@LeFemmeViolette Where are you getting decaf iced coffee's? We only have like burger king or McDonald's to stop at here. We do have 1 coffee shop that I could get a decaf from but then it would be like $4 and then I would also need a breakfast crape so like a $9 bill lol I have decaf brewing here at work right now so I can get my fix. I usually put it in the fridge so later I can have an iced coffee again lol.
You're only at 5dp so don't get your hopes up. I'm dying for Monday to be a good day for us all.

  • @thucks if at starbucks, I get a decaf iced americano. If at Dunkin, they have regular decaf iced coffee.

  • I miss my regular coffee so much you guys!!! I've been getting decaf since transfer and it totally isn't the same. I think if I find out I'm pregnant I'll start getting half caf though.

Is anyone else here in the same boat as me and never been pregnant before? No other kids, never had a CP, nothin. I'm feeling like it isn't even possible for my clinic to actually tell me I'm pregnant on Monday, because, well, it hasn't ever happened before. I guess I'm having a hopeless morning

Oh and also, a friend of mine who announced her engagement 2 weeks ago, announced her pregnancy this morning. She probably blinked and became pregnant. Good times. I'm not feeling very happy for her, as awful as that sounds.

  • Best of luck today to  @Worldtravler0522 and @Tusername on their transfers!

I tested again this morning and it was a stark white negative. I'm pretty sure my mind wanted me to see something on the other ones. So preparing myself for bad news tomorrow.
  • @wifeinraleigh28 don't give up hope! I'm feeling down this morning as well and keep thinking there is no way this worked and feel like I could burst into tears at any moment. I had two CPs with IUI #2 and #3 so I know it CAN happen but then with my first FET, just plain old negative. At this point I'm terrified that it's going to be another negative or another CP. I'm also really scared/nervous that everyone else on the 26th will have positive betas and mine will be the only negative.

Thankfully I've never been a coffee drinker so not being able to have any hasn't really impacted me. Sometimes I am jealous of those of you that drink it but I just can't stand the taste (or smell)!

@worldtravler0522 I feel like I have pregnancy ESP, I usually know someone is going to announce before they do - either on facebook, in person, or even on the news. My DH thinks I'm crazy but one of our local newscasters just announced she was preggers (just got married over the summer) and I've been telling him for about 2 weeks that I swore she was knocked up when we had that station on. Still doesn't make it any easier though to digest news of hearing anyone is pregnant and makes me a little bit bitter that these ppl get to "hide" this great news until they decide to make the announcement. Hopefully one day that will be all of us.

  • @wifeinraleigh28 I hope I don't offend or bother you if I mention my previous pregnancy. (I try not to if possible) Some times for me its a realization that this can work for people cause it has before but sometimes I get frustrated with myself that it's not happening again. It took 3 iui's and 2 IVF rounds to get what I have. Keep your head up it can be done.
Also no judgement here. I still feel the same way about others who get knocked up so easy. It's hard and unless they are going through IVF no matter what they say they don't understand the struggle.
@mtpbadger Don't think about being the only negative on Monday I'm pretty sure I'll be one.

  • @APM_SLP and @mjacks16 I'm hoping you both will be pleasantly surprised when you hear your beta numbers tomorrow.  I've seen it happen on these boards before (negative HPTs morning of beta and then it comes back positive).  Holding out hope for both of you!

@mtpbadger and @thucks You are not alone in thinking you'll be the only negative on Monday, because I am scared of that too.  I hope we all get positives, what a wonderful day that would be.  But even if I am negative I will still hope that everyone else gets a positive.  The only thing worse than getting a negative would be if all of us got negatives.

@thucks It doesn't bother me one bit when you mention your previous pregnancy.  I just sometimes feel like I'm the only one here who has never had a positive pregnancy test of any kind.  But I guess everyone has been in my boat at some point.

  • Just a laugh for the day. My daughter carries around a boy cabbage patch doll (I'm obsessed so those are really the only dolls they have) My husband named it Lucas. That name has really kinda stuck. Him and his best friend decided the other night that we will have a boy and name him Lucas. He doesn't want to tell anyone. For the birth and name announcement he wants to take a pic at the hospital with the girls dressed as ewalks and his friend and kids dressed as storm troopers and him have a darth vader mask on with his scrubs and the caption can say "Luke I am your Father". So if you see a starwars theme announcement go viral that's my husband.

  • @APM_SLP I was listening to the "Beat Infertility" podcast and they were talking about PGS testing. I want to say that it was mentioned that PGS testing doesn't necessarily increase the chance of a pregnancy, but it does significantly reduce the chance of a miscarriage occurring if the embryo implants. Not sure if that helps or not - I'll try and see if I can find the podcast episode if you want. My FX are still crossed for you that you get positive news though!
  • @worldtravler0522 glad the transfer went well! It is so cool watching the whole thing, isn't it? Get some good relaxing in the rest of the day, you're officially PUPO! :)

*****Trigger Warning, Loss and Pregnancy Mentioned*****

Married my best friend in 2013 (I was 33), After 1.5yrs of TTC got my first BFP naturally on 2/7/15 but ended in DNC on 4/14/15, not viable. In 2015 I was 35...Found out I had only one working ovary, which was DOR, with scar tissue and I ovulated at 7 days, with a small cervix opening and a tilted uterus... Needing an RE was a must.....IUI#1 Sept 2015,,, BFN IUI#2 Oct 2015,,,BFN IUI#3 Dec 2015,,BFN IVF#1 2/1/16- BFN IVF# on 3/29/16 retrieval only - 1 healthy chromosome tested embryo. IVF#3 retrieval 4/23/16- 0 healthy embryos. IVF#4 retrieval 6/17/16- 1 healthy embryo. EDD 5/25/2017 Had a healthy baby girl via CSection on 5/18/17 8lbs 15oz. Then four months later got pregnant naturally and had a healthy baby boy on 6/13/18 7lbs 6oz (at age 38). Needless to say, anything is possible! I'm keeping my signature open so it gives someone out there hope that anything is possible. Message me if you ever have any questions or just need someone to talk to. DON'T GIVE UP!

  • @LSatturo126 Mine looked a bit more like yours, its back on page 12 of this thread. Maybe its the zoom or that it's already hatching?
  • edited September 2016
@LSatturo126 Love your photos too!  Mine is back on page 15 if you want to compare but I think these embies just look different at different stages of expanding/hatching!  We also did assisted hatching.  I don't think the difference comes from PGS testing though, seeing how mine is also PGS tested but looks a bit different!

  • @worltravler0522 I’m so happy we are finally in the TWW! I thought it was really cool to watch too :) Love, Love that little emmie!
@C-k That’s great news! I tested at my last FET and got bfp 5dp5dfet, so it def can happen! congrats!

Also, for those getting bfn..don’t give up yet- blood tests are more accurate and many ladies on these boards didn’t see positives until their beta.

@wifeinraleigh28 Sometimes it’s just hard to feel positive for ourselves when there have been many disappointments. I am rooting for you and have a very good feeling things will work out for you!

Thanks so much for all the good lucks! I was feeling nervous and it was a great feeling knowing so many people were thinking about me!

We transferred one emmie today and the transfer went very smoothly. DH was able to look at the embryo under the microscope right before the transfer. That was neat :). My beta will be Saturday Oct 1.

  • Here's my little one :-).
My RE explained that in this picture the embryo looks collapsed because it was just thawed. By the time it was driven to my facility it had already re-expanded and looked more like a soccer ball. So- the time/stage at which the photo was taken probably makes a big difference of how the emmies look.

  • @tusername glad to hear the transfer went well! That's so cool that your DH got to look at the embie under the microscope! Welcome to the TWW!

Anyone else feeling extra thirsty lately? The past few days I can't seem to get enough water during the day (I've been drinking about 70-80oz the past 2-3 days and am still thirsty!)
  • I've been kinda of having a negative day today. Suddenly I just don't feel like this FET worked. Maybe because I've never ever gotten a BFP... it just seems like such a magicaly impossible thing. And the fact that we just wound up with only one good embryo after all the preparation we did is scary.

If this FET doesn't work I'll be switching over to my insurance from DH's so we can start another cycle. But that of course depends on when open enrollment is, so I'll have to wait until that time... which I'm sure will drive me insane.

I'm also scared that when we do another cycle we end up with NONE.

    Ugh. Damn you, IF...

  • @lefemmeviolette hang in there! It seems like today has been a tough day for a few people. Remember, it only takes one!

Fx that this cycle has a good outcome but if not, that you won't have to wait too long for open enrollment.
  • Wow 40 messages!  Congrats to todays transfers! Hope you all have very sticky Embies!

For those of you testing, worried about the tests, etc.  I keep remembering the nurse who took my blood saying "the truth is in the serum".  I just hate to think of any of you worrying over the lines.  I wish only the very best for you all!

@wifeinraleigh28  I think everyone probably feels alone sometimes in this. I know I think I am the only "old" person.  And I wish I hadn't read that getting pregnant once 8 years ago actually means squat for me now.  I always thought that gave me some kind of edge, but nope. I really am so happy this board is here, because when I really feel alone in this I come here and feel much better!

Happy days to everyone wherever you are in our cycle this month!

  • Good luck today @mjacks16 and @APM_SLP! Hoping for good news for both of you!

Just a few more days for a bunch of us - how's everyone doing?

  • Thinking of you today @mjacks16 and @APM_SLP!!!  And also thinking of @FatPony, you get your second beta results today, right?  FX for you all to get happy phone calls later.

I got a really good night's sleep last night and I'm feeling a little better today.  I'm still feeling doubtful that this FET is a success, but DH and I had a good talk this morning about what our next steps will be if it didn't work.  That has brought me a little bit of peace, but still, if this doesn't work I worry about how much I can actually take and how long we will be able to do this for.  Those of you on your 2nd or 3rd cycles are so incredibly strong!

As hard as it is to keep going and to keep doing more cycles, giving up would be even harder.

Needless to say, anything is possible! I'm keeping my signature open so it gives someone out there hope that anything is possible. Message me if you ever have any questions or just need someone to talk to. DON'T GIVE UP!

  • Blood is at the clinic, now we wait.  I did not test again this morning, so we will see.  I'm not holding out too much hope for a positive. I should know this afternoon.

Thanks for thinking of me ladies!
  • @wifeinraleigh28 I'm feeling the same way, thinking that this cycle is a bust. Hopefully we are both pleasantly surprised on Monday! Only 4 more sleeps until beta day!

Beta is all done.  I didn't test this morning either- I ran out of tests and decided it wasn't worth it to get more just for beta day.  I'm in California and my clinic doesn't call until "sometime after 2pm," so it will be a long day! Thanks for all the well wishes!

  • Yep, it was confirmed - negative.  :(  Scheduled a phone consult with my RE for next week to discuss steps as we are out of frozen embabies. I'd image we take a few months off and work on my egg quality before the next round. My highest quality was only rated BB, so I'm thinking that is part of the problem. After my mc last time, my RE suggested I don't even do PGS testing if we had to do another round.

Hoping some better news will come to this thread soon!!
