Slightly bloated but then I had Thai food around 7pm lol. It's so weird how the mind works I guess. Now I'm feeling cramps again and soreness. I honestly don't know if it's all in my head. I feel anxious and excited for news on Monday but what happens if it declines? Then I'm like I don't wanna know cuz I like the idea of still being pregnant. I swear when the nurse called today (she's not my regular this one is the weekend one) well honest to God I was so ready for her to say my levels are like at 2, and to stop all medication. Instead she's like its 60.5 where we wanted it to be so come back Monday for one more beta, dr wants to make sure it doubles again and if it does your nurse will call Monday to schedule US. I was like "wtf did she just say? 60.5? Huh?" Then got off the phone like any other day and had to act cool cuz my SIL was with me taking the sun while my hubby was over doing work. Walked over to him while no one was looking with a big smile on my face and that's when he teared up and we hugged. Then I went for a swim cuz I'm I was still in shock and needed to cool down lol. Now I'm in bed at 10pm and I'm ready to pass out lol night all xoxo

I read your news earlier but couldn't post until now..

That's so awesome! So happy for you!!

AFM, I was quite a sloth today. I think I took like, 2 1/2 naps. I know I've been tired since starting the estrace, but today felt even more tired. Hoping that's a good sign. Though, realistically, probably too early for "signs."

A friend from my hometown visited today and we talked about her big upcoming plans- to go forward with a sperm donor and get pregnant on her own. There's a lot of similarities between our two processes, so I was able to give her some insight as to what to expect. I think my going through all these IF treatments has given her a little confidence to start her own path to motherhood.

Just a small example of how our experiences may help others down the road.

  • So happy for the good news today!

Sorry I didn't get to the beach to post some positive beach vibes...right as we were heading out the door we heard the seafood fest was cancelled.  There was a small explosion at a race in a neighboring town so they cancelled the fest as a precaution and were closing roads all over the place.  So sad. We will be out next weekend hopefully so pics to come!

  • @rmarble23 Good luck in October!

I've decided that the only way to get through this TWW is to distract myself as much as possible.  I'm going crazy.  Sometimes I think "of course it worked, it works for so many" and then other times I think "it probably didn't work because it doesn't always work and in fact it might never work."  My mind is just all over the place, and I know the rest of you can probably relate!

  • @LSatturo126 Just saw your update, that is fantastic! Hope your numbers continue to rise.

I'm just trying to keep busy to distract myself while waiting. Decided to teach myself brush lettering.

  • @fatpony I am starting to go crazy and still have a week left! I can't believe you have to wait a day to find out your results! Are you feeling any symptoms?
  • Good luck tomorrow @fatpony! @wifeinraleigh28. I think yours has to work! From what I can tell PGS tested are normally a slam dunk.  I hit the negative for this little group so yours has to be a winner :) fingers crossed for you!

Huge headache today and yesterday.  Guessing my thyroid is ticked not having all the meds! The period after a failed transfer is unreal.  Start bcp again tomorrow and back on board the roller coaster!

@mtpbadger - lots of symptoms. Boobs sore, on and off mild nausea, trouble pooping already (sorry if tmi, but I'm usually a good pooper!). My symptoms didn't start until after my beta for my successful pregnancy, so I'm not sure what to think. JITTERS JITTERS!

Do you have any symptoms Badger?
  • Some cramping on and off, boobs are starting to get sore (I think, it might just be wishful thinking). I'm trying not to read too much into anything yet as I still have over a week till beta and don't plan on testing early. If any of the symptoms are still around next Sunday then I'll start really paying attention.
  • @FatPony you don't get results same day?? Torture!

    @mtpbadger - that's a good plan.

Sorry for the spam lately, I've been needing a distraction
  • Good luck for everyone who has a beta coming up... Mine is still a week away and I'm in a rut. I have some cramping but I think this is what I always have before AF starts. I just feel really flat...

@fatpony I agree with everyone, a one day wait is torture!

I had some cramps early on but no symptoms at this point.  Tomorrow will make 6dp5dt for me.  I might start testing tomorrow or Tuesday.  Last time, with my CP, I had a very faint positive 5dp5dt.  Wish I was in a positive mindset, but I'm just not.

Question for all: I have heard of some people getting AF before beta.  But I was under the impression that the progesterone keeps AF at bay until it is completely stopped?

@Tusername feeling pretty good!  I feel like the PIO has made me a little irritable but otherwise I've been fine. I've been warming the oil but putting it in my bra haha and it seems to help.  How are you feeling?  Are you taking just the day of off or Thursday too?

  • @apm_slp I don't get my period so I've never gotten it while on progesterone, only after I've stopped. Sorry that doesn't help. One more week for us! Last week wasn't too bad for me especially since I knew I wouldn't have any symptoms that early. This week is going to be tough!

And I have no internet at work right now. This is going to be fun since I can't even keep busy now! Happy Monday everyone!
  • Going crazy here in the TWW also. Almost tested this morning, but stopped myself, will probably do so tomorrow. I'm not feeling very positive about it, boobs are not really sore and I don't have any other symptoms, but we shall see.

I tested this morning, bfn.  I know it's early but...
Will test again tmrw or Wednesday.

I researched the whole prog and AF situation.  It seems like most people should NOT get AF if they are on PIO.  Some people get AF if they are only on suppositories due to them usually being a lower dose.   From what I understand, the lower your progesterone levels the more likely AF will start prior to stopping meds.  Ps This is info is strictly from google research!

Yes, me!!!  Crazy doesn't even begin to describe it.  I absolutely hate waiting for everything but ESPECIALLY this.  I know you are so nervous (I will be too), but I have such a good feeling about you!!

@bells52000 THANK YOU for saying that.  At least that will help get me through a little bit longer without completely losing my mind!  I'm so glad you are back at it soon.  The next one HAS to work!!  Are you looking at an October FET?

@APM_SLP When I was on progesterone suppositories for my IUIs I still got AF at 13dpiui all 3 times.  I don't think progesterone always stops AF from coming but it can.  I think more so the estrace will stop AF from coming since it keeps your ovaries from cycling.  But I do not know for sure!  Only 3 more days to go for you... I have a good feeling about you too!

@mjacks16 Getting close!  Don't worry about your lack of symptoms.  It really could mean absolutely nothing and not everyone gets symptoms until much later.  FX for you!!!

Yes, you two are up next @Worldtravler0522 and @Tusername!!  FX for smooth and successful transfers coming up!

@fmitchell Have you gotten an FET date yet?

AFM, I'm trying not to symptom spot but it's hard.  I'm only 3dp5dt so I keep thinking about how today and tomorrow are implantation days according to my little chart.  I've been feeling a little extra crampy and tired today.  I've been trying to "take it easy" but man, that shit's hard!  Living my life doesn't allow for me to just take it easy constantly.  I had chores to do today.  I hope that carrying my heavy laundry basket or putting away some heavy stainless steel pots and pans from yesterday's dinner didn't somehow dislodge my embryo.  There is only so much I can do!  This next week can't go by fast enough.

  • @APM_SLP It is definitely still too early!  At 6dp5dt your body would only just barely be starting to produce HCG and it can take up until 9dp5dt to show on a HPT.

  • @wifeinraleigh28 She didn't say why they think it's happening. And without PGS testing I doubt they would know. Hard to be optimistic though. She made sure that she made the point that this doesn't mean that the one they put in would be bad too. I just don't get why they can't defrost much earlier like the day before so they would know if a healthy one is going in.

I'm exhausted!! I feel like I slept my weekend away. There was probably like 2 hrs yesterday where my house could have burned down and I would have never known. I did not want to get out of be the DH was getting so annoyed that I was hitting the snooze button so much. I feel like I could breast feed again to my boobs are so swollen and hurt....... @wifeinraleigh28 last time my CP showed up on 5dpt and today is 6dp5dt.  My RE said my embryo would implant either the same day they transferred it or the following day, based on it's hatching status… At least that's what she told me! I am definitely not counting myself out, but I don't think it's necessarily  too early to start  testing since my low levels had already shown on a HPT by this time last round. Still crossing my fingers!

@LSatturo126 congrats! That is wonderful news!

  • Just had a panic moment! My nurse had to call in another prescription for the patches for me b/c I can't refill the first order until 09/26 on my own. She called it in last Thursday afternoon and I know it can take a few days for them to order them, so I've been checking my pharmacy's website. I need the patches for Wednesday morning so wasn't too stressed. Well, I'm glad I called just to make sure they would be ready to pick up tomorrow - they hadn't even ordered them yet and didn't have any in stock! You think someone would have called me to let me know! They then said they needed clarification from my dr - I asked to stay on hold and was on the phone and could hear the pharmacist in the background on the phone with my RE giving them an earful! They said the patches would be ready to be picked up tomorrow after 3pm, that better be the case!

@mtpbadger I've had issues like that with insurance. During one of my IUIs I think I spent about 2 hours on the phone one day making sure I had everything I needed.

I also later ran into an issue w/ birth control when we were prepping for my stimming and egg retrieval. I had to explain to a male pharmacist that I did not want to take the last row of BC pills because that will make my period come and I didn't want that. That meant I then needed a new pack a week sooner, but they wouldn't allow it to be filled until 4 weeks rather than the 3 I was asking for. Ugh.
