    When DH realized what was going on he came home, ordered us a pizza and fixed up our bed. :x

    @edoliesmom‌ you're so sweet to be there for your family like that. I'm sure your SIL can rest a little easier knowing she has you! Can you believe your producing for two babies now?? Superwoman!

    I've been a little silent the past week, but I need a little support so I'm going to ask you ladies.

    I had a funeral today for a friend, he was 24. We've been friends for a majority of those years, he's only a few months older than I. After he was given military honors, another family friend was taken away from the funeral in an ambulance and DH and I were notified tonight that he didn't make it. It's been a rough week with many tears and it looks like the week ahead won't be any better.

    Any prayers, thoughts, or good vibes for strength that can be sent this way would be so appreciated.

    lol Well, it was just for a few hours! She ended up not being admitted but wasn't able to nurse him for 6 hours because of some meds she was given. It was a pretty cool feeling even though it was a short period of time!

    @janellemj928 Oh my goodness. :( I'm so sorry. It's heartbreaking enough to lose someone, but it's even more to have tragedies happen back-to-back like that. I can't imagine. I'll say a pray for you and the families of both of the people who are gone.

    So sorry @janellemj928‌. Seems even harder to lose someone this time of year. My aunt dad Christmas eve last year and it really puts a damper on what is suppose to be a happy time of year :(

    Anyone ever heard anything about babies getting almond milk? Not as a breast milk replacement obviously, but we have almond milk smoothies for breakfast every morning and DD likes to sample everythibg we eat.

    Feeling grumpy today. Stupid mangled nip won't let me pump at anything but the lowest setting (I usually do the highest and DD nurses like a little Hoover) so now I have clogged ducts in addition to a slowly healing bitten nipple. I keep considering weaning to formula and then feeling guilty :(

    Please don't tell DH, he keeps pestering me to go to this place in northern Ontario he used to go to as a kid and I have been using the kids are too young excuse since DS was born 4 years ago. My camping requires bathrooms, showers and access to civilization
    Hahaha, I love it!  DH is the reluctant one here, since baby the only camping we've done has been in a trailer, so he's pretty nervous about the tent thing.  I'm excited though - I promised myself this when I was pregnant, I didn't want to have to give up backpacking for years!

    You guys are making me regret not setting up my tree today. Also @JessieAlbin‌ I've had my iPhone 6 for a month and have yet to record Dylan in slomo. I shall do this asap

    So my DH brought home some of the deer he shot. He thinks we need to throw out a whoooole bunch of my BM freezer stash to make room for it. No. Just no.

    @purespark‌ we're working through our frozen food. But his parents have a huge sub zero freezer and 3 additional small freezers where he could store his silly 5 lbs of venison. :-)

    You don't have space for 5 lbs? Your stash must be huge!
    I'm exaggerating the amount of venison by a bit.... Maybe more like 20 lbs. But yeah, our little half freezer (waist high) is full of BM with only a little other stuff.

    We got our tree last night but I rinse it with water and let it sit outside for a day. Tree goes up and decorated December 1st for the 25 days of Christmas!
    I'm gonna take mine out of the box tomorrow. I may or may not decorate it tomorrow night. I invited my mom and sister to come over and help decorate next weekend if decorations aren't on it yet because my bf doesn't get into the holiday spirit.
