1st road trip today....Going well so far, DD napped for 1.5 hours and now happily playing.... Hoping she falls asleep again!

Poor thing.... My cat had a tumor and had to have surgery- it was so hard! Luckily it was Benign (sp) I hope everything goes smoothly and that you get good news.

Sorry for the drive by. I want to catch up later, but right now can I have some T&P? DH woke up with chest pain this morning, we got checked out at the fire station, and now we are at the ER. He said the pain is better, and I don't think it's asthma related. It's just kind of a scary way to start the day

Happy Friday! Stuck under a sleeping baby... (Finally napping) watching last nights episodes of scandal, and Greys anatomy!! Bummed the dc meetup fell through, I hope we can plan a legit one for the fall.

They are just such selfish assholes, and no matter what it won't be good enough. I need all the prayers that Isla hates them and cries whenever my MIL holds her.... It's the only thing I'm hopeful for.

I hate searching for jobs. Yesterday I applied at Burger King. I asked DH why he doesn't go down and at least apply at BK or McDos and he said because he doesn't like that sort of thing. I wanted to stab him. It's not about what you like, or want. It's about paying our bills and not living in a cardboard box on the side of the freeway.

Here's where I would have just dropped an air mattress just next to the sewing machine.

I would have told them to find themselves their own darn hotel room.

G has a cold and is teething, so he feels miserable! He will only sleep on DH chest. The only problem is that now DH is asleep and snoring SO loudly! I'm scared he's going to wake G up!

I've been having so many problems with mine. My power button stopped working, so they had to send me a "new" one (pretty sure it was refurbished). Then after a month or so, the wifi stopped working! So I had to get another one, and this one does weird things too similar to yours. After taking pictures, it won't let me view them from the camera app sometimes. I have to close it out and go to the photo app. I'm thinking about changing to a Galaxy with the next upgrade. :-w

Thank you all for the hugs and prayers and everything. They went in and looked at his liver and spleen and they actually looked ok, but the mass was in his stomach and they wanted to check out, assuming he may have a blockage from something he ate. Unfortunately, his stomach has a large tumor. Because of its size it is too large to remove. His heart stopped once during the surgery and right now he is being stabilized and we will know more later. I'm not sure if they did a biopsy if it were even possible to do without removing it, or if it matters at this point. We have to talk to a veterinary surgeon now and I have so many questions but I think I know the answers. I just want him to come home and feed him bananas and let all 80lbs of him try to sit on my lap. Now he's going to be very sick and in a lot of pain for how ever long he has left and it just kills me. I didn't see this one coming.

Oh, on a happier note our furniture arrived today!!! <:-P Not going to AW it because I feel self-conscious about our crappy apartment when there are people who have crazy fancy houses on here.

We'll have a nice home one day...

Whoops, that turned into not happy. Yay furniture! And we finally own a tv that's bigger than the size of an iPad now! \:D/

Awww @Ashleypixie I'm so so sorry. I know how you feel with the "didn't see it coming." I ultimately lost my first dog in an very similar circumstance to the one you're in now. Just remember, even though he's sick, he'll know that all the little things you do (whether it's sleeping on the floor with him or feeding him all the bananas he can handle) mean you love him, and he'll see that and it will give him a lot of comfort and peace.

Wow that's awesome!

Now if only they had a free massage table LoL! Or maybe they have a sauna so I can just sit for a while. The thought of being able to do something for myself while both kids are being cared for is enough for me to want to go!

@swerbtastic3351‌ I know you didn't mean it this way at all, but that made me feel materialistic! I mean, I feel like I gave off that vibe. We have just been sitting on the floor to eat every meal and have been banished to our rooms if we want to sit anywhere, and it feels so gloomy sitting in bed all day, or the floor. I'm just happy to have somewhere to sit to enjoy the living room now, and I feel a little bit more like an adult now that we've purchased our first pieces of furniture.
