    What would RTT do? 

    Back at the beginning of Aug I got a refund check from one of my student loan companies. there was no letter or any info with the check so I had no idea what it was for. I paid off all my loans with them about a year ago so I was surprised to get a check. One of my friends who does financial stuff told me it was probably due to the way that they calculated the interest and because I paid it off early I probably had overpaid. Ok fine. I was so confused I waited like 3 weeks to deposit it because I was just waiting for them to say it was a mistake. 

    Well I finally cashed it at the end of Aug and we used that to pay off another loan...and then I get a call telling me that it was a mistake and they want that money back! I'm so frustrated because it was a lot of money that now I have to try and scrape together because THEY screwed up. And the paranoid part of me is freaked out that it is a scam. According to the guy who called they had multiple accounts with the same name and someone else's payment got applied to my account on accident! Which if nothing else seems like pretty poor business if you are a loan company! So I told the guy that I wanted this in writing and of company letterhead, which I got in the mail this morning. It is basically a generic form letter saying nothing specific about my situation except the amount they want back and to top it off its on a xerox copy of a letterhead. I could put together a better letterhead on my on computer! 

    So now I'm even more angry about this and not sure what to do to be certain its not some strange scam.

    Just got back from our building wide evacuation drill. Of course it would happen when I'm on the 27th floor, not my normal home of 17. At least it wasn't in the middle of a pumping session! \:D/

    Also, this new mobile app makes typing hard - the keyboard covers the text box area!

    Still can't upload photos though... way to still suck Bump!

    @3crazykitties Sadly there is no place I could physically walk into. Cuz I'd love to haul in my 2.5 yo and let him run wild in there while I got some answers. It would serve them right!  >:)

    @purespark I do have online access and it shows no activity on my account since I paid off the last loan. I scoured the site when the check first came, hoping to find an explanation. As far as I can tell there wouldn't be any statements since I paid everything off a year ago, and all that stuff is online anyway. I may see if they can generate something anyhow.

    I need to call and talk to someone myself. So far the only communication has been them calling me and then the (crappy) letterhead. All the numbers are the same and they know the exact amount of the check, so it probably is legit. But I'm beyond pissed that I suffer for someone else doing a piss poor job.

    Can antibiotics make my EBF girly sleepy? I was put on an antibiotic for an upcoming dental procedure, started taking it yesterday morning and now A's sleeping a hell of a lot more than she normally does. Maybe the magical sleep unicorn is visiting me for a day, but it's a little worrying...

    No, only for a few minutes at a time. I got it so my little sous chef can be closer to me while I cook.
