  • Just threw up the cold pizza I decided was going to be my hangover cure...I'm such a good example to Quinn, where's my mother of the year award?

@dani+california‌ I'll see your hangover barfing and raise you a 10 year high school reunion that resulted in me feeding A what must have been close to straight vodka. And really anything that happens today. Didn't help her sleep any better though. Not sure if I'm hungover or still drunk this morning.

Only 3 hours left in our 17 hour drive til I'm "home" in MD. DSD and DS have done SO good. So proud of them. Dreading Tuesday, my Dad's funeral :(

Glad the drive is going okay. And hugs, I am sorry about your dad.
  • @NoLaLinz‌ I'm sorry for your loss and hope the trip continues smoothly.
  • @NoLaLinz‌ safe travels. So sorry for your loss. I hope you get to enjoy some good family time and celebrate your dad.

  • @mamrotu73‌ I am a little envious of your awesome sleep night. E was up every 1.5-2 hours. I'm tired

  • He had horrible sleep and then we were all woken up by an amber alert in the middle of the night.
  • @NoLaLinz‌ thinking of you today! Here's to a very chill and uneventful rest of your trip, and all the ice cream. Hugs to you, lady.
  • Ugh, I'm feeling guilty :( DH came home from work early at 5am. I was almost back to sleep at 5:30 when I thought I heard something. So I looked up at the monitor to see if DD was awake and the monitor was off! I jumped up and ran to her room (right next to ours) and sure enough she was bawling, poor kiddo. She calmed right down and went back to sleep after nursing but I feel so bad! DH said she wasn't crying when he came to bed and walked right past her door. But I totally might've made her CIO in the middle of the night without even knowing it :(

Don't worry. I did the same thing the other night. Ds was just fine in the morning. I still feel bad, but we can't be perfect all the time

  • I'm so sorry, @NoLaLinz‌. I hope the rest of the drive went well and that you get plenty of family time.
  • Oh @nolalinz, I'm so sorry. My condolences to you and your family.
  • Dylan has started scream crying everytime I leave his sight or put him down and it's driving me crazy. Idk if his dad just sits around all day holding him while im at work but I'm annoyed as fuck and feel like a bad mom because of it.
  • @NoLaLinz‌, hugs to you. I'm so very sorry.

  • I think it is time for me to get a new washing machine. Mine has started creating cycles of it's own. I am looking at an LG that has really good reviews but I am wondering what RTT says? Front loader or top loader? I have never had a front loader.

We've got an LG top loaderwe have had for about 10 years and its still going strong! Its one without the central agitatir and we love it. OMG i can't believe its 10 years old! Only realised that writing this post! Should throw it a party!

  • @NoLaLinz‌ I'm so sorry for your loss!

Finally back home and waiting for ds1 to wake up! He had a really tough weekend, he was very upset that I was gone. I called yesterday and he was so upset thinking I was "at work" (which is where Daddy has been for 5 months). I told him I was just shopping and I'd be back today after nap, but it was still heartbreaking.
  • I'm so excited! LO has decided it's time to start rolling. He has sporadically rolled here and there but now I can't keep him on his back.
  • My parents moved to South Texas from where we live (Denver metro) 7 years ago, before we had kids. It's a 14 hr drive. Now we travel down there once a year (driving) at thanksgiving. I am a phobic flyer and I love road trips, so it's ok, and it's the only way we could bring the big dog with us. And it would cost us 3x as much to fly than to drive. I don't mind being away from home for the holiday- it's just taken on a new meaning being somewhere else.

I am constantly thinking about pregnancy and future babies. I don't even know if I want or can handle another kid!!!! I wish I could turn off my brain and not think about this for a year or two but its always on my mind. Annoying!

I've had some serious baby fever for a few months. I don't plan on trying again until end of next year but some days I'm itching to have another so bad. Stupid brain.
  • @KatieGummow‌ that's so exciting! M15 (I don't know if you're talking about March or May), but the May group is crazy. Apparently they are all bump 'verterans'.

  • @Vinny424 - when my supply has dipped from me being sick and dehydrated or stressed or whatever, Cora gets fussy and bites and pulls at my nipples and acts hungry after she eats.  She will also take both sides where usually she has one side per feeding.

I remedy it by drinking tons of water, drinking Mother's Milk tea, eating oatmeal (not instant), taking fenugreek and alfalfa, and trying to get enough sleep (ha!) because when I'm better rested, I seem to produce more.  I also pump part time now that I'm back to work, so it's easier for me to tell when my supply is going up or down.
