@DobbysSock So sorry for the extra stress you are going through right now but so glad to hear your daughter is safe. I hope you find someone you can trust for daycare quickly
@DobbysSock ugh I am so sorry that happened. It is obviously critical to able to trust everyone in a house where your child is being cared for. You did the best thing. Don't give yourself any more guilt, it is NOT your fault. It's theirs. Best of luck finding a new provider quickly.
DH has been telling me I'm crazy for thinking I felt the baby here and here the past couple of weeks. I know what it feels like and I know it's fairly early. I described it to my therapist (who specializes in maternal care) and she said it was absolutely what I was feeling. Vindicated!
I've been dead all day with a migraine. Coffee is wonderful. The caffeine cured me (when paired with Tylenol) within an hour. Oh and finally made me poop. Yay!
@Nerdchild we have 2 huskies here they actually don't bother the diapers at all! They are great about cleaning up spit up, spilled puffs, and any food the baby throws on the floor!
I love them and they are great dogs but I will never get such a hairy dog again! It's out of control!

That is the reason I refuse to give it up! I poop and the headaches leave!
@foxa319 Two of my dogs I'm not worried about at all, however, my oldest is already a trashcan digger (bathroom trashcans) and loves dirty q-tips, snotty rags, and all things disgusting. When I nannied she snatched a diaper or two before I could get it to the trash. She's super gross.

Two words. Sinus infection. My face hurts, my teeth hurt, my ears hurt. It kicked in yesterday at the start of a 12 hr shift. I went home, got 4 hrs sleep (thanks insomnia.) Then came back to work for another 12. I may die. Send help.

Looks like we're going to be 1/2 Team Green for baby #2. DH doesn't want to find out... So I'm going to find out and he'll stay in the dark. He said finding out when DD was born was the best moment of his life. Awww!
I really wanted to know with our first but chose to remain Team Green as a compromise. The deal was that we'd find out for any future kids. I don't mind if he's in he dark as long as I can find out. I think this will be really neat, and a real test for me to keep silent! 2/23 is our anatomy scan. I'm considering just remaining Team Green again so I don't slip up. Has anyone done anything like this before? We do have gender neutral newborn stuff since we were Team Green with our first.
Really late but the bump finally decided to stop kicking me out (fx).
My water was broken by a hook in hospital... On that note does it hurt the baby to be born in the sac? Only wondering because it would be neat to see it.
Someone said something about Oreo!! Pass some here please.
@DobbysSock I am sorry the care provider even put you and your DD in a situation where you have to wonder about the what ifs
On the pregnancy brain moment. Two other moms were over (mom A - has two kids, 4 and 9 months. Mom B -has one kid about 7 months.) mom B asks does pregnancy brain ever go away, she was clearly asking mom A but I answered no I haven't lost it since having DD last year... Mom B turns to me and goes "umm aren't you pregnant right now?" Ya... Shit apparently I forgot I was pregnant:(
Ughh. I'm really hoping this doesn't turn out that bad @Natinat6. I had one when I was 15 and it took 2 or 3 months to fully clear. So painful. I can only treat with sinus headache meds until tomorrow since I have to work but I will be taking all the Sudafed when I get home in the morning.
@pandaferh I used to get them chronically. As in 4-5 times a year. I can say without any doubt that this was the most miserable one ever. I would highly recommend just biting the bullet and getting the prescription. It was basically 14 days even with the meds. I just don't think your body can fight the way it does when you're not pregnant. I guess I should qualify that with my body couldn't hang.
The meds they have me are the same ones they give you when you're pregnant with a UTI. Cephalexin and is a category B. So I think actually a lower risk than Sudafed.
