@Starfish113 We're doing a similar type theme and I'm seriously in love with your white cube drawer furniture piece with the navy blue and pink and white chevron baskets. Where did you get it?!

Target!!! The cube thing was on sale for like $32
I saw something similar at our target but with only the navy cubes Damn! I'll have to check the other Target in town, but I need something to set little baby's sound machine on. When I tried checking online I had a hell of time trying to find the stuff I was looking for.

Aww bummer! I've bought a lot of cubes for the other kids rooms from Amazon! They're cheaper there too.

I may have to check that out! I just loved how small it was yet it gave something to set things on. Only problem is that room is WAY smaller than I originally anticipated. We have a glider & the crib and it looks pretty filled out already! I might have to find a different spot for her swing (which is a smaller sized swing) and then I could probably fit that in there. Decisions decisions..

I don't know if you have Ikea near you but they sell a similar piece and make it in varying sizes called the Kallax. I have the 2x2 boxes and the 4x2 boxes in my den and SIL has the 4x4. They come in a bunch of colors and then I just bought fabric bins that fit from Target.
@BlondePeanut are you done? You look done, and I'm jealous. My most recent update was dropping a jar on the glass top to the dresser and breaking the ever-living heck out of it. I was really looking forward to changing diapers on a glass surface that could be bleached mercilessly, lol.
@Lafreeman21 - I'm pretty much done. I haven't had my shower yet, so I will have to set up the swing and items I get from that, set up my chair in the corner, and disinfect bottles. I was crazy nesting so I got everything done before I hit the last trimester, and I am so glad I did b/c boy I am getting limited now.
Dresser should be delivered soon and then I'll post pictures of the somewhat finished room. That said, we have a couple things that have an "M" initial (a hook and one picture) and I can't hang those until baby is born because my mom is a total crazy person about guessing the name (like she will literally name every single name starting with an M until she gets it).
Our rocking recliner was delivered today and I'm so excited. DH has started patching the walls in the nursery and we're hoping to get started painting this weekend. Also, we stopped at a local art center holiday sale today and found these adorable prints... Just need to get some matching frames and we'll have some art to hang. Feeling like baby might actually have a nice place of his/her own soon.
We made so much progress this weekend... But, the fear that not all the furniture is going to fit in our nursery is becoming more real. We may have to put the dresser/changing table under the window, which I'm not super happy about.
But, here are the painted walls and our dresser (that we put together last night). Oh, yeah, and the rocking recliner that's the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in.
@srscott3 - La-Z Boy. It's a rocker with power recline. We went over Veteran's Day weekend and got a great deal (I think they run sales all the time though).
We still need a glider, some curtains, and something for the walls but otherwise we're pretty set! The walls are kind of a mint green but in some light they look blue like in the pics.
So... I really don't have much of a nursery, per se, as this room still doubles as H and I's "war room" until I can clear out space elsewhere for our gaming desktops. But this is the catch-all corner for when baby is spending time in there with us. Her actual crib is in the master bedroom (and will likely stay there at least a year), along with some small essentials--diaper changing stuff, etc. Strollers and carseats are in the storage room for now.
Well, it's been a long time coming but we're mostly finished. Everything is pretty much good to go minus a spot to paint behind the door and painting the windows then we're done!
I can finally say we have the nursery mostly done!!! Still need to put a few more things away/declutter and finish some decorations. And of course, move all the stuffed animals out of baby's crib once he's ready to go in there!!
@Gretchypoo and @homemake those are all of his 0-6 month clothes. I became super OCD about it lol We have a bunch of clothes through 9 months and then we're screwed! Haha I found a ton on Buy/Sell/Trade sites that I was able to go through and pick out bags of things and got more from our baby shower. In total I've spent $85 on all clothes, blankets, burp rags, etc! Meanwhile he's projected to be over 9 pounds and most likely will fly through all of these clothes in a few short months!
I hope this isn't huge, sorry if it is. Previous closet now nursery/guest/grandma room. All the main pieces are in, now to add some color via baby bedding and decor items. Pretty happy with it all so far.
Not done yet as my sil is making me a changing pad cover and sheets. And I am doing a couple more crafty projects for the other side of the room. Still need to finish painting the mirror frame, and buy curtains. But it's starting to come together and I wanted to share! Our furniture doesn't match. But oh well, got to work with what we have. Eventually I think I'll refinish the dresser. Just not right now.
If anyone wants to feel really good about where they are with nursery progress... We just painted last night.. And ran out of paint. Its a beautiful color, this pic doesn't do it justice. Sheer Green by Valspar.
