Someone on another board mentioned the website babysizer, that lets you know the size of baby compared to 'real' objects as opposed to fruit. Will be good for DH who wasn't quite sure what a pommegranate is. My baby, for example, is the size of a chipotle burrito this week!!

Oh! I like those comparisons so much better!! I was looking at that pomegranate reference on TB app. I'm wondering where they heck they've seen a 10.5" pomegranate!?! Even the ginormous gmo grocery store pomegranates aren't that big.

As much as I hate baby showers I'm kinda excited. My mom just informed me my cousin wants to host a baby shower for me I had my one friend offer to but she supposedly just got married (the one I mentioned a long time ago) and already her husband has made her drop her work hours from full time to only 12 hour weekend shifts so she can stay home all week and take care of the 3 kids...let's just say I know that isn't going to end well and I don't need that drama added back into my life. A lot of in-laws have offered to give us their hand - me - down clothes if we ever can determine what this baby is!
Idk why because I hated my last shower but I'm kinda looking forward to it maybe it's because so much time and "work" has been put into making this baby!?
February Siggy Challenge- Post pregnancy indulgences
Had the weirdest craving of any pregnancy ever today... I felt COMPELLED to sit in a new vehicle. DH was getting his oil changed at the dealership, and I HAD to go sit in a new Toyota Highlander. It was mind blowing how amazing it felt to sit in one. I don't need a new car. I have a nice paid off vehicle. It was just such a strong craving to sit inside a new car.... ruined only 20 seconds later by a salesman.

Ds had perked up a little this evening. He ate 3 Popsicles and I am so happy!! I know it is still basically frozen juice (although these ones have fruit purée in them), but it is still the closest he has come to eating in a week. Thanks for all the positive vibes ladies. Hopefully the Trend continues and he will be willing to eat more tomorrow.

I am SO glad we are such a tame BMB compared to others. IDK how we even got so lucky. My last BMB was a lot like Feb 16 lol.

We went to IHOP this morning and I ordered a ridiculous breakfast meal. Then DS ate most of it.... For an 18 month old, the kid can pack away some food. Now I'm sitting on the sofa coordinating a puppy rescue! Squeee puppies!
I'm back! And finally got caught up on here! Hope everyone's kids are feeling better, and that the weekend has been restful!
Vacation was amazing, got to spend some much needed time enjoying my DH, and hanging out with my parents and one of my sisters. DH even bought me a beautiful string of pearls, which I've been wanting for about forever.
I was feeling great until friday, which was our last day in Magic Kingdom, and around 10 in the morning I noticed some bleeding, which was very bright and accompanied by some back pain. I got wheeled out of magic kingdom on a gurney and ended up in the L&D trauma ward. Baby boy looks extremely healthy, his heart rate was 153, and of course I hadn't felt him all day but as soon as they strapped the monitor on he was kicking at it so much they couldn't get a steady reading for contractions.
My cervix is very irritated and the doctor wasn't sure why. I have a follow-up on Tuesday with my doctor here to see if we can figure it out.
Well- I believe nesting has kicked in to full gear. I tore apart my entire bedroom, reorganized and at least got the closet put back together. But I'm at a stand - still because DH decided now is a good time to start the chilli, and has found out we don't have a chilli powder packet, needs to go and get one- yet I need him to move the furniture around for me! It doesn't help that I want to move everything to make room for the pack-n-play. But i cant do it alone. Next weekend I'm gonna leave for the back room.

I also after eating shit for a bit I finally got a good dinnerI in... casserole of potato, panchetta and onions with a pheasant roasting on top, roasted sprouts and purple carrots with cayenne and honey.... so excited for being almost functional

First I need to get the house back together after 2 weeks of Ds being sick (we have moved up from Popsicles and he is now eating yogurt today. Yay!). Then I have book shelves to build and deep cleaning (especially closets). The spare room needs to be cleared out and then we need to paint DS's bedroom and the soon to be nursery.
We are having a little bday celebration for ds tonight (he turns 3 tomorrow). Making a nice roast and cupcakes, wishfully thinking ds might eat some of it.

Took me about 30 minutes to catch up on the posts from this week. Between parent teacher conferences and all the other crazy work responsibilies I have right now I havn't had much time to post or even cook dinner for that matter. We have eaten out for about two weeks straight now because I havnt even been to the grocery store. I caught a darn cold to boot. I wish I could be more active and join the convo as it happened but I'm usually only able to post on Sunday's when it's pretty slow on here. When the board started this summer I loved gettin to know everyone and now I feel like the ghost of the bump boards past. Anyhow, glad to see lot of good results at the AS's. For those of you that have had more stressful results, hugs to you! I posted a drive by the other day to share we are team pink. Thanks for all the likes!!
