@fatpony if you can wait a few weeks, I'll be in Virginia Beach over Columbus Day weekend and will try and take some pics to post! I don't think there will be much sea glass to find though, I've never seen any at the beaches down this way.
Ladies, I'm having a tough time. My anxiety is through the roof and seems to be escalating the closer we get to beta day. I really don't know if it would just be better to POAS and risk disappointment or deal with this amount of anxiety. I had such a hard time sleeping last night. Yesterday I had the worst headache of my life (though I don't know if that was anxiety related). I just don't know what to do. Who's to say that POAS would even help my anxiety or not? But it could?

@wifeinraleigh28 I'm sorry you're having such a tough time with the wait! I've been trying EFT (it's also called the tapping method) which is super easy and it kind of helps me acknowledge my anxious thoughts but then move on. Might be worth a try, there are a lot of YouTube videos on how to do it. Laying in bed this morning I got super anxious thinking about listening to the voicemail on Monday and almost think I might have DH go into another room and listen to it first and then tell me. Not sure if that will help any or not. I'll do anything at this point to NOT hear bad news and prolong possible bad news.
ive been tempted to POAS but then think to myself "if it's negative, will I believe it or will I feel the need to keep testing" and my answer is I will prob need to keep testing to see if it changes and I don't want to go down that road so I've held off so. These two weeks have been pure hell though!
Hoping we can all stay busy and distracted this weekend as well as on Monday!
I did it for peace of mind and I rather get disappointed before they call and I didn't want to have a breakdown at work if I got the call and it was bad. Which basically happened a little when they said my numbers were so low. It's up to you girls. Best of luck Monday for the five of you!!

Sorry @wifeinraleigh28 . The wait is excruciating. I was really lucky my beta was on a saturday. I just had to get through the workweek and it was right there. Honestly if I had to sit through a weekend, I probably would have poas unless something big was going on that weekend. Maybe you can take a road trip somewhere, hit the zoo, anything to just get out of the norm? Good luck - whatever you decide to do!!
Thank you all for the suggestions! Physically, I just feel tired. But I also haven't been sleeping well. I do feel occasional cramping though, whatever that means.
Today we've been running a lot of errands so that has been distracting. I think I'm going to go shoe shopping on Monday after my beta to distract me while I wait for the call. I need boots!

@LSatturo126 I’m happy everything looks great so far!
@wifeinraleigh28 I think if there’s a chance POAS could help, then go ahead. Just remind yourself that if it’s negative, there’s still a chance the blood could say differently. Shoe shopping works wonders!
I tried to convince DH this morning that I should POAS today but he won't let me. He adamantly thinks it's a bad idea and won't budge! At least it's out of my hands now and I don't have to think about testing every time I have to pee!
@elyse1384 yay for transferring on Monday! Fx that 9/26 brings all us of good things!
@wifeinraleigh28 your DH sounds like mine! He has even hid off the tests just in case!
@tusername will you be testing early? Hopefully this week flies by for you!
I think DH finally kinda gets how crazy the TWW is in terms of symptom spotting even though we all know it will only make us crazier. I told him to think about if a dr told him he might have appendicitis but had to wait two weeks to know for sure. I could see the light bulb go off and he goes "ok I would be analyzing every little twinge".
For those of us that have betas on Monday, what time zone are you all in? I'm on eastern.
I'll go in at 6.45 and usually get the call sometime in the afternoon between 1-4pm. What time did you usually get calls about bloodwork during your cycle?
@mtpbadger Usually they would call sometime between 11-1 with my blood work results. That would be nice if they called within that window for beta results as well!

I'm eastern too. 7:30am on Monday. Then I'm working from home so no one can see me go crazy while I wait for the call. The way our appts are set up, I'm assuming I'll get the call first, and then they'll call @wifeinraleigh28 right after.
I've been POAS since 5dp5dt. All negative. Honestly, I think I'd be going nuts either way, so testing and seeing negative after negative has not eased anything. From what I've been reading, I think most gals who get a + before day 9 transferred more than one embryo. So maybe since we just transferred one there's not enough HCG yet? I don't know. I'm definitely getting more anxious the closer it gets to Monday. DH has noticed, for sure. He's being a good sport though, and trying to keep me positive (pun intended)!

It's possible it is implantation but I think I'm just scared because there was some red in there. I thought it was usually brown or pink but honestly who knows?? I'm trying not to get too upset but ugh this process is a killer.

@worldtravler0522 like others have said, I would try not to worry yet, there are lots of reasons you could be spotting and doesn't mean you are out yet! Are you using any suppositories? That could also be a reason if you are - your cervix could be irritated.
I'm taking estrace vaginally so maybe that's it. Thank you for the support ladies. I messy cried last night after getting home from a party. It seems to be gone today so I'm crossing my fingers.

@Worldtravler0522 I know it is so tough, but try not to worry (a tall order I know!). Distract yourself as best you can and my FX for you that this is your cycle.
@worldtravler0522 sorry to hear that you had a messy cry last night but sometimes we just need one of those! Hope you're doing better this morning! Glad to hear the spotting seems to have stopped, fx it was either just implantation spotting or irritation from the estrace.
@Worldtravler0522. I was just reading thru my old paperwork from the dr and it said very clearly that some bleeding during the 2ww is perfectly normal. Made me think of you! Keep going!
One more day, ugh we can do this! I still haven't POAS and I actually didn't even have the urge this morning. Yesterday DH offered to take the phone call so that I don't have to, which made me feel so relieved. For whatever reason, the thought of answering the phone and hearing the nurse tell me the news just causes me so much anxiety that I start to feel sick, and it is something I've been obsessing over. Now that DH will be the one to tell me, I feel much more relaxed. Don't get me wrong, I'm still bat shit crazy, but at least I feel slightly better!
DH and I are getting massages today and then @LeFemmeViolette is coming over to knit with me this afternoon. Good way to spend our last day waiting!

I have to say I'm so impressed with all of you holding out on early testing (before beta)! Kudos. I don't have that kind of will power. I know I'll celebrate being PUPO tomorrow by running right out to the store and buying a 3 pack of HPTs. I plan on testing 10/3 (2 days before beta) since that is my last day at home before my amazing month off ends. I don't want to be a basket case when I return to the office if I get a BFN. I also don't want to be overly giddy at the office if it is a BFP.
I seriously give you ladies the utmost respect for not POAS. That's some patience lol. Best of luck to all you ladies for your beta tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing those BFP's by 3pm!

Lol @wifeinraleigh28 - batshit crazy. Me too. Even with the BFP, I don't have an ultrasound for another 2 wks, and I'm all freaked bc I don't have any ms. It's just one big waiting game.
I'll be checking this thread incessantly tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
Tomorrow!! Eeek! @wifeinraleigh28 glad you were able to keep busy today and hopefully keep yourself distracted. Even though I'll be letting the call from the office go to voicemail, DH will be listening first Bc I don't think I can handle it.
If the call says its a negative I will be devastated. I've been having some symptoms (sore boobs, feeling queasy on and off throughout the day) that I keep trying to tell myself is just a side effect of the meds, but it's SO hard. I've had the sore boobs before during IUIs which were very low betas but the feeling queasy is something totally new.
I can't remember, have any of us tested yet that have betas tomorrow? If not, that is pretty impressive!
@fatpony I think the wait for you until your ultrasound has got to be excruciating! Just Bc you don't have ms doesn't mean anything, you might be one of the lucky ones that doesn't get it! Although I think we would all love to be sick as dogs just for reassurance!
Goodluck everyone!!!! It's already the day here for me so I'm off soon for my beta!!! Eeek! I can't wait to jump online later and see everyone's news.. My fingers are crossed for everyone!!!!! Big hugs!!!!

I'll be checking this thread incessantly tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
Ahhhhh, by this time tomorrow we should all have our results! (I get extreme butterflies every time I think about it).
