And a better example would be telling @LinzerBinzer to be a good winner like I was last week since I didn't rub that pathetic loss in her face also our loss hurt bad today
Also I just fell down a flight of stairs hurts like a mother! I'm sure baby is fine so I'm not super freaking out just in a crap lot of pain in my butt and lower back
Eta: this is why pregnant women shouldn't do laundry
Both my mom and mother in law broke their leg during pregnancy doing laundry. I am striking on doing laundry until baby comes. I am not about to be 8 months with a full leg cast. Hubby can do all that laundry!

Terrifying! I just read in husbands pregnancy book the 4th month women get clumsy I might be the textbook example haha
@Lindsayleigh1989 It's out of love! We haven't had many Ws this year so I feel like I gotta take it where I can, but yes, I appreciate you being a nicer person than me!

Haha i know hearts to you too! Can I blame our loss on the cold?
Is anyone else feeling really lonely?? I have two friends who are also pregnant right now, and I thought this might be a great bonding experience for us but I am left out a lot because I am not as far along as they are. I feel really isolated.
GUYSSSSS!!!!!!!! I'm pretty positive I just felt baby move (15w3d)!!!! I have been running around like a mad woman tonight and just sat down and chugged a Pepsi. Started feeling these little pin-pricks type feeling lower inside my belly, so I threw my legs up into the chair next to me and tried to figure out if it was flutters or gas or my blood just pumping like crazy. Ruled out everything except for flutters, and then there was this much more prominent poking feeling. I'm 95% sure it's baby since I have zero gas right now. I'm so beyond excited!
ETA what I mean by "feeling baby move" is that I'm feeling my very first flutters. I'm not claiming to feel baby acting all ninja in there yet.
So I came across an article this morning on fb that I thought was well put and hit it right on the nail regarding some parenting behaviors. People just need to chill the heck out and let us parent our own children the way we know how to do it best.

Agree with most of this! Just not the cosleeping with a baby thing. A toddler or older? Fine. But I am way too worried about co sleeping and nothing anyone can say will change that. Of course, I AM a paranoid pgal so take that as it is.
@MamaBish Totally agree! I cosleep with my toddler but kept her in the bassinet/crib when she was a still a baby. I would never cosleep with a baby just because of the risks. My coworkers have been on my case to stop the cosleeping with my toddler and although they have good intentions, I personally find it very annoying...
Has anyone ever gotten a metallic taste in their mouth before? I was working out today, and I drink plenty of water while working out, but then all of a sudden my mouth got dry and I had that horrible taste in my mouth!
Married: August 2012

Lemonade helps!
Yes lemonade and lemon drop candy. Or any sour candies.

@MamaBish - Completely agree! Co-sleeping terrified me when DD was an infant. I would actually have horrible dreams where I thought I forgot to put her back in her rock 'n play after nursing and thought we had rolled over on her in the bed. I would wake up in a panic and scare the shit out of my husband almost nightly. I guess since I was so sleep deprived I would feed her, put her back and just go right back to sleep afterwards. I've heard it can be done safely, but I just never trusted myself.
How to cure a case of the Mondays? One option is to come in to work to find out that your research team and Primary Investigator were featured in the Huffington Post. Am I on cloud nine? Maybe just a bit.
What is an appropriate gift to give my coworker who is giving me her sons old clothes and toys?
A thank you note. I don't think you need to repay her in any way. I think lots of moms like to hand off their outgrown stuff because they'd rather see a friend use it than donate it or throw it away. You're sort of doing her a favor, too.
Clumsiness: Yessssss. I smashed my hand between my hip and the church pew yesterday. Hurt SO BAD, and I yelled out in the sanctuary. I though my husband was going to put his hand over my mouth. It swelled up so bad, and now is all purple. And what was I doing? Walking. I may have broken my finger while WALKING.
Spit: Yes on this one, too. I have so much spit that I'm constantly accidentally spitting while talking. So many apologies.
@DeriveMyPi I'm not doing it because of "how it would look" (which is such a lame reason), but PURPLE! I have seen a few women with wild bright hair during pregnancy and I think it looks SOOOOO COOL! I've heard after the first trimester most doctors say it's safe, though I'd double check with yours. Also if you dye your hair purple post pics and I will think you're the most amazing person ever and follow you to the ends of the earth!
@noelietrex you might be my new favorite person! I have always wanted to dye my hair pink! I love the idea of doing it during pregnancy - i've never heard of that before. I am definitely asking during my appointment wednesday but was curious what other mom's do. I'm getting married in March, and of course concerned about all that girly stuff
After March, I say you do purple, and I'll do pink, and we start a trend
Me: 28 | Husband: 39 Married March 2016 DD: born 7.22.16 DS EDD: 6.23.18
@MrsRo731 I did that every night until my son was 1. Most terrifying feeling ever. I would wake up in a panic "where's the baby?!" I would wake up poor DH and every time he would get up and turn the light on, showing me he was sound asleep in his crib next to us. That is one thing I'm not looking forward to after this baby is born.
What is everyone's opinion on dying your hair during pregnancy? I read that first trimester is a no-go, but after that the reviews are mixed.
I dyed my hair in the first trimester, I just used an ammonia free semi permanent dye. I don't wash my hair every day, so those 28 shampoo dyes last a while. I need to redo it soon.
I love crazy colored hair. I had fire engine red, purple, navy blue, and teal tips at different points throughout high school. As a teacher, I'm definitely limited now. My hair sucks now.
My nauseous has died down a lot in the past few weeks but I have now entered the stage where when I do throw up there's absolutely no warning. So when I was eating at Qudobas today I ended up puking all over the place. Most embarrassing moment of my life!
@shaylalr yes on the loneliness front. My reasons are different than yours, but I definitely feel isolated.
For whomever was posting about hair dye...it's not so much the absorption through your skin, it's breathing in the chemicals. With ds I would go first thing in the morning so there weren't a ton of women getting dyed at once. I would also pop out their back door for a breather while the dye was setting. I did a couple different shades of pink last year and a purple. Loved the crazy colors, not how my hair felt afterwards. I ended up chopping it all off about a month ago to let it heal from the multiple bleaches.
