The anticipation is killer isn't it. My little one wasnt moving much the two days leading up to my AS so I was just keeping fingers crossed for healthy baby.. Gender didn't really matter. But now that I know baby she is healthy I'm happy to know its a girl. Either would have been great, it's just exciting getting to buy things now and know which name we will be using. I hope everything is going wonderful for you and you get all good news. I'm interested to see which team you will be joining!
@JLaVO888 congrats on being team pink!! @flowerpower5838 best of luck! Can't wait to hear if your LO is a boy or girl!!!
Thanks!! I see you are making a Tasty recipe today?! How's it turning out? They just posted a cream cheese stuffed banana bread that I really want to try!

It was awesome. I added pineapple to it and it was great! Pic is a little dark but your get the idea....
@jlavo888 YES! The anticipation is crazy. I got a little spoiled at the beginning of the pregnancy being able to see baby quite a bit because of the SCH. So glad it cleared up, but that also meant no more ultrasounds at every appointment. Also my original appointment was 10/28 but the doctor pushed it back two weeks so the wait seemed even longer!
Is it just me or did this weekend fly by?? I mean, I am not complaining as I am obviously super excited for my anatomy scan, but I feel like I JUST left work on Friday.
@flowerpower5838 All the food posts are mouth watering. I think I'm actually going to cook tonight... Frito pies.
Bummer that dr had to push appointment back. Ours got pushed back only two days and that was hard enough. I don't have patients though. I could never hold out for team green. The weekend always flys by. We have been working on the baby room this weekend which was so fun but really made the weekend fly even faster than normal.
I am snuggling in bed and checked my calendar... In the next 14 days I have a mid wife appt, an OB/rheumy consultant appt with a growth scan, an apt with my normal rheumy And to put the icing on the cake the 3 hour glucose test....
Anyone who wants to make a case againSt nationalised healthcare because of the reduced care really has no idea! The only.lucky thing is my classes for.the next 3 weeks are at the medical.school joined to both hospitals! (Big uni/hospital campus)

This weekend went by way too fast. I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow. After 10 weeks of working, doing 2 counties worth of work I got told Friday I'm not doing it right. Seriously!? I was dumped in a secretary position with absolutely NO training, and now I'm told I'm not doing my work right. That makes me mad. I don't think I will stay here long anyway- if I can make it till after the baby is born then I'll start looking for work in my degree field.
Thank god for a 4 day work week- and these next two days better hurry up... got a lot to look forward to on Wednesday!

This weekend did fly! My sitter just texted to say she can't take ds tomorrow because she has the stomach bug. It sucks losing another day, but since ds is only beginning to eat I will gladly have an excuse to spend another day at home with him. Tuesday I have professional development and we are off for veterans day so I won't be in the classroom until Thursday. It is going to be a weird week.
@2goofykids I'm glad everything looks okay! Hoping for awesome results at your follow up. I was thinking about you the other day and I was like oh yeah she's in Disney.
I like how the March baby ratio is like 8 boys to each girl. @flowerpower5838 I hope Wednesday comes quickly and goes well!
The weekend did fly by. I don't want to go to work tomorrow at all. I'm so checked out and o can't wait to be done. They're just stressing me out and making me angry ~X(
My friends and I placed bets on if my husband could handle making boxed brownies on his own. I told him just to read the directions. He mixed everything but forgot about the whole turning on the oven so it will bake them thing. Ohhhh boys.
I agree. Blinked and now the weekend is over. Got lots done today...built a new cabinet for my sons art supplies and organized the hell out of them. Then pulled everything out of my guest room closet to organize my wrapping paper and ribbons, etc. I am in full nesting mode! Tomorrow, lights get added to the chicken coop and even more organizing happens. Yay!
@cmerribury I started to organized all of my art supplies today. I'm so over it and still have more to do.
@Stormiewinter short weeks are hard. The kids get all out of sync. We have literacy night tomorrow night plus a Veterans Day assembly. Tuesday I have to go to a textbook adoption meeting and progress reports are due. Wednesday is a half day with PD in the afternoon and I'm on the writing team that's leading the training. I dk how I'm going to make it to Thursday.
I realize this is about romantic love but for some reason it really got to me and I cried about it for like 5 minutes. I'm definitely going to make something to hang in baby girls room.
Cute @SarahFoley725! We got two pieces of wall art at hobby lobby yesterday. (50% off!) we are doing a vintage theme with grey silver and white and accents of pink.
Anyone else feel like you majorly got huge over the weekend? I was staring at my bump today and it just ballooned. I know I get big, but it's always shocking when it happens. Bonus though, I'm finally able to see my belly jumping from the outside

YES I feel enormous. My first time mommy friends are so tiny and I'm like BOOM maybe it's because I'm heavy already. Whatever. Ignore my AW picture & our bathroom is under construction
My bump ballooned last week and then shrunk down again. It freaked me out a little but just heard baby's heartbeat a few days ago so I'm sure I was just supper bloated for a few days.
I'm wondering if this is bloat but it hurts too much. I've been feeling baby more consistently for the past few days and today I've felt very few nudges. I'd be ok with this pain if I could just feel baby move and know it's ok.
So talk to me about chew guards for the crib. Are they a good investment? When I search online most pictures show the guards on only the front pannel of the crib. I don't hnderstnad how that helps if the sides are exposed. Also, does baby find a way to chew on the bars of the crib too? I'm picturing my teething little one as munching woodchuck but maybe I'm letting my imagination run too far... Is there a good way to keep baby from chewing on the crib all together?

My LO hasn't got to the point where I can feel her all the time. Im finally getting used to NOT feeling her all the time for now. When I ballooned out it was painful because everything felt hard and pressed together. After I deflated a little the pain went away. I think bloat has a whole new meaning at this point in the game.
I swear I just had a magical moment this morning! I was in bed waking up, rubbing my belly, telling baby "good morning". I ran my hand across my tummy and felt this little tiny maybe inch long hard bump so I stopped, but it disappeared! I most definitely felt either a foot or a fist!

@smushi Oh my God. So sorry That is awful, how sad. That poor momma dog, that just makes me want to cry. Thank you for being someone who rescues and saves animals. hugs

I feel like saying this is going to jinx me lol but none of mine have ever chewed on the crib. They've always had teethers they liked though so maybe those helped? They were nothing fancy, I just buy a few from Target or Walmart and they always end up favoring one.

My son essentially ate his crib. We put guards on everything. But too late. Guard it all!!
@smushi I'm so sorry, that's heartbreaking. Creepy internet hugs from one animal rescuer/foster to another. >:D<
I would like to introduce you all to my new best friend for getting ready in the morning. It's getting so it hurts to stand too long. We did an IKEA trip yesterday. I ♡ you already chair!
g'morn ~ can't believe it is already Monday. rainy and chilly here. have to get groceries (my fave). i think i am going to just leave the littles in their warm jammies when we go. i sure wish i could get away with wearing PJs to the market, but i'm not quite so cute in mine. maybe i will dress in big clothes and leave them on under ...
