Yeah, for example, I told Vinny I don't like coffee or nuts. I guess it would be helpful though to post what we like if someone was stumped and wanted to make sure they got something their person really liked.

Watching football and drinking wine from a crappy plastic beer mug... I'm classy
Now if only Aiden would figure out that he knows how to roll from belly to back after he rolls to his stomach in his sleep... Crazy kid, you put yourself in this situation, get yourself out!
I'm super excited for this exchange... Now to go shopping thanks for putting this together @Vinny424!
So much for waiting for 6 months for BLW. DS turned 5 months yesterday - at breakfast he grabbed a piece of spinach and licked it over. Lunch he snagged a lemon, and at dinner he grabbed an entire piece of bread off of my plate with both hands and went to town on that bad boy.
NBD right? They say 6 months, but he can sit unassisted, lost the tongue reflex, and is clearly interested in food and capable of getting it to his mouth, which is every other requirement I've seen.

Go for it. At the end of the day he has the final say and he's saying "momma, feed me what you're eating!"
The exchange sounds like fun. We're running low on funds or I would participate. What would I send from CO? Microbrewed beers, pot, Rocky Mountain oysters, delicious peaches and cantaloupe.....

Also WWRTTD? Lo's sleep has been complete shit at night for the past 6 weeks. He's been waking up to eat 2-5 times per night. He is calm and chill during the day and doesn't seem super hungry. I'm debating starting solids in the hopes of getting him to sleep better again. Thoughts?
I'm cool with his nursing at night, but I also don't want him to be in the habit of getting so many calories at night. I work FT and the patchy sleep is starting to mess with my productivity and energy at work.

M only has an hour left to have his morning poops. Usually he's pooped a few times by now, and had at least one big one. I'm nervous, because he needs to get dressed in his supercute fancypants wedding clothes soon...
Omfg. My MIL just called DH pitching a fit because she didn't get a Grandparent's day card yet. It snuck up on us. What do y'all do for Grandparent's day? Just a card or gift too? We've never celebrated this holiday in my family so not sure what the tradition is.
Oh and apparently she was upset she didn't get a grandmother's card on Mother's Day too. That seems wrong to me since she is LO's grandma not mother! She got a card and gift from DH since he is her kid. Any thoughts on that one??
Good thing my MIL doesn't believe in Grandparent's day. I never heard of it until this year. We may get them a card to be a PITA, so maybe you can grab one and send it ASAP and say it's the post offices fault it took so long.

For the exchange record, I have no allergies, and I love all things except coffee .
I will take all the coffee.
Seriously though, we are day 3 no Coke and I thought I was dying last night. I wish nap time was a thing in this house. And we no do grandparents day. Didn't know about it til looked at my calendar this am.

I wish I liked coffee and nuts soda doesn't give me a caffeine fix, but I can't stand coffee or tea. Boo!
Eta- I just made a list of things to get for my buddy that are yummy and made in MD! I wish I could send blue crabs, but we're in a bit of a shortage.
DD has been horrible with sleeping the past couple weeks. Apparently she's making it up to me now. She slept 13 hrs straight last night!! 6:45-7:45. That or I was so tired from the million wake-ups a night she was doing that I slept through it and let her CIO... Really hoping she's finally over this sleep regression thing!

A FB friend just posted a passive aggressive status about "females" and why she prefers the company of men. That shit irks my nerves like nails on a chalkboard. Hang out with who you want, but referring to women as females is basically speaking as though you're observing the behavior of animals, it's obnoxious, disrespectful, and it makes me cringe. When people use said terminology, they never use "males" to refer to men. Oh and this woman is a high school teacher. Way to teach young men how to speak respectfully about women. :-bd

I hate it when women talk about how they hate other women because they're dramatic and they prefer to have guy friends. In my experience, it's usually those women that make everything dramatic...
I agree. Hang out with whoever you want but don't pretend an entire sex is a problem when really, it's probably just you with the problem.
