I'm honestly afraid to get shots while I'm pregnant. That sounds stupid because I'll vaccinate my kids but right now I just feel like she's so fragil and stuff.

Not stupid at all...as a mom you have a say on what goes in both you AND your kid's body and when. You're just making some of the first decisions as a parent.

Alright ladies. Saturday is moving day, tomorrow we load the truck when DH gets off school, and today is my last whole day to really get stuff done. Today my list includes: laundry, baking cookies, making chex mix and reindeer chow for the road trip, cleaning out cabinets, then cleaning the cleaned out cabinets, showering, packing up the clothes, finding more boxes to pack up the rest of the house.
Too bad I feel like absolute crap today. Water water and more water for me, in attempts to sort of make it through today. This is gonna be a fun one.
GUYS I JUST FELT A BABY FOOT
Not like a kick...she was stretching and I put my hand on my stomach and felt a hard little spot that then went away along with the pressure. I mean I guess it could have been a knee or something but I just felt my kid for real and I'm casually crying in the optometrist office
haha I definitely felt a foot the another night too. My hand was just in the right place at the right time. Now I keep having dreams that I can see the outline of her foot and hold on to it. Yay for ninja babies lol

@skruhmin if you're having symptoms that severe I'd go to urgent care, better than being miserable. I believe OTC pyridium is pregnancy category B, if you want to use it for some symptom relief. Burning pee makes me wince with sympathy!

Me too. Last pregnancy I had one that wouldn't and had to do several antibiotic rounds. Why is pregnancy so much fun???

Not sure if pyridium is the same as AZO, but I got some of that when I had a UTI with DD. Relieves the pain while you wait for the antibiotics to kick in. UTIs are the woooooorrrrrrrst!!!

@kynbar5 I was just thinking the same thing. I've checked out some of the other BMBs and we are pretty average as far as the amount of postings. regular contributors, etc. I "supplement" with tri boards, the baby name board and Feb. and April BMBs when things are slower than normal (late afternoon, weekends, when I am feeling extra lurky, etc.) but I take offense to the slow label lol!!!
DH has a pot luck Thanksgiving at work today. He sent me a picture of his PLATES of food. Multiple plates filled with delicious food that I don't have. I don't know how to punish him for this cruelty.

I've come to the conclusion that I've lost my mind and am over thinking about the STUPIDEST things today. I was watching my dvr'd episode of the Muppets and I keep seeing the commercial from Chevy where they are given a math problem to predict when two cars will collide. I keep trying to solve the problem but I get upset that I can't set it up mentally because they keep saying they're headed in the same direction. Ummm... Why am I driving at a vastly different speed as the car in front of me if I'm on a one lane road? If I'm not on a one lane rd, then why I am I driving behind this slow poke!?! Crazy thoughts don't stop there but I'm going to try to ignore the irrational thoughts in my head right now and shove my face full of toast and eggs.

I was looking at the others too. I think since its so cold here and I have to double up anyway I may as well wear Dh's fleece with my current winter coat over it, then I can leave it unzipped.

The only thing I have from there right now maternity wise is a pair of capris and a shirt. The pants run true to size. I bought a large in a shirt and it fits. I wear a large in some stuff and some mediums. I ordered a large coat and I hope it fits. I figure the belly is only going to get bigger from here. I normally tend to size up on my jackets because I wear sweaters a lot and I am a D so I need extra room in the chest.
@mrspepper05 & cmerribury Your welcome! I was debating on spending the money on one too but I figured it was worth it since its probably going to be cold now until near the end of my pregnancy. I really wanted a wool pea coat but wasn't willing to spend 200.00 on it. When I found this one I jumped on it.
@bntfroggie - just the way his mom does things and how much its different than the way my mom does things. I should point out that he is a bit of a momma's boy (way better than he used to be). I'm more cranky now and just get super annoyed.. wanted to see if anyone else experences anything like this!
So ended up going to the ER because the pain was too much. They took me straight to labor and delivery. I am contracting but they gave me pain meds. Just waiting for labs to come back to see what's up. Hopefully ctx slow down and they figure out what's going on.
