This new layout is not cool. I don't like change ( DD fell asleep in the car so I'm bumping in the library parking lot. I have to go pay stupid $55 in late fees. So annoyed at myself!

It is free museum day! We are going to go to the train museum.
This is a nationwide thing inspired by the Smithsonian. You can find participating museums in your area here: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/venues/

Dang. How long have you had that book checked out? Our fines are $.05 or $.10 per day late per book.
12 books (4 were DD's). 10 cents a day. Like a month over due... I used to get 10-15 books every other week. I hate having no time to read ( My mom was all "I read so much when I had you kids. Everytime I nursed I would just read." Well, her kids were all 20ish min nursers. Whereas DD is like 10 min, little piggy. Plus, hello, I gotta bump sometime!

When my son was a baby I used to read books out loud while he nursed. With this baby, I tend to zone out on my phone...I'm kind of worried she isn't going to be as smart!
Thanks guys. I have about 40 ounces in the fridge waiting to be bagged. DH got paid today so ill go get more bags today before it goes bad. The oldest is from Tuesday the rest is from Friday.
I dumped this mornings 8 ounces ( always get more the first pump) because my OCD convinced me that my bottles were still greasy even after washing. I soaked everything for four hours while I worked and ill keep what I'm pumping now. I don't have supple issues so it'll be ok but this can't be a common iccurance or my stash is going to die!
Yeah, I bump through my regular internet browser on my phone (chrome), and it's still messed up for me
I love when random strangers make your day. I was at Meijers, unshowered, DD in the carrier, dying of sweat, trying to heave all my groceries into the car without accidentally clobbering DD. I was feeling gross and overheated and annoyed with everything, when a lady putting her cart away looked over at me and said, "Good mom multitasking!" Lol, such a little thing, but it totally made me feel better about myself

@rtv3 I made a Meijer run today too, with DD in the carrier. I always do self checkout and someone bagged my groceries for me and just as I was about to leave the person behind me said "you have such a beautiful baby girl." Makes you feel good
DH and I got in a knock down drag out fight. He called me a crazy bitch for getting pissed at him for not doing anything and sleeping in until 11. Well, I proceeded to go get Wendy's and then sleep for 4 hours. He's being such a dick and I feel like shit. He's in the dog house for a while this time.
My house has been a train wreck all week, so today I've finally been able to clean more than one area of the house. I feel so much less cluttered. Also i have a huge box full of random crap that needs to go to the goodwill.
Also today we start moving DS from bed sharing to the crib, because he's a bed hog and I need my space. Fingers crossed that it works.
I know we still have weeks to go but I'm terrified of the time change. I always used to love the fall one too, extra hour to sleep! Now my baby will be up even earlier, bah!
Pictures were a disaster. D was a perfect little model, but C freaked out. Eventually we got a sort of ok shot of him trying to eat a prop of fake popcorn, right before the epic fit that followed when he realized the popcorn wasn't real. But no pics of the boys together.
It's soooooo hard to get a day where both will cooperate on photos. We had ours done 2 weeks ago and I'm nervous to see them. I just want one good pic of all of us and one of the boys together. Impossible I hear.
This is the second weekend in a row that both kids have napped 2-3 hours simultaneously. We need to learn to be more productive, because so far DH and I just sit on the couch and stare at each other like, "now what?"
I think my baby is broken. He has only napped for like an hour total today, one 30 minute nap this morning then three tiny naps. He never does this and is giving all the sleep cues but he refuses to go to sleep! He's now bouncing like a mad man in his Excersaucer. I'm hoping he'll completely exhaust himself. It's like he forgot how to nap!
He must be getting ready to do something pretty impressive! You'll have to let us know what he comes up with...

This is DS2 at daycare all week. He takes like 5-6 mini-naps. He's been napping in 2-3 hour chunks on the weekend just because he's so exhausted from the week I think.
FIL just called, he's all good. Why they have cell phones I don't even know. [-(
Glad he's ok, but LOL. This is true of anyone over 50.
My ex is 51 and he has a cell. My dad is like 70 and always getting the latest iphone
What I meant was that they don't answer their cellphones. My parents don't- it's so annoying. DHs grandma had a cellphone for emergencies but she'd leave it off as not to "waste the batteries" and then she got lost once and no one could get ahold of her.
My MIL will get a new iphone but hasn't figured out how to work it as far back as 3G. She has an ipad but barely uses it and plays games on their old PC. I'm like uh, you know you can download and play games on your ipad from the comfort of the sofa...
Just a generalization about old people and technology, though there are some tech savvy seniors out there. Not in my family though. My parents can text and send photos, so there is that.

We have a "get together" to go to with jungle juice. I feel like I'm in high school again. I'm not ready for small talk and drunk people.
