's currently under the age of 4. So that one's off the table.

Myelhsa I'd totally call her Maddie too Paige is actually DH stepdad's middle name. Never heard of that name on a man but it would be a nice way to use a family name. Molly is a super cute name.

Boy will likely be Leo Robert. Robert for my grandpa.
Girl is still WAAAAYYYY up in the air but I think I can convince DH of Willa, Piper, Regina nn Reggie, or Penelope nn Penny. We will seeeeeeeee.

I love , love, love the name Matilda. Don't worry so much what others think. With my first everybody hated the name I loved and eventually talked me out of it. DD is 3 years old and to this day I regret not naming her what I wanted.

Well, DH has to be in agreement and if the look on his face was any indication, it's not going to happen. Maybe when we get another dog one day I can finally use that glorious name

I'm Russian so I love Russian names DS is named Maksim and so I'd love to have another Russian name. DH is Indian so maybe we'll go with that name. I'll be ok with that too because Indian names are also beautiful.

Sabastion made it to my list of potential boy names because I like the nn Bash.
Sort of a FFFC, but I think boy names are so bland and generic compared to all the cute girl names out there. I'm having such a problem finding anything I like.
This is me and DH's problem when talking about names.
Haha so true! DH and I just talked about this yesterday while thinking of names and have a list of people we've known whose names are repulsive to us lol ...sadly these are mostly coworkers

@carries2018 I love your older daughters' names! Leah, Cara and Nora sound SUPER cute together
Honestly I wouldn't worry too incredibly much about a name's popularity if that's the one you love. I decided on my now two-year-old son's name more than a decade ago and had a minor third trimester freakout because his name is so popular now, haha. I'm immensely glad we named him Eli anyway and it fits him perfectly. Just my two cents! Tori is an adorable choice too
DD1 was so easy. We chose before we knew she was a girl. We didn't even look at boy names. We were convinced she was a girl. DD2 didn't have a name until I was 32 weeks! I told DH we will not be waiting that long again!
That said, we have no true ideas. He brought up Thierry ( Tee-Air-Ee) which he heard on one of his car shows. I don't like it as a first name but maybe a middle name. Problem is , I went to school with a girl with the last name Thierry (Theory) so it kind of turns me off a bit.
Short answer , nope. Not yet. And totally jealous of those who have set names!

aww thanks! i know i feel like Nora fits right in with the others. but has its own sound haha. i just dont really love any other name. i feel pretty sure we will go with Nora but i am having a hard time committing, but i guess i have 7 more months for that haha.
fffc we had our kid's names picked out by like the 5th date. we had such opposite taste in names i panicked and told him we couldn't continue on until we found names we both liked (i was semi joking, semi stage 5 clinger). so we agreed on 2 girl names (both used already) and 1 boy name, and about a year ago we picked out Nora.
Hubby and I haven't even discussed yet but I'm pretty good and getting my way haha..for a girl I LOVE Tenley. Middle name would be nicole, Claire or Kate. DD is Ainsley Jane so I just love how they go together. Boys names suck for me. I have loved Jack/Jackson for years but I know approximately 4697778 Jack's so def not happening. I don't mind Henry and Blake but we'll see.

Blake is one of the few that DH and I have tentatively agreed on. It's a contender because I'm just not a fan of his pick and he's not a fan of mine so we might have to meet somewhere in the middle.

Boy: definitely not sure. I love Dawson Jacob (but do not want nn DJ!!), DH isnt in love. He's only mentioned Ezra. I love so many names that end in -er (Thatcher, Asher, Tucker), but our last name also ends in -er so they don't sound right lol. Only name DH has mentioned is Ezra. I don't love it or hate it.
For girl names we like Olivia, Abigail, and Violet. I'm having a hard time finding another boy name that I like. DS1 is Maxwell and DS2 is Nicholas. DH likes Lewis, I'm not a fan. But we literally have no other names on the table for a boy.
We're in the beginning stages of this discussion and have some ideas floating around.
For a girl, we like: June, Maren, or Reese. There's also a possibility of Elizabeth. My favorite is June, but H isn't sold.
For a boy, we like: Noel (though I hesitate b/c we'll be correcting pronunciation for his entire life, I'm sure), maybe Amos, maybe Otto, maybe Cash, maybe none of these - ha!
I love 99.99% of the aforementioned names Oct 17 is going to have some well-named babies
I've had my girls name picked out since I was 16- Elena Catherine. My grandma's first name + my middle name is Elaine, and my mother's name is Cathy. Family love.
For a boy, I think DH and I have agreed on Liam Ryan. DH is part Irish and we like the idea of an Irish name. It's popular but we will deal. Ryan is DH's name and his family has a tradition of giving the boys the father's name as a middle name.
Well, DH and I haven't talked yet (I told him I don't want to until we know the sex), but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a note going on my phone with names I like...and I've had this note going for the last year or so
All that being said, me, DH and DD are all J names. Yeah yeah, I know I know. It's a little corny but we've talked about doing this since we were dating. Trust me, I've heard all the dugger references. Keep your comments to yourself lol and at this point it would be a little weird to pick a different letter for this kid (but my weird sense of humor also would find it a little funny). But we won't go there. So my top 3 are:
Girl Joelle Josephine (or just Josie) - this was our other option for DD but I just don't seem to like it as much now. We will see. Jocelyn - I love it but DH vetoed it the first time around. I'm still going to push for it if this is a girl.
Boy Jacob Jameson Jasper (we have had said Jaden on our list since like 2008 but I don't think I can do it now)
@bluejeanbabi05 i love the father's name as a middle name thing. thats what we plan to do! also i am so in love with Catherine. it was on my list but we have so many "Ka" names in my family we can't do any more.
