@peachy13 Congratulations! I retested this morning (13dpo) both with FRER and Clearblue Digital, both BFPS!!! FRER was a little darker compared to the other days, but it's there! Super exciting for us!!
I had bloodwork done yesterday to test my levels and confirm whether or not I'm pregnant. Just got the call, and my levels were at 5.8, which anything under 5 is negative. Since I'm borderline, I'm going back in on Monday to see if it's rising or lowering. Praying it's just early
To those using digitals: It takes more HCG to get them to read a positive than to get a squinter on a 'regular' test. I had squinters at about 10 DPO and it wasn't until about 14 DPO that I turned a digital. Even though you're not really supposed to, I took the digital from 12 DPO apart and the second line was pretty dark, just not dark enough.
@hwknight Best wishes that it's just early and you get good news on Monday.

I wasted soooo many test my first cycle it was insane so I vowed that for the next one I wouldn't test until I was late. If I was late. Well that didn't happen. I didn't suspect that I was pregnant but I was having a halloween party and wanted to be safe and know if I could or couldn't drink. BFP! I was shocked and very excited of course!
I used my last First Response for that one and the line was pretty darn clear after waiting the allotted time. I was probably 13DPO by that time (2 days before AF was to arrive) To make sure, I tested again (twice actually haha!) with the strips from my Easy @ Home kit which was a combined ovulation strips and pregnancy test strips. Both positives there as well.
I don't have a pic but I do still have that first test hanging around in my bathroom lol!
I need some input. I know you should never read a test out of the time frame... but is it possible to have 4 evap lines? They are in order. 3rd was with fmu.
The first was a year old expired test. Another no no. But that one showed up faintly in less than 10 minutes and got darker. Plan to test with fmu tomorrow. Period was due today ish. Not sure how many dpo I am. Wasn't charting or trying.
1. I wouldn't use or trust an expired test. It can give false positives / false negatives and it's not reliable. The others are a bit hard to tell for 100% sure (imo) so I would retest in the morning (with a NON-EXPIRED test) with your fmu and go with that result. If it's negative either wait for AF to show or test again a couple days later.

Thanks. Took one yesterday and it was negative. Took amother today and it was a faint positive. I think I'm going to have to break down and buy an expensive test instead of the cheapies.
I knew mine was positive right away! I always bought the cheap $1 tests from the dollar tree. I took that first and it was immediately 2 lines. I was beyond shocked so I then bought the clearblue tests with the lines and one digital with the weeks estimator and they all came back super pregnant!
This is mine from 12DPO. Period would normally be expected right around then. My husband couldn't believe such a faint line counted as a positive! It was confirmed the next day via blood test - HCG levels about 50.
Hi all, Okay, I am going crazy and any feedback would be appreciated I took a HPT on Thursday and Friday and got faint lines on both. My 1st beta was Friday and it was positive!! Soooo maybe a logical person would be over the moon!! And of course I was, BUT then I thought it would be a good idea to buy more HPTs to see if the line would get darker. Well, it was a different brand ($7.00 two pack family dollar early pregnancy blue dye one) and I took one yesterday and one today. Both came back either negative or VERY faint (like hold up to the light and squint faint.) Of course I am only 4 weeks and I read that some people don't register on the HPTs yet, but because I had the two before my beta that were faint, but definitely darker than the recent ones, I am going nuts. I know they were also different brands. I think I need to put down the tests and wait until my second beta on Monday. What do you think? Thanks!!!

Anyone have experience with equate brand of pregnancy tests? I took one this morn and stepped away for what was supposed to be a few mins (watched it go across and was not positive right away). well got caught up doing something and went back to check after about 30mins. very faint line but not sure if it happened after the 10mins (urines not dry yet so don't think it's an evap line?). I'm not 100% sure what dpo I am (I believe I o'd between Nov 26-30). I had a mc oct 12 and then had a d&c Nov 4 (with no af yet). Dtd unprotected (spur of the moment) twice during this time. I know kind of silly since we should have used alternative contraceptive for 1 cycle then start to try again (and that was intention) but after almost 9 weeks of nothing, we couldnt help ourselves after realizing we had no alternative contraceptives available at the moment. (sorry if tmi). any experience from you ladies with this brand of tests would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!!
Both taken yesterday, two days after my missed period. I was spotting for three days before, so I was positive I was out (cried all night Sunday) But my Temps were still in the 98 range, so I took a gamble and tested. DH and I are over the moon for our first baby!
I don't know that I can post this as a question here, but I used a pregnancy test just from a gas station, and took it with FMU, as my period was supposed to come today. I didnt notice any lines at all in the result window, but hours later, maybe 4-5, I couldnt resist and looked again, and this is how it looks. Is this a positive result? I've been having some symptoms, my boobs are insanely sore, and i've been crampy, as well as constipated and bloated, nauseous, etc.
Top is a $ tree taken with fmu, I saw something super faint. Bottom is CB taken this afternoon after waiting for 4hrs. I took a digital and it was negative. I took another test this morning (DH threw it away and I think we saw a line). I went in for a beta this afternoon and won't know results til tomorrow.
Just got my first BFP today!! After 6 years of trying, we got our BFP after our first round of IUI!! I'm still having a hard time believing this! I'm in shock!

I used a dollar store test it came out positive in less then a minute I was 3 going on 4 weeks. I went to the doctors a week later and they confirmed the news.
I tested on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and had faint positives each time. On Monday, I had light bleeding, Tuesday moderate bleeding and Wednesday spotting. I tested again this morning and this was the resulting - I can see a faint faint faint line but the only other person I showed it to said no dice.
I don't want to yo-yo my husband around so I haven't asked his opinion. What do you all think?
I bought generic pregnant test strips at a cheap bulk price on Amazon to last a while. I don't regret getting the cheap kind. It shows one line when not pregnant and two when you are. If there's no line or one line in the test (pregnant) area, then the test is invalid.
I used the $0.88 test at Wal-Mart. I had a picture but I cannot find it. The 1st test was very faint. The 2nd test was a bit darker. The 3rd test was very dark and positive! I am now 7w4d. I am excited for my first ultrasound on the 27th!!
So I hope you all are more helpful. LOL. I didn't know there was only a thread to post tests on so I just posted and got quite hateful replies. All other forums im on you just post. I took this Walmart brand test and saw a faint squinter almost immediately. So I tweaked it. Is there a line or am I just wanting to see one?

We weren't hateful, we were honest and pointed out that you had violated the board rules that are pinned at the top and quite obvious. What other forums allow you to do is moot because we're not "all other forums." We believe in science, not glitter farts.
It's negative.
And if you're allowed to do whatever you want on other forums, why not post there and get the "OMG you're totes preggers squeee!" response you want?

@Dancecreationgrl It's negative. Even in the manipulated picture, I don't see anything. If your period doesn't show up, test again in a week with first morning's urine, and use a pink dye test- I recommend First Response- as they're more reliable than blue dye ones.
My first BFP - ept digital test from tonight, one day after I expected to start my period. I took a FRER about 5 days ago and I thought I could see a faint 2nd line but convinced myself it was wishful thinking (it probably really was at the time - it looked negative the more I stared at it).
Hi ladies! I bought a FRER test after I started spotting yesterday at about 12dpo or 6 days until my period...hopeful that the spotting was implantation. Overnight the spotting turned red and is like a light period so I didn't take the test with fmu assuming this is not my month. My husband convinced me to take the test in the afternoon anyways just to see. So this test was from today at the 3 min mark...five days before my missed period. Do you see the line? I see "something" but I feel like it looks too close to the other line. So maybe it's a false positive or an indent line? Or maybe it's wishful thinking/seeing
